The triple ginger scone was the perfect pairing with the latte -- tender inside, lightly crisp outside, and warmly spiced without overpowering. They have a drive-through window, making ordering simple, and the easy access to and from the street is a definite plus. There's also plenty of parking. They use Big Train Chai, and the chai lattes they made for me were excellent. I've also tried their scones, which were delicious. The barista was very helpful and friendly, making for an overall great experience. I'll definitely keep this spot in mind for future travels.

March 2023 didn't make it to Moxie 33, but did go to Thunderbird Cafe in this same center, which was pretty good. 2023 trip was a group trip. On Thursday, 4/18/24, my friend reached out to me to try to get me & my girlfriend to buy any number of nights during the work week of 4/22, and it would probably be a private trip for just the 2 of us at that point. I ran by my g/f, which she was agreeable. On Friday, my manager was a bit annoyed by me requesting Thursday & Friday, 4/25-26 off work, but I had to do what I had to do to enjoy a nice private trip with my g/f to Massanutten. Experience with Moxie 33 on Thursday, April 25 & then one more time the next day: We walked in this beautiful, clean, large coffee shop with good lighting. The staff was very friendly and efficient with making the drinks. I think I got some latte drink. Wow, it was delicious, one of the best I've had! To be 100% honest, Crucible's coffee is better, but their pastry selection is minuscule and they can feel a bit stuffy. Reunion's pastries are good, though I wish they had more French-inspired things like pain au chocolat, croissants, or even soft cinnamon rolls, but I feel they excel more at the breads side of baking. I got a mini sourdough loaf once and it was excellent! Service is always friendly and happy, and the shop itself is cute, but there isn't much space inside. I'm all for tables outside, but there's not much real estate there either, especially on a busy morning. I think a small adjustment to flow could make it easily sit a couple cafe tables inside without it feeling so crowded. I just miss the days of being able to hang out and have good coffee and snacks while doing some work on a laptop. Seems like most businesses would rather have you out the door instead. I have high standards for bakeries and cafes, and Reunion meets most of them. They're now my favorite place to go in the mornings in Staunton... if they're open.
