I was unsure what to expect of a salt room prior to my visit but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I came as part of an all day bachelorette party. We started our day in the salt room which was very comfortable. They had those zero gravity chairs in a circle, surrounding a salt rock, inside the salt room with kind of a campfire vibe. The temperature was very comfortable (I was worried it would be really hot or really cold or something). At first some of us felt like we had a tickle in our throats but after about 15 minutes we all felt just fine. There was a water feature inside the room that created a great ambience. I found this place via Groupon. It sounded somewhat silly, but it was cheap and might help my allergies, so I decided to risk it. I am glad that I did! While breathing in salt might sound unpleasant, it reminded me of being next to the ocean. The treatment was surprisingly effective! I felt much better when I left, and the immune/respiratory boost actually lasted several days! I had the same effect when my second treatment. They also offer massages, and while I have not had one, apparently Ben the masseuse is amazing. Sandi (sp?) Offers facials and waxing. A really unique & awesome place! My boyfriend (who flew in from Florida) scheduled us a couples massage for my birthday. We got a call from Ben early on the day of our massage that the other therapist cancelled bc the weather was terrible but Ben managed to find another massage therapist which we were incredibly greatful for! About 1/2 way through my bf started snoring needless to say we both thoroughly enjoyed our massages. Ok, so this is halotherapy. Never heard of such a thing? Well, neither had I, but as someone with immune system issues, I had heard of salt water being used as therapy, and when I saw a groupon deal for the Salt Room, I thought, why not? I've been twice so far, and both experiences were outstanding. The owner, Ben, couldn't be nicer and is very thorough in explaining what halotherapy is (besides being used to treat skin problems like psoriasis and excema, it is used for COPD, asthma, allergies, autism, and common colds), which I appreciate. The reception area is open and inviting. The "salt room" is literally a room covered in salt - floors, walls, ceilings, everything. It's very fun. You can sit on a chair or lie on a massage table and let the salt (being pushed into the air through a device located in the next room) work its magic. There is soothing music being piped into the room, and muted lights that create a really calming and relaxing environment. I also REALLY appreciated that after my first visit, I mentioned that I had gotten a little chilly, and so on my second visit - the heat was a little higher. LOVE good customer service. There are also massages available, though I haven't tried that service yet, but if it's half as good as the halotherapy, you won't be disappointed. read more

Ben, the owner, is such a pleasure to work with, he is such a strong and kind person. Not only can you get a massage but you can have it done in the salt rooms which are so incredibly relaxing! The Salt Room is truly a magic place! Sandie is an absolute gem! I saw the haleotherapy offer on Groupon and went in with my husband for a chair massage in the salt room. We both felt amazing afterwards. So relaxing and we were both breathing better after. We loved it so much and Sandie made us both feel so welcome and special, I decided to bring my mom back. I posted about it online and my friend and her daughter wanted to come too. So we all 4 went. They loved it too and my mom's bad sinus problems were immediately alleviated! She couldn't believe the benefits! Sandie heard me talking about her sinuses and did a quick little peppermint oil treamtment on her that helped her tremendously! Mom and I just went back this weekend and I had a facial and eyebrow wax (second time) from Sandie. I cannot tell you how special and beautiful she made me feel! I was kind of disappointed in getting a 30 min massage. The $50 30 min massage in the salt room consisted of upper back only! Yep that is what he said. I think it was because I had a gift certificate someone had given as a gift. Spent $120, with tip on 2-30 minute upper back massages?!! Def not worth it. Since he focused on one location so much I was sore for a few days. The mall people even do a better job. Sry, won't be recommending to anyone. read more

I went yesterday for an hour massage with Ben in the Salt Room. He is a really nice guy, very laid back - which I enjoyed. My entire right side has been plaguing me for months, specifically from the hip down, affecting how I walk and has been very painful. After "kissing a lot of frogs", I feel like I finally found ONE. Ben is very well versed in massage, really getting in where my muscles needed release - knows more than just relaxation massage, but how to treat via trigger point, cranio-sacral and more. I'm very happy to have found him, so I booked another massage. Today one day after my massage in the salt room, my skin feels great and my breathing is good (can typically be congested).
