Although Richard's quote wasn't initially the lowest, his vision aligned closely with mine from the beginning. He collaborated with me and improved on my initial design, always focused on enhancing the final result. He also suggested practical ways to manage costs--like having me purchase certain furnishings--without compromising the quality or look I wanted thus providing a finished product well below every other quote I was provided by others. Admittedly the project was unique as a hidden speakeasy, but he approached it as something fun and unique. In the end, I can't imagine any of the other builders delivering the same level of craftsmanship and commitment to the original vision that Richard did.

Joe came in and took measurements and we discussed what type of shelving we would like and what color we would like it to be. He also suggested a spice rack for the back of the pantry door. He gave us a quote that I felt was very fair and within a week we had new shelves, a spice rack and a very organized pantry. I would say the best thing is his attention to detail. For me projects are about the details and he gets them right.
