Scallops, haggis bonbons, and classic fish and chips with mushy peas.

Absolutely lovely - everything was great - the service, the food - we were first time diners and tired travelers - we were treated like welcome long time friends. Delicious and delightful.

Started out weak. Waited 10 minutes while the staff congregated with just 20 people and 6 staff. The Seaforth Lager was the coldest beer we have had in the UK. We ordered oysters, steamed mussels, and scallops in a pan. They did not have any oysters but eh mussels and the scallops were fantastic! My husband said best fries in the UK! Finished strong. Try it

The last time my boyfriend had fish and chips here must have been about 6 years ago, and it's changed hands since then, but I have to say it wasn't quite the Best Fish and Chips Ever as he made out. But that's not the Seaworthys fault he gave me such high expectations. It's perched very close to the harbour and has a separate dining area and take away. They also have an upstairs bistro but it isn't open during the winter. The decor and feel of the place was everything I wanted! Dark woods, stain glass windows of ships, roaring fire, Scottish music playing. Perfect. We even managed to get comfy sofa seats right next to the fire. The food was prompt and while not The Best was pretty darn good. We all ordered the standard size rather than the jumbo but there was still plenty of eating on the fish and the chips were light and crispy yet chunky. It was a tad on the pricey side but that may just be the extra price with it being a restaurant rather than take away...I usually get fish and chips to take away! Nice friendly staff, good food, not too over priced, great atmosphere and decor. All in all a pretty wonderful place to stop at especially if you're driving through the area.

Great fish & chips with a lovely Leffe beer. Where else can you eat fish & chips with such a fantastic view.

I'm giving this a four star rating, but it's very much a back-and-forth between different concerns…read more First, it's cool that there's a local brewery on Skye and that's probably a full star bump. The beers themselves are just so-so although some of that is just because the local styles aren't exactly my jam. British pub ale (which is what most of their beers wind up being close to) is just not my jam. That said, they have a few better and more complex beers. The Cuillin Beast (scotch ale) and Black (stout, but not too heavy and closer to a less creamy Guinness) are both pretty decent. Nothing mind-blowing though. If you're a craft beer person, this is a "fun because it's local" more than "fun because they're really good" stop. There's a few bottles of stuff you can find in the shop (including a smoked beer, an ESB, and a lighter ale) that aren't available in the restaurants around Skye, but mostly it's the same beers which you can (impressively) find for sale in almost all the restaurants on Skye. The brewery shop itself is disappointing. It's basically a bottle shop with a bunch of merchandise near the pier in Uig. There's a small coffee shop, but you can't do tastings, there's no food. There's attempt to make a space to hang out and enjoy anything near the pier. Even a few picnic tables with a view of the harbor would be really nice. This all rounds out to a four star for me, but it really depends what you're looking for.

Nice little shop with nice staff, but there isn't a tasting room to try before you buy(I'm not sure…read morewhat the UK's laws are regarding this.). So there is some risk on buying something you might not like, but all the bottles were reasonably price anyway. I paid a reasonable £3.30 for a 500ml bottle of tasty ale.
