My son was there 2 years and had Mrs. J and Mrs Lara and Mrs Kimberly. They were so sweet to him and everyday I dropped him off in the morning he would run inside all excited to see everyone. That right there meant more than anything to me. To see my child happy and excited to learn is such a positive way to start off the day. They also cooked healthy meals and had the menu posted of what they were serving. During summertime they had special activities which he LOVED. They ONLY thing my son would complain about is the nap time...he said it was too long and very boring. He is now almost 6 and he started kindergarden so we took him out of Kindercare. I plan on taking my daughter here when she turns 3. I think 3 is the perfect age to start them into this type of program. They do offer infant and toddler programs but I prefer a home babysitter for now. Other pluses about Kindercare - They are open 6am-6:30pm and they hardly every close during the year (only on main holidays) Unlike home babysitters where they tend to take more time off during the year, you can rely on kindercare to be open on those simple holidays that you have to still go into work. When it comes to portrait day, they always have really cute backgrounds for the kids to pose in and you can pick the ones you like best.

They send text reminders when it comes close to the date you set and easy rescheduling if need to be. Inside the classroom they followed COVID rules with 6 feet apart and modified the team skills so you can do individually but still hands on. The course instructor Connor was amazing. Very energetic and spoke clearly. He was easy to talk to if we had any questions. Definitely recommend and will be back in 2 years to renew.

We finished about 20 mins early. The only thing that we didn't get to do was operating the AED machine. I'm pretty familiar with AED machine coz my airline job provide BLS training every year, but I can imagine for some people, it's very new. The instructor show how to operate it live, and it was also in the video. The BLS card is valid for 2 years and I'm planning to renew mine in this location.

I enrolled my son in the infant room when he was just under six months and now he's almost two…read moreyears old. He LOVES it here and so do we. My son gets excited to go to "school" every day, and actually throws a tantrum if I come to get him before 5pm! He loves the routine and doesn't want to miss out on his afternoon outside play time with his friends. They do art every day, and every activity is thoughtfully planned with their development in mind. I live for the photos and updates that come through the KinderCare app every day. It gives me a glimpse into my son's day while he's away from me. The teachers really take the time to get to know your child. There are teachers who aren't even in my son's classroom who know him by name and greet him as we are walking in/out. The Director, Ms. Hope, is always friendly and knowledgeable about what's going on in the classrooms and with each child. Honestly, all the staff here is amazing. My son lights up when he sees his teachers and it just warms my heart and is all that much more reassuring that he's in a good place. I also love that the center organizes community events. We've met some of the other parents that way, and were even able to invite the grandparents to join us for the Fall Festival, which was nice. Unfortunately we are moving out of the area soon, but I am so in love with the KinderCare methodology that we have enrolled my son in another KinderCare near our new home. I wanted to say that I attribute much of my present success to the advanced education I received at this school. They really encourage children to learn at their own rate, accommodating those who learn faster and those who need extra help. Beth Marshall was my teacher for most of my years here, and I know she no longer works there, but I hope they still teach in that style. The way they let the parents and children set the child's own standards for grading, and have the child assemble their own portfolio and present is unique (as far as I know). We kids felt like we had some say in how we were being taught and had more interest in school than I think any kids in public school had. By the time I entered high school at Amador, the only classes that compared at all in quality were the honors and AP classes. Besides the outstanding education I received, I fondly remember the field trips, holidays, PE classes, electives (enrichment), meditation, etc. It was a very stimulating environment and I'm glad I got to experience it. I am giving 4 stars because I don't know if what I experienced as a child is still the norm for VMS now. For any who care to know, I am now pursuing my PhD in Molecular Bio at UCSD. How much is nature vs. nurture, and how much VMS contributed to the "nurture" aspect, I don't...but looking on Facebook at my VMS classmates, I can say that all of them seem to be thriving as well. Really though, it may be because all of their parents are brilliant and therefore have lucrative careers that allow for them to send their children to schools like this. I don't know. Directors, Diana and Stephanie, are doing awesome job to make the school as happiest place ever for kids. About 2 years ago my wife and I found this school by chance. We visited for tour, and we immediately enrolled our girls right after we had conversations with Ms. Diana, director and owner of the school, who was giving the tour. For us it was impressive she knows every details of individual kids. Staffs were also looking happy for their job, which was another important point for us when making decision. Staffs are friendly and kind, always be willing to help families of their students, which I sincerely appreciate. They communicate to each other very well, I can literally leave message to anyone or can hear about how my little one's day was from anyone. I also like the part that they bring in many kinds of events to the school rather than going on field trip. It is their strategy for safety. They regularly arrange visiting of fire fighters and kids just love it. Various activities make kids happier and families have full access to many events. They offer in-school birthday party for reasonable price which I had for my little ones. Sometimes during the weekend they offer child care for special days like Christmas shopping, or Thanksgiving preparation. They seriously care about their facilities. They don't let something remain in broken or dirt. I am very happy about it. As I know a sandbox in front yard is being covered for every night so kids can play with cleaner sand. They create a warm, welcoming environment where kids feel safe and excited to learn every day. I've seen so much growth and confidence in my 3-year-old daughter since starting here. A huge plus for us has been the onsite enrichment programs, like soccer and Spanish class, which means we don't have to spend our evenings driving around town for extra activities. Also, the live camera access is a much appreciated added bonus that our last daycare didn't have.
