I decided to give Masha Lash another chance after not returning for several years due to a previous…read morenegative experience with lash extensions. Unfortunately, today's interaction reminded me exactly why I stopped going in the first place. I accidentally booked the wrong service online (I booked lash relaxer and wanted a lift and tint, a simple mistake) and paid the required $15 deposit. When they called this morning to confirm, we realized I had selected the wrong appointment. No problem, I wasn't trying to cancel or ask for my money back. I simply wanted to rebook the correct lash lift/tint service for their next available appointment, which was a couple of weeks away. I asked a very simple question: could the $15 deposit I had already paid be applied toward the deposit for the new appointment? What should have been a 30-second conversation somehow turned into nearly 15 minutes of confusing back-and-forth. I was told the new deposit would be $44 because the service was $88. I said that was completely fine and again asked whether my existing $15 would be applied toward that $44. Instead of receiving a straightforward answer, the conversation continued in circles, accompanied by an unnecessarily dismissive attitude. Ultimately, they kept my $15 deposit, and I chose not to book the new $88 appointment at all. To be clear, my frustration is not over $15. It is about customer service. I was actively trying to reschedule and spend more money with the business, and a very simple, reasonable question was handled in a way that made me no longer want to be a customer. I genuinely wanted to give Masha Lash a second chance after my previous experience, but unfortunately, this interaction only reinforced why I stopped going there in the first place. Good customer service and clear communication matter, especially when a customer is actively trying to continue doing business with you.

I understand that the past couple years have been hard on small companies due to the…read morepandemic...however...the poor customer service aspects of Quality Pool & Spa are unacceptable. I called in mid September to get on the calendar for a pool closing, my name and number was taken, however I never received a call back. I proceeded to call them again and asked for a date when my pool would be closed, and was grumpily told 10/20. I'm working on 10/20 in the basement, and occasionally look out to see if they are here or not as I have a couple questions to ask and the couple of workers that came out the pervious year were quite knowledgeable, but I don't see them. I look out a few hours later, and find the water lines had been blown out, but they workers are gone already. Checked my phone, no voicemails, No calls to let me know they are on their way, no knock on the door to let me know they arrived, nothing saying they were working here and they were done. I called back to ask if they are going to put the winter cover on, no answer, so I leave a voicemail. I proceed to call again the following morning to see if they are going to come out and put the cover on, to which I'm informed that I registered for the blow out service, instead of the full closing, even though I wasn't informed that they had different options when I setup the closing. They informed me that it was $300 to do the blow out service, and $435 to do the full closing. This company needs to do a better job at actually communicating with customers and not just handling things the way people think they want them handled. I'm a nobody, so I'm sure losing me as a customer isn't big deal to them, but it's sure going to make me feel better by not spending my money at this store anymore.

Constant chaos due to sloppy, inept management and a steady flow of new employees quitting without warning after only a few days on the job. The obese store manager here always seems to have only a tenuous grasp on her managerial responsibilities. Even worse, is the scrawny hag from corporate who has delusions of grandeur despite the fact that she spends most of her time doing the same grunt work and enduring the same drudgery as the regular low-paid drones. In fact, this crone's unrealistic superiority complex tempted me several times in passing, to viciously clothesline her. And just like her two other corporate counterparts, she's clownish and clueless. Add to that, the pay is barely over minimum wage, the benefits are laughable, and because SA is considered a religious entity, if you're let go or there's another scam-demic, you won't get unemployment benefits. My fiancé and I both have credit cards with IHG so we try to choose IHG hotels to use our points at. This was definitely an older hotel. The room was nice and clean, which I appreciated, and the bed was comfortable. I like to take baths instead of showers and the bathtub's drain plug did not hold, unfortunately; I was able to take a bath, but not actually retain the water in the bathtub. I also think the room was a little dusty because I had a slightly stuffy nose yesterday, but I woke up with a completely clogged nose today, and so did my fiancé. Because this is a regular Holiday Inn, and not a Holiday Inn Express, there is no free breakfast, but there is a small restaurant/diner type of space on site if you want food. Interestingly, when I checked in on the Swarm app, when I arrived, it listed it as a Holiday Inn Express, so I'm wondering if it used to be one (with free breakfast!) at some point. Overall for the price point, or in this case, the points range, this wasn't a bad stay for one night, but I would maybe seek out a different Holiday Inn in the area next time.

Steve suggested that I bring in water samples on a regular schedule, and going the same day each week is helping. While opening the pool, Josh wouldn't give up as he fine-tuned our sprayers that have not been working well the last two seasons. The arch of the water is gorgeous once again! Steve was able to tell me all about the pros and cons of a chlorine vs. salt water pool. I really feel confident making my decision to stay with our current system. I've been in the store twice with water samples. The Zagers team have been thorough giving guidance all while being patient with my many questions. I bought a Dolphin pool robot by Maytronics with Bryan's help and expert knowledge of the many models. He reassured me that he can repair the equipment right at Zagers. I love the ease of vacuuming now! The app is amazing and it is so easy to control the robot from my phone! Bryan also demonstrated how I could change the sand in my filter. He has a similar Triton filter in the showroom and walked me through the steps that I could do myself. He sent me helpful videos and links to the manuals and directing me right to the part of the process which was confusing at first. Jordan answered a frantic phone call. I had a lot of chemicals to add, the sand to change, and I needed reassurance. He offered to send me an email and it arrived in less than five minutes after he confirmed a few facts with a service tech! The exceptional level of service is why we trust our pool to Zagers!
