I remember the lady that was doing my nails always messed up my friend's nails in high school but hey it's been years maybe there's growth and change. i was unfortunately wrong. the lady that did my nails rushed through the process. She didn't clean my nails before putting polish on so there was still dust on my nails from my previous acrylic set. The way she did my design looked very sloppy and i politely asked if we could just do a solid color instead because i didn't like how it looked. She removed the design and did a solid color however she got polish all over my hands and cuticles. My cuticles were bleeding. it just looked very messy. I went to wash my hands and was not happy with how they looked. I couldn't bring myself to pay $60 for it which I usually would never do or say. I told her my concerns very politely and even apologized and she proceeded to yell at me in front of a salon full of people. she told me I shouldn't have come here and I should've went to my go to salon if they were so good there but that is an hour commute. anyways she said she would cut off my nails which I thought was unfair. why should I have to pay for a new set now? she sent me to another one of her coworkers to remove the polish. everyone was staring at me and I was trying so hard not to break down. I was silently crying and shaking from humiliation. I left hysterically crying with my nails unfinished. I will never come here again.

She left my toner on for too long and I was now a full brunette. she told me it looked great and I would get used to it. I was not happy so I came back the following morning to have my hair re-bleached. while waiting for the salon to open, I watched her again smoked marijuana before starting her shift. my hair lightened slightly, but still nowhere near what I wanted. I was left with hair that was brittle and broken from being bleached twice in less than 24 hours and was out $300. I'm not sure if the owners know that their employees are doing drugs while their clients are sitting in the chair.

She was easy to talk to and truly listened to me. Together, we came up with a plan for my hair. I valued her input as she explained each step of her process. Sometimes, hairdressers can be jarringly rough with shampooing but Ava made sure the water temp was comfortable and massaged my head with just the right amount of pressure. The hot towel treatment after was heavenly. I'm happy to say my curls are back and well defined, unlike my last hair experience, where the hairdresser blew my hair out straight despite me sharing a photo of a curly hair style.
