Luckily, I got referred to Jessica by someone from the hair salon I was at. It was super last minute and I knew it was a reach, because I was leaving on vacation the next morning, but she was able to make it work and actually come to me! Being from Seattle, we don't typically get "custom spray tans." We just go to salons and use automated machines, such as the VersaSpa or MysticTan, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Jessica came with all of her equipment and set up everything right in my living room within a matter of minutes. I was worried about being self-conscious, but she made me feel completely comfortable! As a first-timer, I obviously had lots of questions and she was more than happy to answer them for me. All of the colors that she uses are custom-mixed to suit your desired shade, so you aren't limited to anything. She also uses vegan products that don't have that strong smell afterwards, which I have always hated but just learned to tolerate as a part of the process. However, the odor is no longer an issue, since her products are 100% organic! I never actually realized how bad the chemicals were for you until I read up on it. Do your research, people! My tan turned out flawlessly. She is super detail-oriented and even gets down to the cuticles on your nails. I got tons of compliments from my friends on how natural my tan looked! What's frustrating is this isn't consistent--her attitude is completely hit or miss depending on the day, which makes the experience unpredictable and uncomfortable. The situation escalated unnecessarily when it could have been handled calmly and professionally from the start. If you come here, double-check your billing and be prepared for inconsistent service. She said I could apply the discount in person- ok. However, when I arrived, I was told it only applied to products. A text sent SATURDAY morning (the day of the supposed sale!) changed the discount to be for "retail only". Many booked services expecting 20% off their visit, only to have the discount changed last minute, leaving them unable to cancel due to the cancellation policy they require you to sign. Very misleading and dishonest.
