This is an expensive store, shoes are still good for the price, quality and .... compliments... It is a men's store. Just for fun I tried on a pair of XC4 waterproof shoes. I liked them. Afterall, I have a weird shape feet and find it soo hard to find closed shoes that work for me. I found them comfortable but big. I asked Maya to help me out with a smaller size. She did not have those. One thing about the store, if you don't see something on display its more than likely they don't have it. She did not carry a smaller size, but got me loafers and told me they were unisex. I loved them. Neural brown, criss cross stitch and posh looking . I didn't want a display piece so ordered one which will come home. The staff- especially Maya was very patient and friendly. It was a good experience especially considering that now I know, I can wear men's shoes too and feel absolutely comfy ! ;) These shoes last long. And being men's, the option in colors is pretty much limited to black, shades of brown and blue. So, that's a relief, I won't be visiting them anytime soon - saved my pocket . Lol... Johnston and Murphy - a great store with a 175 year old American History to its credit.

They sell pretty excellent business wear and shoes and clothing that is expensive but the people who love it swear by it. Literally they'll often yell out "F***" while they're shopping in here. Thankfully for me Barbie doesn't really want to dress me in this stuff because if she did I would probably do it for her because like wouldn't you do anything for her? I have nothing but good things to say about them. They were the store that my nursing school said…read morewe were required to purchase our uniforms and clinical bag from and their staff was patient and friendly with me as I tried many of the items on. I ended up losing a bunch of weight and they were patient with me as I tried on pants later last year. I do suggest if your starting your nursing school program at a peak time like I did (I started in January 2025), get your scrubs ordered as soon as you have your nursing school orientation and you confirmed what your school wants which is very important if your required to get your scrubs embroidered. It took me a few weeks to get my stuff in but that was because everyone in my program and everyone at surrounding nursing schools were also getting their uniform ordered. There was a small mishap where the wrong jacket was ordered but they made things right and ordered me another jacket that fit me like a glove at no extra charge which is wonderful customer service. I plan to return to them once I start working in nursing for my uniform needs. Chose small business over scrubs and beyond.
