This is the tub with the stains/dirt
    Megan S.

I don't even know where to begin. The room was in horrible shape and dirty. The sheets were stained with what looked like blood and something brown. We called for a new set as well as towels because they only had 3 in the room and was told 45 minutes. After that time passed we called again and we're told an hour. At this point it was 9:45 pm and went to bed with no sheet. There were no outlets and that worked and one had no cover and and broken. There was a grape in the sink drain and a toothpaste cap in the bathroom. The wall looked like it had water damage. I don't mind hotels that aren't luxury, but I can't handle dirty.

Took this after sleeping in it. Didn't realize nobody ever posted a room pic.

I see a lot of negative reviews and if I had bed bug bites or blood in my room I might have given a scolding review too. However, that wasn't my experience and I'll give reviews on rooms 218 and 319 since those are ones I have stayed in. Both rooms were clean, but not new and certainly not high end. However, they were spacious and had plenty of room to move around and included a fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board and plenty of amenities. The beds were actually pretty comfy and better than the average motel. The price for this place was very reasonable (under $100 a night) so you have to keep that in mind. The only issues I saw were some hairs (women's I assume) on the wall of the tub and in a floor corner of one room and the other had a stain on a bath towel (looked like a faint remainder of a stain from someone cleaning their shoes perhaps and it didn't come out?). So. The stay wasn't blissful with rooms service and high end amenities but if you need an inexpensive place to get some sleep and a shower, this certainly fits the bill. I should also add that there is a pretty nice indoor pool here so if you have kids that are coming be sure to pack bathing suits. Enjoy!

I don't feel good about the bathroom odor I think stinks like pee, I have to ask front desk for more towels it was only 3 shower towels, you are not aloud to smoke in balcony but is aloud to smoke front entrance. I like my house nice and clean maybe I am strict in my cleaning but I don't feel this place is clean enough to my knowledge

Connie the manager attacked my husband from behind the counter for bringing paint chips from bath (that our 1 year old almost ate) to the front desk. She has no sense of hospitality. Screamed at us for asking to use pool. Screamed for asking about clean towels when there was a paper on door that told us to ASK FRONT DESK about clean linen. Very rude and needs to NOT work with the public. Told us she'd call the cops on us for asking if we could speak with a supervisor. Very unprofessional and this place is absolutely disgusting!

    Hole in wall

Look elsewhere! The smell of the entire lobby, hallway and rooms is awful. Cigarette and mold. Our bedroom smoke detector was ripped out, there was a hole in the wall, mold and mildew on the ac/heat unit causing us to keep it turned off. There was black hair in our shower, and whoever stayed in the room prior left their bag of boiled eggs and take out container of food in the fridge. I brought it the the front desks attention informing them the room was absolutely not cleaned she just looked at me without a word, I handed her the food and she stared at me and shrugged her shoulders. It's a non smoking room also no smoking on the deck but people do and the smoke comes right into the rooms near by. Walls and ceiling are thin, you hear every single thing. Not a single hand sanitizing station seen. The staff was watching movies and on their phones rather than helping guests. I needed shower towels and was handed 1 and told to check later for more they were all dirty at the time. The shower didn't drain so that was disgusting. And if anyone has any fears of ghosts or spirits, I would not stay here. We experienced some weird things and for some people that can be an issue. Not pictured is the previous guests old food in the fridge. Very dated, very dirty, we left after our 3 night stay with a cough and just feeling gross.

They didn't even clean the chairs for us....

There's not a whole lot of reasonably priced options up here. This will do for a night or two.

You get a parking pass at no extra cost. My favorite part about this place- you literally can't get more beachfront than this. You walk out your sliding door and you're literally walking on the sand. You can hear the waves crashing at night. There's a small porch outside each room, and the rooms walk out into a "sand garden"- a fenced off area with a grill, fire pit, picnic tables and lounge chairs for use to all guests. The beach is beautiful- huge and big waves, clear water.. Not as packed and loud as Hampton beach. The location of Salisbury beach is a huge plus.... Drive 10mins north and you're in Hampton beach, NH. Drive 15 mins south and you're in the town of Newburyport, MA which is adorable--- historic whaling town with old brick sidewalks and buildings, with tons of shops/bars/restaurants/art/ice cream places. You can spend hours here. One minor drawback about the Shoreline Motel is that the walls seem thin- we didn't spend much time in the room but when we did we heard every move the people made above us. Def not a big deal but something to think about.

(we picked Hampton bc the pool was open) That was the only reason we stayed at that one in Hampton, and only that ONCE, NEVER again! This was supposed to be the Best western PLUS! (keep that in mind, it's supposed to be "better") We had a great check in with a woman who's name I don't remember, but this was winter of 2024, she was heavily pregnant, but so delightful and attentive. However that's where our great experience goes there. After checking in the room was not up to standards and my standards is far from high. They had construction going on and when my son stepped outside with us, he had a nail go straight through his shoe and into his foot. I reported this to best western main line and that the construction workers were pouring paint down the rain drains. (like the ones outside for out rain water) The next day we switched to the one in Seabrook as we were staying multiple days. (And LOVE BW in Seabrook) Also the "heated" pool in Hampton, was so cold it was not worth the swim. We asked if the heater was on and they said tomorrow they would do so as it would take hours to heat. (So, why would you not start it now.) However this leads me to the best western in Seabrook which we switched to the next day bc we had multiple day stay, where everyone in Seabrook BW was kind attentive and the whole place was clean not just the room. We have stayed so many times that I'm a platinum member and the pool is always warm, the staff always friendly and never leave me waiting for towels or anything! TY to Donna, Imran, Kathy and Marlin at seabrook BW! I wish I knew all the cleaning staffs names, but ALL was amazing and never have I had a bad experience here! This is the place to stay for comfort, peace and relaxation!! My kids refer to the one in Hampton as the Best Western "NEGATIVE ", when we drive by! We would never choose any other Best Western in our area other than Seabrook!!
