The hot tub and shower were pure luxury! The decor was sweet and carefully chosen. You could tell that the owners take great pride (and have great taste) in their creation. We had a large upstairs, two room, high ceilinged suite with an ocean view balcony. There were two pretty fireplaces and plenty of closet space. Breakfast was cheerfully served in a charming room downstairs and cookies were left for us in the evenings. Fresh baked cookies. The Mankins family own and operate their own business with love and creativity - and it shows. There are 9 themed rooms, and I can't wait to try them all.

The beds were comfy and like that the input ports for the TV were on a panel beneath the TV for easy access. Lots of surface area to put your stuff and the little corner table was perfect for eating. The folks at the front desk were friendly and the cookies in the afternoon were great. Rooms come with a coffee maker (Good coffee provided), microwave and decent size fridge. I would stay again but would get an upstairs unit with its own balcony. The down stairs rooms open up into a shared patio area. There are partitions but you have to get use to folks walking by you.

Everything was within walking distance. Our room was on the second floor and the room was large. The heater worked mostly and the room had a fridge and microwave. The bed was basic and not too comfortable, and the covers didn't Go over your shoulders. The lobby was open til 10pm. Foggy and cool mornings and no issues to Report. We visited the wineries in Paso Robles- there are many !

It has changed ownership and some things have changed. They still allow dogs but gone are the personalized dog bowls and treats, as well as, the grassy fenced in dog yard. The yard is there but it is a gravel pit. However, there is still an open lawn area with seating. On the positive, the rooms are the same - neat and clean with comfy bedding. It has easy access to the beach. On the whole, this will still be our choice when staying in Cayucos.
