Him and his team were very professional and kind. Marcos was readily available to provide advice on flooring options, and made it a priority to make sure we were happy with the job. He even helped us finishing up the project with a modern trim. After hearing a number of people having nightmare experiences with flooring, we are so grateful. We couldn't recommend Omega enough.

So... We have been looking to hire a contractor to remove and install new Bathroom Floor Tile where…read moreour new Bathroom Floor Tile was installed by Omega, but was detaching from the subfloor. Well, during the bathroom remodel, Omega found the subfloor plywood was in poor condition. We paid Omega to replace the subfloor with new plywood. This house is built on a crawl space and an inspection of the underside of the subfloor in the crawlspace explains why the tile is detaching. The subfloor, in a very high traffic spot that initially was coming up, was not screwed in to the floor joist (picture attached). On top of that, in this same picture, the subfloor does not look like plywood because the subfloor is particle board... which does not have the strength, weight bearing capacity or moisture resistance that plywood does. So, I now understand why Omega does not want to come back to fix the work they did. They did a poor job on this bathroom floor tile and they took our money for one product and replaced it with a substantially inferior product that is well hidden when the work is completed. We really liked Marcos and a lot of the work they did was good, but this is completely unacceptable. There is a word for this kind of thing.

I found Imaginative Solutions through Yelp's Project Assistant while looking for contractors to…read morerepair a water-damaged wall and replace a window. After an informative assessment appointment, I decided to move forward with them. From the beginning, Ben was professional and thorough. He provided a detailed written contract, walked me through his process, answered all of my questions, and ensured the workspace was cleaned at the end of each day. Even when the project extended beyond the original timeline, I appreciated that Ben kept me updated about the challenges he was facing. His communication and transparency were reassuring. Unfortunately, the strong communication didn't last. Toward the end of the project, Ben became unresponsive. Two important tasks remain unfinished, the correction of a gutter that was improperly installed over my back porch and the removal of a large "Bagster - Dumpster in a Bag" filled with trash from the wall replacement. The last time I spoke with Ben was on May 14. He mentioned he was completing another project in GA and would contact me when he returned. Over a month later, with several unanswered messages, I'm having to find someone else to fix the gutter and figuring out how to dispose of the waste left on my property. Ben and his team clearly do quality work, but I'm disappointed in how the project was left incomplete. For potential clients, my suggestion is to hold off on making your final payment until all aspects of the job, including clean-up and waste removal is fully finished.

Rubricx was the most expensive bid, but I got the distinct impression that the others would rush the job and were cutting corners, especially with regards to foundation preparation. Last thing I want is to spend money and find myself with problems a few years down the line. Joseph was very responsive and took the time to discuss all my concerns with me. I wasn't disappointed with my decision. The crew was great and did first rate work, responsive to my idea about installing a catch basin to be able to capture debris as part of the drainage system modifications, and generally went above and beyond. The driveway turned out beautifully. As I said, perhaps a bit more expensive, but if you are someone who cares about quality and value for your money, I highly recommend.

