We met with Alec Klifa, the "CEO" who gave us a quote for painting the exterior of our home. The promised project would be "2-3 days". First, he kept pushing the start date back every single day. Then, when they were supposed to start, we kept getting excuses, such as "the weather is delaying us". Every time I called, he didn't even know who was calling. He kept confusing me with other jobs. You can tell he is not organized and does not run a business well. When they finally started, Alec sent ONE guy. That's right ONE guy to our house. You can tell he was not a painter and was probably a friend or someone that just really needed a job. He had one SMALL paintbrush with him for our TWO-STORY home. He didn't even have the appropriate-sized ladder for the top story of our home. He came to our house in the afternoon and moved slower than molasses. When questioned about painting upstairs, we were told it was "too windy" (on a 90 degree humid day in sunny Florida). On a different day, he even used his small ladder and placed it on top of his truck to paint upstairs!!!!!!!! Please see images for proof. How unprofessional and unsafe is this?!? Needless to say, it took nearly a month for them to "paint" our house. Even during one of their last days, still with only ONE painter and maybe at times the CEO, I asked them when they would be painting our front door and garage door. The man looked at me like I was crazy. Everything that was previously discussed and signed in the contract was a blur all of a sudden. Fast forward a few hours later, when I came home to find a painted door and garage...IN THE WRONG COLOR. First they didn't know a thing about it and then they took it upon themselves to just paint it without confirming the color we wanted or that was approved by our HOA. Now let me tell you about their "work". Our house looks like a child painted it. It's a complete joke!!!! There are stains everywhere, dripping spots, different colors (trim and wall colors mixed), areas missing paint, and more. It's a true disaster. Also, we asked him to replace our hurricane shutter bolts from all windows. Well guess what? He removed them all and didn't even know how to put them back!!!!!! Our windows have no bolts at all!!!!!!! We asked for them to fix all of his work and he never did. And honestly, I don't even want him to return to my house. Nor do I want to see his face after all of this!!!!!!!! Oh and it took him A MONTH to send his license and insurance documentation. I could go on more, but I think this explains enough and why you should AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! And please see all images!!!!

Please feel free to call me or text me before using this company. If this company quotes you and you prove that you ended up using someone else that you found on Yelp for your project I will Venmo or Zelle you $20! Call or text: 904-675-5734 I requested a quote for a 20ft flagpole to be installed at my home. I was told that as long as I paid for the materials that it would be $187 to complete. I also asked if they have installed flagpoles before and was told that they did. I booked them for a Tuesday 10am and bought all the materials. The guy shows up at my house and does not have tools as he told me his truck broke down. I give him a level and bucket for the concrete. He spends the first 45 minutes reading the directions on how to install the sleeve, he then proceeds to dig and pour the concrete. He tells me that he will be returning in a couple of hours to place the pole into the ground. Fast forward to 7pm that evening I get a call from the guy saying his girlfriends kids are being a pain so he can not come finish the job tonight but will be there at 7am the next morning. I get a text Wednesday morning at 8:15am stating he is going to do another job before coming to complete mine. I then get a text at 4pm saying he is headed my way, I asked how much cash i should go get and was told $262 (more than I was quoted). 5:10pm I get a text that he is 15 minutes away. 5:50pm I get a text that Route 16 is closed and then I never hear from the guy the rest of the night. I finally tell him that there is more than one way to get to my home and that I will finish it myself. Last evening I left a message for the owner and sent a text, the owner of this company could careless about the lack of professionalism of his company. He offers me a reduced hourly rate of $60/hr. He then goes on to tell me that he does not have anyone else available to finish the job and offers to send back the first guy. Why they think that would I want that guy coming back to my house is beyond me. I am then hounded again a couple of hours later about the outstanding invoice. I finally just paid the $120 via Zelle for nothing but a hole I could have dug in 30 minutes.

Client satisfaction is definitely big with him and our tenants (at 2 properties), all reported back praising his professionalism and attention to detail. He was also very punctual and kept me and the tenants updated of his moves whenever he had to leave and go and get supplies/material to complete work and then return to the site. He also sends you photos of the work once it is complete to make sure that you like the end product before he leaves. He seems overall to be a hardworking man committed to doing good work and providing for his family without charging you an arm and a leg for services rendered. Our last handyman was unreliable and would keep switching schedules on us or would be a no-show after we had already scheduled maintenance requests with tenants. That is completely unprofessional and that is why we opted to try someone new and so far we are excited with Cody and hope to use him on future handy work projects. It is extremely important for us that we find that one go to person the tenants can get to know because there are times we ask tenants to provide entry to unit for these repairs and it's important that they get familiar with one person versus many different people coming in and out of the unit.
