They had a relatively low cost for cleaning stairs, as compared to many competitors. And they have some great methodologies built into the way they operate: 1. They have remained small to ensure that they offer the best service possible. 2. They will provide an estimate onsite before starting work to ensure that everyone is on the same page. 3. They only charge for what they clean (so they will not charge for room areas that are covered by furniture, for example) They charge primarily by sq ft, and Angie's List members get a very competitive price. What I really liked is knowing that Peter builds relationships with his clients so that many of them have him clean their rentals without being there themselves. My chairs were something I had my eyes on at my grandmothers house since I was a child. They've since been given to me and have lived with me for almost 10 years. They came to me with some rips in fabric, chewed up legs, and pervious terrible attempts at repairs on the legs and wobble arms. This was a project I wanted done years ago but I had to save up for. And it was worth it. The sentimental value exceeds the monetary cost (Michael deserves every Penny) and the 6-8 weeks of waiting. He rebuilt/repaired legs and arms, and reupholstered (beautifully) both chairs. So many fabrics to choose from. I tried to pick one that would compliment the chairs. BKB has a large selection of cabinets and countertops; all at very competitive price points that beat all other quotes we've received. Wendy has incredible vision and tons of experience working with Prefab cabinets so they can fit whatever weird dimensions your kitchen and bath may be. Built in the 70's with custom weird cabinets? No problem, she can mix and match her vast library of cabinets to fit your home perfectly. All the drawers are soft-close interlocking/dove-tailed real wood. The cabinets are high-quality veneered layered durable plywood (no MDF!!). The doors and faces are all real wood with VERY high quality painted surfaces by Sherman Williams. All the hardware are of great quality and very easy to maintain (hinges, rails). I was not expecting this level of quality and features at their price point they were asking for installed. Just Incredible. ---- Wendy came to our home to take measurements and she already had a vision in her mind of what the kitchen is capable of. She later produced an awesome 3D rendering of what it'll look like, and made several recommendations based off our budget. If she was a project manager in a large tech company, she'd be the best project manager ever. I work in defense and tech, and have dealt with many PMs in my career. Wendy is an absolute elite-level PM running her company and extremely skilled team. I've never seen a team of contractors/installers demolish and install an entire kitchen so fast. They were done in less than 4 days. 1 day demo, 2 days install, and the 4th day just little odds and ends. We had a functional brand new kitchen in less than 1 week!!!!!!!! ....and it all came right on budget exactly how much she said it'll cost, right on time, and meticulously & professionally installed with incredible attention to detail. She runs an incredible team and she's very passionate of her business and deserves all the praise ever. Of course there will always be scope-creep and adjustments as with any project. Wendy graciously worked with us throughout the process with suggestions, pros and cons, and how much every little thing will cost. Yet, even with a few more additions, we never went over our budget cap, and was always transparent how much every little thing costs. Whether if you just want to buy the vanity and cabinets yourself and do it yourself, or use her incredibly skilled and experienced install team, you just cannot go wrong doing business with Wendy and BKB. The job was large and he needed to be able to communicate with us so that no misunderstandings happened. He worked easily with our interior designer and we were very happy with his communication and people skills. We knew the cost and details of each aspect of the project. We made adjustments along the way, such as adding built-in shelving around the fireplace. He always told us upfront what the cost would be and how he would do it.
