I had to go to Hampton for the Smuttynose Hampton Beach Marathon. And I didn't want to have to go up the morning of from Boston, so we stayed at the Seabrook Inn. They were very accommodating for the marathon runners; we got a discount on the room, you could have the room until 4 so when you finish running you can shower and take a nap if you finished early enough, they opened their continental breakfast early (4 am) to make sure we were fed (And seriously it was the best breakfast for runners; bread things, hard boiled eggs, coffee), and it was only a 15 minute drive to the beach. The rooms were clean, don't expect some modern, fancy hotel. It was fine for the night. The beds are kind of firm which is fine for me, but it's something to note. We were also next to the stairs which can get noisy but once I'm asleep I'm pretty much down for the count. We had a refrigerator and iron, but I didn't see a hair dryer (Ladies! Bring your own if you need it.). It's pretty quaint, but it was absolutely doable. read more

you have got to be kidding me! the property was in disrepair, trash throughout the grounds of the property, tiny room with trashy furniture, threadbare towels and dirt on floor and vents of the airconditioner, no blankets - just bedspreads circa 1970, wash between bookings? doubtful! Coffee in room? just decaf, an old coffee pod was in the machine with Hairy Mold growing on it. at 7:30 am I asked the front desk for regular coffee packets and was told that "these are not available for the rooms as there is coffee in the lobby....well, the urn in the breakfast room was empty and we were told that the person that would make more wouldn't get there until 8:15...unbelievable at 150.00 a night! read more

we have been going by this Inn and thought it looked like a nice place to stay so we did and the minute we walked in I wanted to turn around and walk back out but we couldn't so we stayed but it was horrible! dirty furniture, broken furniture, dirty sink & floors, refrigerator, microwave so dirty! No hot water!!!!It is disgusting! do not go there! And to make it even worse the people in the room above us had to weigh 500 lbs because when they walked it made so much noise and kept us awake! With the average reviews on this place I figured it was a gamble. Nothing went well here. The shower was disgusting with mold around the drain, the shower head wasn't any better with some kind of sediment in/around it. Hot water lasted maybe 2 minutes maximum then became lukewarm. The door coming into the room was gapped so far you could see light from outside and feel the breeze. The lock was so questionable we actually used a chair against it for security. We also had key card issues where neither card was letting us into the room. When I went to the office for help both people At the counter were short and rude, seeming like I was inconveniencing them with the issue. I was staying there because I'm working in Salisbury. I was on my 3rd week there I come back after the weekend got my room went to bathroom and found a bad of meth so I passed it in the front desk and said if you're people cleaned it they would of found it or it's the people you have working there. The guy says thank you I stay there the rest of week. I go to check in again this week and they said they can't rent to me didn't give me a reason. Called today and they said because I found drugs I can't stay there. We elected to stay in this inexpensive motel prior to a funeral. It seemed welcoming, brightly lit, painted in refreshing blue and white. First the good news. It was inexpensive. The bed was decent and there were a good selection of pillows. Sheets were clean. Towels were adequate but rough and scratchy. Continental breakfast was provided. Lobby staff were sufficiently polite. There is the good news. Not for the rest of the story: we were given a non smoking ground floor room as we requested. But... the people above us who appeared to live here were heavy smokers and not just regular cigarettes. Pot. Fumes wafted through our vents so we may as well have been in a smoking room. There were a compliment of flies in the room (fortunately they were free). We couldn't towel snap them to death. In all staying here was like sleeping in a bad gas station bathroom. The toilet area smelled of stale urine. There were no tissues in the empty holder. Just avoid this place if you can. read more

