********Mexican Food yay ***** Located in the Ameristar Casino. Well lit , vibrant and spacious. Hours vary being closed Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday-Sunday 5p-9pm. Upon walking in Angie was our waitress . Very helpful, informative and pleasant. I ordered a build your own Shrimp burrito with fajita veggies added and extra pico which was delicious, hot and fresh to order with a blood orange margarita, a bit salty but it was drinkable. My friend ordered a chicken taco salad and coconut lime margarita. Both drinks and food had great presentation. Chips and salsa was delicious and seasoned well. They offer flights for $40 bucks and that presentation format was great . I will definitely be back to try that as well:) I attached ingredients below for food and drink . Overall a 7/10 meal.

Great location for a Mexican restaurant! Food is pretty good. Prices are reasonable. Complimentary chips and salsa is good. I had the coconut blueberry margarita. Strong and sweet. I loved it! I also had the ground beef flour tacos. Very good. Customer service is great! My friend's order incorrectly had cheese. They let her keep the incorrect meal and gave her the correct full meal. Would definitely return if I'm visiting the casino.

A Mexican place in a casino? My friend and I have been arguing on Mexican restaurants so we agreed to try this one! Small venue (the old Pearls at Ameristar). Got seated quickly and no wait on a Saturday evening. Bar is open seating if you like. Prompt, fast friendly service! Typical Mexican restaurant drinks. Blood orange margarita was good but margaritas way over priced. Small menu as well compared to other Mexican places. Don't hate that concept as it allows them to focus on what they do serve. Street tacos and fajitas were fabulous. All Mexican restaurants are judged on their chips and this one has one of the best! Warm perfectly salted chip with cold salsa is a great combo! Just opened in Feb 2024, they got a good thing going and hope to see them expand!

The Salt3d Lime is located inside of the Ameristar Casino. The placecwas clean. It was colorful and lively. The server was new. Shevdud a decent job of waiting on us. The food was okay. I got grilled chicken Fajita. The grilled chicken was good. The queso was okay. The salsa was okay. I had a Wildberry Margarita. It was good but I couldn't drink it. I couldn't handle the texture. They had actually wild berries in it. Every time I tried to sip they would clog up the straw. I meant to get a different Margarita but I ordered the Wildberry. Overall I had a pleasant time. I would recommend.

The Salted Lime is the New Restaurant that you need to bookmark ASAP! The newly revamped space is serving up delicious Mexican food, fun margaritas, Patron flight trees, and an amazing Birria Chimichanga! Be sure to save room for dessert because everything is made in house and SO delicious!!! My favorite menu items were: Coconut Lime Margarita (A must for sweet drink lovers) Street Tacos (you can mix & match!) Beef Fajitas Birria Chimichanga (seriously delicious!!) Churro Cheesecake & Tres Leches (order both and thank me later) Parking is free in the Casino parking lot! This is the perfect spot for a fun night out or a quick taco dinner before catching a show at Ryse!

    Chimichanga w/Birria Beef... delicious!

This place replaced Pearl's and IMO, it was a good idea. I've had Salted Lime outside of StL at Ameristar's sister casino in Vegas and this menu here is much much more condensed. However, it's ok to be condensed if the food taste good, which what I had did. Chimichanga with Birria Beef and the Chimi has queso on top. Served with Sour Cream and Guac, this tasted amazing. I tried to finish every bite, but couldn't quite get there. This dish isn't served with rice and beans, so if you think you have room in your stomach, you'll need to order those on the side. Seating at the bar is perfect and there's clear view of the TV with sports on. Queso and the Salsa have a great flavor with the chips and they have a strong bar selection. Great alternative to the sports bar for fast casual food. Get in and out and head to the casino floor! Enjoy!

Wasn't that good and the prices were so high. The staff was nice and friendly the queso dip taste like Buffalo Wild Wings queso.

It is a bit of a drive for us and I don't see a return visit in the future. Ms T ordered a quesadilla with chicken. The tortilla was dry. The cheese and chicken were skimpy, coming nowhere near the edge of the tortilla and the chicken was just cooked chicken with no seasoning, no salt. My huevos rancheros came with the strangest salsa on them. They were served with a tortilla underneath, which is as they should be, but the sauce was almost clear, like broth thickened with cornstarch. It had a bit of tomato, but no chile and no seasonings. It was what I call wallpaper paste for anyone old enough to know what that is. The refritos and rice were fine, not remarkable. The guacamole was decent, not an onion bomb. I also ordered a side of carnitas, which would have been good had they not been served at room temperature. I asked for corn tortillas and received more of the dry flour tortillas that Ms T had for her quesadilla. The salsa served with the complimentary totopos was the best thing of the meal but that does not warrant a return visit.

We ordered the beef and chicken fajitas. They were excellent with lots of meat and great flavor. We also ordered the Special Dinner which has a lot of different items on it. We also ordered a side of queso cheese sauce which made everything taste better. Their salsa is very good too. The have a good variety of Mexican Beers and they are very cold. Try one in a frosty mug. The restuarant is a very down to earth place with a lot of couples and families. We all enjoyed it and will definately be back again soon. Thanks

I really liked their food and no frills location, casual ambience, friendly service and generous portions of house-made eats! Everything from apps to dinners, Taste of Mexico specialties and more...you won't go hungry! Overall, 4.0 rated experience; expect to pay $15-18pp for entrees, plus any starters or drinks. Tonite we started with Kevs Dip, tender seasoned ground beef in a cheesy dip (would've liked more cheese) topped with pico de gallo. Enough to share, it was tasty and served with house tortilla chips. I think if you prefer a spicier version, try their Queso Fundido which has house-made Chorizo and fresh Jalapeños in cheese dip - i definitely want to try the Fundido next time. For dinners, we ordered Chori Chicken and a Weldon Spring Burrito. Both were plentiful portions (shareable if not overly hungry) and delicious! The Chori Chicken had house-made Chorizo and grilled onions atop grilled Chicken breast smothered in queso; served with rice, beans, salad and flour tortillas - hits the spot! The Burrito had grilled Ribeye steak, avocado, rice, beans, mushrooms, fajita peppers, cilantro and queso - wow it was a giant and complex burrito but very tasty to eat! Plenty of menu options to try, and perhaps my one surprise was quite limited Pork selections; while they had Al Pastor (marinated) Pork dishes, they did not have any Carnitas type dinner or Enchiladas. Regardless, I'll be back again soon to experience more of their home-cooked Mexican eats - hope you'll find and give Casa Mia's a try! Cheers, ENJOY!!
