Grain of salt they are new and likely need to get into their groove. But the line was long to order food and drinks at the bar. But the red light effect makes it a cool bar. Once you get your drinks and food it's not too bad. Thankful for a new neighborhood bar.

The red door experience hits Donelson! Expect the same sort of food and energy as the other locations. Spacious as well.

Great service. Good selection of both food and drink. Takes a little getting used to since the bartenders are the wait staff.

Good service, good food, cheap drinks and open late night. Definitely a good addition to the Donelson area.

Nestled along the Delta Atrium, this lively tavern feels worlds away from a convention hotel. With outdoor patio seating overlooking the indoor waterways and lush gardens, I kept forgetting I was inside a resort. The atmosphere reminded me of the River Walk in San Antonio--relaxed, energetic, and full of people enjoying good food, good drinks, and good conversation. This became one of our favorite places to unwind. The bartenders were welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun. Whether you stop in for a local Tennessee bourbon, a craft beer, or one of their signature cocktails, you'll feel right at home. Our group shared nearly everything on the snack menu, and that's absolutely the way to experience it. The house-cured beef jerky was tender, savory, and layered with soy, ginger, black pepper, and just enough chili flake to keep you reaching for another bite. The "Caviar of the South" pimento cheese lived up to its Southern nickname. Rich buttermilk cheddar blended with roasted pimentos, served with crisp house-made crackers that disappeared almost immediately. The candied pecan-crusted bacon planks struck that perfect balance of smoky, salty, and sweet. They're indulgent in all the right ways. The crunchy spicy garlic pickles were bright, crisp, and refreshing, offering a welcome contrast between the richer bites. The crispy black-eyed peas were addictive. Lightly seasoned with sea salt and barbecue spice, they were one of those snacks everyone kept grabbing handfuls of without realizing it. And don't skip the chocolate pecan brittle. The hickory-smoked caramelized cocoa nibs gave it a wonderful Southern twist that made a simple sweet finish feel memorable. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was how comfortable the entire experience felt. No one hurried us. The atmosphere encouraged conversation, laughter, and lingering over another round. If you're staying at Gaylord Opryland, don't assume you need to leave the resort to find a great place for drinks and shareable bites. American Craft Tavern delivers exactly the kind of casual gathering place every great resort should have. Grab a patio table, order several plates for the table, sample some Tennessee whiskey or a local craft beer, and simply enjoy the evening. Life is too short not to travel well and eat well. Sometimes your next favorite meal is waiting just a few steps from your hotel room.

It's definitely a throwback to a different time in American history as you enjoy cruising down the Cumberland River on a restored paddle boat as you head to downtown Nashville and back while enjoying a buffet dinner and musical show. You're encouraged to arrive early to the boat when purchasing your ticket and for those that arrive early there is a live band performing on the very top deck....once it's time for the dinner and show you'll move below deck into the theater/main dining room. Everyone has a designated table. We were seated towards the back and I'm so glad we were because with how loud the audio was I couldn't imagine sitting at one of the closer tables to the stage. For your meal, you being with a Ceasar Salad course prior to each table lining up to go to one of the buffet stations set up on either side of the dining room. The buffet consisted of a variety of items including their take on brisket (no bbq sauce is available on the whole boat btw), Tuscan chicken, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and more. As you near the downtown area, the buffet area will be shut down so you can enjoy the downtown skyline views at night while the servers place your dessert at your table. Our night we had a toffee cheesecake (that tasted old and like the cardboard box it had been sitting in for who knows how long). As for the show it takes you on a journey through the years of popular music that came out of Music City - Nashville. It was a good way to pass your dinner. All in all - none of the pieces of this experience by themselves was a standout but combined it made for an enjoyable (and different) way to pass an evening in Nashville.