If I could give them no stars or negative stars I would. This place was the worst place I've ever stayed at. We asked for an extra pillow and blanket for my son & they told us no. They complained when I asked for more toilet paper. They called the cops twice in 15 mins on a family that was there just because they was a mixed family & I over heard the owner said the black man was harassing here which he wasn't because I witnessed the whole thing. The room smelling disgusting when we walked in. There was cigarette burns on the blanket that we did have in the room. Stains all over the rug. My child got bit up by some type of flies or bedbugs. The only pleasant part is the water slide for the kids. The manager is very rude and unpleasant to deal with. Witness such racial comments tords a family that was staying there and as this unpleasant experience is happening they decide to go around all of the ppl in the pool area changing rules and yelling about pool bracelets. I had bug's coming out of the heater in the bathroom all over the towels There was nasty built up mold of the shower head and my son came home with whelches and rashes from whatever he was bit by staying at this non clean sanitized establishment.... Not to mention stains on sheets and pillow cases.... Breakfast included to my surprise was only steel cereal my kids wouldn't eat frozen mini cinnamon buns practically frozen boiled eggs n toast. Never clean dry towels at the pool area. And at one point they refused to turn the water slide on cause they was mad about a situation earlier with then calling the cops twice on a family over asking to use there own umbrella for the pool area.... Moldy ceilings, broken fixtures and cobwebs everywhere for $150 a night? No thank you. We stopped at the Seabrook Inn after a wedding in a nearby town. It seemed okay at first glance, but once we got settled in, we noticed a lot of issues with our room. The rooms have nice TV's but are overall VERY outdated and dirty. The first think I noticed was that the carpet was peeling around the edges of of the floor. It was also very dusty behind the bed stand and we found cobwebs in the bathroom. The worst part though was the BLACK MOLD in the bathroom. Please check out that picture, because it was a very large (at least a foot long and wide) black mold stain in our bathroom. It was nasty and I didn't even want to shower in the room. The Seabrook Inn itself is gross. It's too bad the rooms are so bad, because I feel like it used to be a better hotel than it is. They also have an inviting looking children's pool, but knowing how dirty this place is, I don't think I would let a child swim in there. We booked this hotel yesterday morning after seeing that it would be about $140 total with fees, and the rating of the hotel was decent enough. We were not able to check in until very late, about 2 AM. After a long night we were ready to relax and sleep. The check-in process was very long and arduous with several papers that needed to be signed and a piece of paper that we had to put in our vehicle which stated that if our vehicle was damaged in any way that it wasn't the hotel's responsibility. There was also another woman in line acting very shaky and strange; she was going back-and-forth between the ATM trying to gather up enough money for herself to be able to stay the night. We get to our room and when we open it, an immediate smell of old animal pee and smoke hit us hard. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Strike 1. Strike 2 was that the temperature control did not work in our room at all. It was chilly that night and I wanted a little bit of heat. Nothing worked. The rest of the strikes are in the pictures below... filthy stained carpets, a broken lock on the door which is another safety issue, dust and grime all over everything, debris on the floor, also the sizing of the pillows was terribly small as you can see in comparison to my hand, a missing dresser drawer (so who knows what happened there), a lamp held together with tape, a piece of black dirt came off of the toilet seat, a cigarette burn on the comforter...I'm sure we could go on. It just got worse and worse the more things we found and experienced. There were also loud and creepy people outside this place, at times making loud noises and at one point even playing around and banging something on our door. The vibe of this place and the creeps outside really made us wonder now about why this hotel would make us put a note about damage not being the hotel's responsibility in our car window. We are feeling lucky that nothing happened to our car. We are in the process of requesting a full refund of our money. Obviously the only reason we ended up even daring to stay there last night was because we knew there would be no other options at 2 AM in the morning at that point. Honestly, if we felt a little safer in that area, we probably would've just slept in our car instead. This hotel needs to be inspected and shut down by OSHA or whatever appropriate authority handles safety concerns in this area. This is honestly a safety and health issue, especially with a pandemic going on right now. If they can't even clean their rooms at all, then how can this hotel be expected to be safe from Covid, and safe from other harmful things like mold and other diseases? Wish I could give no stars. This place is the pits. Rude staff and FILTHY rooms. We should have left when we were checking in and a couple brought the keys back and said they wouldn't stay there. So my husband took two of our kids as a treat, pool looked nice etc. paid 176.00 for the room. Rooms smells like an old whore house. So much old nasty perfume. Daughter goes in the bathroom and the toilet has been used and not flushed. Lovely. This motel needs updating badly. While appearing clean (thank God) with free WiFi and a decent size fridge in the room, it's dank and smells of stale cigarettes despite the threat of a $250 fee for smoking in the room. (Note the precariously balanced sand bucket ash trays that line the railing just outside the doors.) The quality of the fixtures/towels/soaps/furniture was low end - this place has more of the feel of a camp motel or someplace you'd stay out of necessity - and with that being the case, you'd probably be ok with it (minus the ashtray smell). I think that's a big factor as to why I've rated it so low because of my expectations of an "inn". read more

