Instead of helping us, he ignored us and proceeded to assist three other customers while we continued waiting. When we finally addressed the situation, Marcus was disrespectful, repeatedly talked back to us, and was sarcastic when we explained that we had been waiting. He also told us that it "wasn't a big deal," which was very dismissive and unprofessional. At one point, he was yelling/talking loudly to customers despite there being a line. John, the supervisor, eventually assisted us, but unfortunately did not address Marcus's behavior or the way he was speaking to customers. A supervisor should be able to step in when an employee is being disrespectful to customers, especially when there are other customers witnessing the interaction. The store's cameras should be able to verify what happened and the amount of time we were left waiting while other customers were assisted. I understand that stores can get busy, but being busy does not excuse disrespectful or sarcastic treatment of customers. I hope management reviews the footage and addresses how this situation was handled.

But it turned out that this gem was the real highlight of our day. First, it's HUGE! There is no doubt that this is the largest, brightest, and most well organized resale shop we've ever visited. It's so well thought out, and it's actually attractive. Unlike comparable venues, this one is not messy, but rather everything is in it's place, easy to locate, and a superb bargain. But the greatest value when visiting here is the staff of volunteers. They are nothing less than wonderful, with their incredibly hospitality and their very obvious joy in being there. They were so helpful, and accommodating. We spent some time with Elizabeth, Pearl, and Laura. What a wonderful way to pass some time. It's hard to express how they extended themselves to make certain that we left entirely satisfied. We just couldn't wait to let others know that this little jewel is there waiting for you on Blalock, and to tell others that they'll be completely pleased when they stop by. A great group, and a fantastic store. Who could have possibly known that this was here, and that we would be so fortunate to park there for the festival.
