We recently moved to the Houston area from LA about three weeks ago for work, and we've been exploring different restaurants trying to find our new favorite spots. We came across this place because of the amazing reviews (I believe it was rated around 4.7 on Google), so we definitely came in with high expectations. They exceeded every single one. We ordered two plates knowing the portions were big and fully planned on taking half home... but the food was so good we both ended up finishing everything. Even after eating two big plates, we didn't leave feeling heavy ,just completely satisfied. The flavor was incredible, the presentation was beautiful, and you can tell there's a lot of care put into the food. The ambiance was a chill, welcoming vibe, and the staff at the cashier and everyone working there were super friendly, helpful, and genuinely took the time to talk with us and give great recommendations. We honestly wish we could rate this place higher than 5 stars. It exceeded our expectations and is easily a 10/10. We'll definitely be back soon. I am back for the second time this week! I tried this place for the first time on Monday and had to bring my husband today. The food is AMAZING and is so fresh and the service is great. The owner and employees are so nice. I love the mint lemonade (so refreshing) and the grape leaves are the perfect appetizer. I also got the Samosas as part of my meal even though they're considered appetizers (I got two chicken and two beef) and they are just fantastic. Also, the pistachio baklava is the best I've ever had!!!! I think it might be my new favorite place. read more

The hummus was the best I have had in years! We had the Kafta kabob, the lamb shawarma, the mix grill is the way to go, you get a bit of it all. The feta fries had soft salty feta and oregano, sumac I think and I know more in the blend I couldn't name; I ate the feta olive oil mix with a fork after the fries were gone. The service is kind, helpful and I could tell he likes the food they serve and it's made with care. It was beautifully on the plate but we ate it too quick to take a picture. Hands down one of the best Middle Eastern spots I've been to! I ordered the lamb and beef shawarma and the lamb kebob plate, and both were next-level good. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with flavor you can tell the meat is marinated the right way and cooked with care. Every bite was tender and rich without being greasy. The lamb kebob plate was just as impressive. The lamb was grilled perfectly, super tender, and full of that smoky, char-grilled flavor you hope for but don't always get. The portions were generous, and everything on the plate complemented the meat perfectly. On top of the food, the service was excellent friendly, welcoming, and quick without ever feeling rushed. Amazing food! Everything tasted great, fresh and authentic. It did take some time to come out but they told us that ahead of time and the food was worth the wait. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was because the food was pretty pricey and it mostly felt like a takeout place inside. Came across this Mediterranean restaurant not far from my side of town. They have a plates and sandwiches to choose from which include falafel, beef, chicken, & kofta. There's also a lot of sides like fries, tabouli, sfeeha, & baba ghanoush. It's a small space inside but you can dine in or get to go. The falafel plate that I had definitely matched the price & was very fresh. The falafel tasted like it just came out of the fryer. The hummus & pita bread were delightful as well as it came with tabouli & baba ghanoush. I would definitely come back. All of the staff were so nice and helpful. i was craving mediterranean food and decided to stumble into The Rush. i ordered the veggie samosas, chicken kabob plate and a frozen mint lemonade to wash it all down. the samosas were fried to perfection, not too greasy and very flavorful. the chicken kabob plate was amazing!!! the chicken was fresh and tender with the perfect amount of char. the rice melted in your mouth with how soft it was. the tabouli was very fresh. never had it before but i was eating it by the spoonful!! the hummus was SO good and creamy. my favorite thing about the plate, in my opinion. i didn't ask but i know it had to be made in house because it was that good! the frozen mint lemonade was not too bad either. i'd much rather it unfrozen but it was perfect amount of refreshing, sweet and tart. this place definitely exceeded my expectations and i'll definitely be back!!! 10/10 :) read more

The shawarama is good. Definitely better than any other mediterranean place in the Atascocita area. I also had the beef/lamb gyro wrap which was great. I'd say they have more of a traditional taste to everything. But I do want to say the kids chicken strips were disappointing.
