We had re-arranged our work day to be available when he arrived, so him being late caused problems. We booked the appointment for 3 bikes (1 gold, and 2 silver service packages). The technician arrived late and advised that the bikes should take 3 hours based on the service packages we chose. An hour and half later the technician advised he was done, and appeared to be in a rush to leave. He advises that the bikes are all in great working order and nothing needs any major maintenance or to be replaced. This is not true, but that's besides the point. The services we paid for, over $600, were simply not completed properly. Careless, rushed work.

While I was walking my dog, I ran into Alex and his Velofix van 1 block from my house. He was…read moreworking on one of my neighbour's bikes. I told him that one of the shifters on my bike would not click (i.e. shift). I had previously taken the whole shifter apart, soaked it in kerosene, doused it with WD-40, reassembled it, and it still would not click. Alex pointed out that my bicycle's bell was so close to the shifter that its strap was under the shifter and causing the problem. Who knew? I expected him to charge me, but he did not, which was another bonus. Apart from making me feel stupid (which was probably an inevitable part of the process) it could not have been a better experience.

Rize Bikes - Compare it to a 50" TV -- should a customer carry this alone, or should proper help be provided?

If you care about how people are treated, stay far away from Rize Bike…read more I bought an e-bike from them and what followed was humiliating. * A rude delivery guy dumped the 98lb box in the lobby and mocked my body when I said I have a heart condition and couldn't carry it. * One item was missing, but Rize Bike said: "Not our problem." * When I called, their so-called "manager" gave me two options:     1. Return it and lose 15%, or     2. Take us to court. No apology. No accountability. And now they're pretending they use FedEx/Canada Post when they actually send random vans with unprofessional people. This wasn't just bad service. It was inhumane. Don't support businesses that treat customers like garbage.

Fixie single spd by Rize eBikes Order #U13266…read more Updated review: 6/20/25: Hub motor failed on the bike, after less than 2 yrs of light use. Rize bike would not help in any way!! DO NOT BUY a Rize bike!!! They will fail and you'll get zero support from the company. Also paint is thin and scratches / chips super easy, the head light failed on this bike as well... Again low miles and less than 2 years old. Zero warranty help, and rude customer service-bro's!! Had to sell bike for parts, pennies on the dollar due to defective motor. My original review on Superhuman Ebike website from 1/8/23: Take a look at the Fixie by Rize eBikes, its a great bike too, but at a lower price and very comparable to Baby Maker 2. My family owns the two brands and they're both excellent light weight single speeds. Date of experience: January 08, 2023 Date of experience: June 20, 2025