The hotel took 0 responsibility, would not ask the people to settle down and informed me that anything that happens outside of the ROOM itself is NOT their problem. I recommend you look some where else to stay!!!! only place I ever been in my life that your treated like sh*t the second you walk in. almost like your a nuisance to them for making them do there job. to start we planned our family get together get away there and let me tell you it was our biggest mistake ever. we ended up there on the hottest days of the season with temps in upper 90s and feel like temp from 100 to 115 degrees. only to walk into our rooms with broken air conditioners and broken refrigerator. obviously we call and get sent the next rudest employee they have and are told " eh that's the best your gonna get" and walked away. so we decide to enjoy the pool before it closes at the early 7pm that it does and run into another brilliant employee of theirs that's hanging with all her friends. we over hear one of her friends boasting about kicking one of my nephews then the so called life gaurd employee starts yelling at only our kids for doing everything everyone else is doing. that turns into her and her friends basically harrasing our kids. meanwhile this said employee is now being watched and recorded as she and her friends go from pool to pool play fighting slapping kicking and yelling, then proceeds to grab a garbage bag and put it over her friends head and push in the pool!!!! so now we return to our rooms to shower/get dressed to enjoy Hampton and Salisbury beach and hope the a/c some how started working but obviously dont so we call again. we actually get a normal guy that is maintenance which came to switch out the a/c's and fridges since this is in both rooms. both rooms with kids one room having a 2 yr old who unfortunately has already been through numerous life threatening surgeries and has a really bad respiratory system and the other room being mine with my youngest 3 yr old which has major asthma. all in all we got our refrigerators fixed!! still sitting in a sauna if a room to be clear and after all our food went bad already mind you! the staff proceeds with the smallest efforts to help anymore and yells at us over the phone, hangs up on us then calls the cops after a few exchanged words!! the rooms themselves are HORRIBLE!!! musty moldy smells, blood stained sheets with hair and eyelashes all over them, everything you touch is sticky. the carpet is disgusting! bathrooms are filthy hair in tubs and on walls, moldy caulking, mirrors filthy and barely hanging on the wall, lamps being held up by the wall. broken microwave, broken door and I'm sure I'm leaving out some more. I stayed here Tuesday through Thursday with my family and no matter where I stay I always check the bed linens which I thought I did thoroughly,but the next morning when I woke up and the blankets were disheveled I found blood stains on the comforter of the bed I was sleeping on and other substance stains on the blankets underneath the comforter on the other bed in the room. I immediately brought it to attention to one of the room inspectors in which she repeatedly told me I should have come to her sooner (had I saw the stains earlier I would have brought it to attention) she did not offer new sheets, nor comforter. She brought it to the managers attention and they refused to give us a refund or a discount NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. I will never stay there again and I would never reccomend it to anyone but if you have to stay there CHECK EVERY INCH OF THE BED LINENS! Great price, cool pools, perfect distance from Hampton beach, 13ish mins without traffic. Customer service is fast and on point. I drove back at around 1am and there was no parking spots in the entire lot, they fixed the problem quickly. However, the "deluxe free continental breakfast" is only packaged pastries, boiled eggs, toast, and cereal. Kind of a bummer. Nothing was fresh. I've never seen such a small selection of breakfast food before. I wish what they offered was mentioned in their website. We made a coffee and quickly left, to buy a meal somewhere else. While the Seabrook Inn isn't a fancy hotel by any means, it is absolutely pleasant, clean, and well maintained. For a hotel of this category, I was really impressed! Our room had two beds that were topped with fresh, clean, soft blankets. There was a cute little table with two chairs by the window where we could look out on snow falling on the nearby trees. As an added bonus, there was a very clean mini fridge in the room! All rooms have outdoor access, and it appeared there are great summer time amenities at the hotel as well. The breakfast which is included is a much larger spread than I would expect to fine at an Inn such as this, with pastries, bagels, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, bananas, and several hot and cold beverage options. The best part of the stay, however, was the fantastic staff. Everyone I met who worked here was super friendly and willing to accommodate any requests. No matter what time of day they had a smile on their faces and, well frankly I can't say enough about how great they were. I would definitely stay here again in the future if my travels take me near Seabrook! read more

This place used to be amazing . So much stuff for everyone to do especially kids . Over the last few years they took more and more things away . We brought several friends here over the years and everyone lived it . You couldn't beat the price . They went from having swan boats, pony rides , a kids ferris wheel , petting zoo, several jumpy house, an obstacle course, water slide . Outdoor movies at night , face painting , a snack shack and more. It's so sad What its become . I heard that the original owner the grandfather passed away. He was all about family and putting smiles on kids faces ! I guess his grandchildren took over and completely ruined it . Only reason this place gets one star is because you have to give it something. Oh man where do I start. So once I get to my room I notice the dead coackroaches around my coffee maker and my shower.. also the shit stained sheets were a nice touch. Who does the housekeeping at this place? She must be blind and let me tel you about the Manager on duty. She must live in this vile place because her attitude is just as clean as the shower head I was ganna use to wash my body. It was so gunked up that water didn't even come out of all the spigots. Bathroom took 45 minutes to use after someone had went because the water didn't replenish fully. Very disappointed. Stayed here for years and kids love the pools. Had our first stay of this summer 2 weeks ago and found 2 hairs in the shower - not a HUGE deal I suppose but we went to stay again last night. As I was laying in bed I felt something bite my arm. The lights were off so I used my phone flashlight to check if it was a mosquito and saw a bedbug running! I thought oh no no no and was praying it was an ant....NOPE, it was a bed bug and I took a video. I was so discombobulated. Needless to say I had to wake my 3 children at midnight to pack up and leave. I mandated my card not to be charged. All I got from the front desk as a response was "do you want to switch your room?"