BEFORE YOU GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS, PLEASE, READ THIS! About 6 month ago, I gave this company a great feedback when I was contacted by Rob and asked if I could put a few nice words for K&D. I did not mind.. but I SPOKE TOO SOON. Here what I have been dealing with since MAY 13th till the current day! I made a BIG mistake paying money to K&D roofing without checking the work. Went on total trust. From the first glance, roof looked good. However, when I had a detailed inspection, I noticed that while installing the roof, installers completely damaged the Hardie board sidings of the house that are attached to the garage, broke the brick and did not correctly install flashing causing later on the wood under the roof to decay. Work was still under the warranty, From May 13th till today, July 29th , I have contacted K&D roofing total of 22 times. I had 2 official appointments scheduled. First appointment Rob called and told me that his tire blew up and he cannot come over. I rescheduled. Second appointment he did not show up again and said that he twisted his foot but will show up a few days later. There was no show. I texted him, no answers. I started calling the company and was just giving excuse after excuse. I contacted the company through the portal, but no one called me. I called the company and was told that someone will call me back, but this never happened. I have a compiled list of all the no shows and excuses this company gave me within these 2.5 month. Finally on July 15th, someone from the K&D company called me and told me that he will show up the next day. We agreed on 8AM. The next day I got a call from the person saying he was running late. He finally showed up at 8:30 and here is the story I got. K&D roofing is NOT RESPONCIBLE for collateral damage. They are responsible for the roof, but if they damage something while at it, it is not their fault. I was told that it is mentioned in the contract that I signed. So, the fact that they damaged the siding of the house, broke the brick did not count because it is NOT THE ROOF. He told me that yes, it was his crew that was working there, and they had a hard time pulling old roof and installing the new roof and that is why it happened. There was not even an apology of any kind. He also inspected the back area of the garage where siding and garage meet and where I had a horribly decaying wood and told me that he will follow up with Rob and will be in touch. That was on July 16th. That was my contact #22 with this company. I heard NOTHING back from July 16th. I have a year warranty with K&D.. but what good does it do if they do not show up or basically giving you an excuse for not fixing what they broke? This is the second time I am replacing roof on my property. First time, when I used different company, there was NO ISSUES. When I mentioned this to the person who came in on July 16th, all he told me is that this is because "code changed". So, I guess, 15 years ago "codes where better" and the company I used that time did not damage my property. This time "it is different codes". So, I guess it is OK for K&D damage someone's property. It is ok for K&D avoid customers by not responding to any kind of communications 22 times while the customer is still in warranty. Funny thing, I recommended this company before to my friends and relatives who did the roofs with K&D as well. You would think that this company would respect their loyal customers and referrals they get from them? The answer is BIG FAT NO!!! Once they get the money, they absolutely do not care. I wish there were negative stars.. but "1 star" is the smallest, so I have no choice but give them 1 start.

They basically cut a blank check and that was given to AJ Wells. Now, I would say that AJ Wells does a decent job, but I paid the most $$ on my block according to what my other neighbors said they paid, and their roofs look just as good. After the job was completed there were some nails through the ceiling, a little scary but none hit the floor. They fixed that. We also found some random nails for the next few weeks around the perimeter of the house and in the yard. Also, there are a ton of loose nails in the attic. I noticed that when taking out some Christmas decorations. Would I go with AJ Wells again? Maybe, but it would be highly unlikely.

Dissatisfied 80 Year Old Veteran The first of three…read morecontracts to fix a roof leak was 2-24-21. I spent $3,588.00 total. The first contract was to install new wood, shingles and reinstall a skylight. That work created an additional leak which was patched but didn't fix the original leak. The second contract was a new spark arrestor which didn't fix the leak. The third contract was chimney stucco repair and paint chimney but that didn't fix the leak. After the chimney repair I was told there was a small hole in the AC duct above where it's leaking. I paid an AC repairman $148.99 to tell me it had nothing to do with the leak. There were numerous return visits for water tests, roofing cement, etc. They were unreliable. There was a least a dozen missed appointments - no show, no text and no phone call. Text messages weren't answered. I was told to call when it was leaking so someone could identify the specific location of the leak but when I received a call back hours later I was told they can't "just" send someone out when I call contradicting what I was told to do. In the last text 11-3-25 I was told I had to replace the reinstalled skylight without another water test. I wasn't told in 2021 the skylight should be replaced when I signed the first contract. Replacing the skylight may be another guess like the chimney work, AC duct and spark arrestor. On 11-3-25 I asked for an estimate for a new skylight and installation then received text "OK" but never received an estimate. As of the date of this posting, 2-2-26, the roof is leaking in the same spot on the ceiling in 2021. I don't recommend Stonebridge for any roofing work, stucco painting or stucco repair. I felt disrespected for five years and don't recommend Stonebridge to senior citizens.
