The Rusty Nail has amazing drink specials, as well as specials on their wings, (the best wings I've ever had in my life) and they have something planned every night! They have open mic night, sometimes they have a dj, they even host trivia! Drag brunch on the weekends is so much fun too! When things warm up they also have outdoor sand volleyball! I love this bar! The bartenders are also the ones that make the food so be patient! They're doing their best to accommodate the guests at the bar as well as the kitchen orders!

Honestly, my expectations for the bar just from driving by it every day, were extremely low. I thought it might be a dirty, biker bar. So, we were kind of wary about what we were walking into when we went to watch the super bowl. BUT it's really clean and the service was great! They have good snacks and good prices and deals! They have so many games and cute bathrooms. The crowd skewed younger than I expected and no one made me uncomfortable. I actually really enjoyed myself! My ONLY cons were: - the audio during the super bowl kinda sucked, especially for the parts you wanted to hear like the halftime performance and the ads. I'm not sure how that can be fixed, but hoping it gets fixed before next year's super bowl. - the lock on the one working women's stall was broken

Karaoke and NASCAR, what a country! The Rusty Nail was a last minute stop after a night in downtown. This is a typical dive bar. Smokey, cheap drinks and ok bar food. The place was empty when we got here, but I could see this place being full on a Friday or Saturday. My buddy and I went with a few vodka sodas and on the bartenders recommendation, we got a plate of fried buffalo shrimp and fries. This plate of food was actually pretty good! The shrimp were spicy and crispy and the fries were very fresh. There's a smoking section outside, but they leave the doors open and the smell creeps in. This was annoying and I can only imagine how smokey it gets on a busy night. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back here, but it's an ok option for a starter drink before heading elsewhere or a night cap!

This is the rude mutherfucker

Great night that I was there. It was an event night with hip hop and rnb so I had a blast to say the least but one in particular bartender with the long hair and pony tail with a sleeve and other tats seem to just be lazy AF and rude. I still had a great night and recommend even tho I was informed that the hip hop and rnb night was only that night.

Such a hidden gem! From the outside you wouldn't think much of the place but wow does it have character once you step inside. They have two full bars; one indoor and one outdoor. They have outdoor volleyball, pool tables, darts, live music, and much more when it comes to entertainment. Very reasonable drink prices with different drink deals every day. Lots of fun moonshine options too! Bartenders were super friendly. I will definitely be back.

Chicken tenders with actual potato chips

Ehhhh, I mean I'm sure they're not known for their food and all but, it's typical bar food. Nothing that makes it special. I came on a Sunday afternoon only bc my sister was playing volleyball. I would've never expected this place to have a sand volleyball court in the back of their bar. You walk in through the front and it's a little dark & sketchy. Definitely a dive type bar, but you continue walking through the side and you'll get to sunlight. I had a couple Jameson and sprites and ordered their chicken tenders. I like that they use actual potatoes for their potato chips, but it would've tasted better if they weren't soggy. Or maybe they're supposed to be served like that...who knows. I would prefer a tad crispier. The tenders were ok. After two pieces, I had enough. It was mainly full of breading. Again, I only came bc my sister was here. Maybe I'll be back if I decide to pick up volleyball that way I can drink too.

The last time I came was a few months ago and I did online order for pickup as it was late and only thing available late at night. When we got there even though my order was confirmed and paid for online, the restaurant could find records of it. I showed them the screen shot of it and location so they just did a new order. They said they were having computer issues that night. We had to wait a lot longer too. When we got home I immediately had to call and ask for my money back. Some of the food was grossly cold (fries and the boneless wings) and they forgot to add a few things. Manager was nice and help me out. I only asked for the items that were cold and missing but they refunded the whole bill. I had to call again as the transaction did not show on my end and the manager said it was because of technical issues still. He was very polite, friendly and apologetic and that time it showed on my statement. Overall this place is a Buffalo Wild Wings...

I assumed they were short staffed and gave them the benefit of the doubt cause I know how annoying it is in the restaurant industry to do so. After sitting there for almost 15 minutes and countless glances from one of the servers and someone hiding in what looked like the service booth or something we just never got talked to not even by the server that told us to sit anywhere. There was also a table of 4 that came in way after us and immediately got service they seemed familiar with one of the servers but I'm not to sure it was just slightly irritating. Normally I don't write reviews good or bad cause it's just sometimes not worth it but this was like reallllyy baddd.

The Michigan game was on so we settled in to enjoy the game and our drinks. A different bartender stopped to converse with us about the game he took over serving our drinks. Our food arrived and we chowed down. The burgers and fries were decent size and the portions were great for the price. After our second round of drinks we called it a night. The venue of the place is full of different bands and two pools tables and a few arcade games are available for entertaining guests. Also I noted two dart boards, possibly a league or two is available at this place. Definitely a place to try on your next outing!

About 20 minutes for 2 people. They do have a cool text system so you know how long you've been waiting and where you are in the queue. Appreciated that. It was pretty warm out, and they had the big windows open, but there was no breeze, and we were inside in a corner. Our server came about 10 minutes after we were seated. He was very nice, but never refilled my empty water glass, and my hubby had to ask twice to get a 2nd beer. I ordered chicken tenders with a side of broccoli. I got fries. Fine, the universe wanted me to have more carbs. The food was ok. I think the food is a little more consistent at the Hendersonville location, but its like a cave in there, and I am not a bat. I don't think this is a great place to drive to for lunch. It would be pretty convenient if you're hungry and out on the lake. They have a fairly good sized courtesy dock and the boaters seemed pretty skilled at coming and going.

There was an issue with my order, and instead of any admission, apology, or attempt to resolve the situation, our server, Bailey H, argued with me about what I did or did not order. The behavior was rude toward me and toward another guest at our table. That guest is hard of hearing, and during the interaction, her credit card was aggressively snatched from her. This behavior was completely unacceptable. At no point was ownership taken, nor was there any acknowledgment that a simple miscommunication could have occurred. In addition to this, food items were missing, condiments were never brought out, and the overall service felt careless and dismissive. When the issue was brought to management, the immediate response was to ask what we wanted removed from the bill and to offer a gift card. While compensation was offered, there was still no apology, no admission of fault, and no acknowledgment of how the situation was handled. The response felt transactional rather than accountable and did not address the actual service failure. What made this more disappointing is that this server was referred to as "their best server." If that is the standard being presented, there is a clear gap in service expectations and accountability. Mistakes happen. Refusal to take responsibility, rude behavior toward guests, and attempts to resolve issues without acknowledgment or apology should not. This was a very unpleasant way to start the new year and was entirely avoidable with basic professionalism.
