The waiter no Chile burger, we are only severing breakfast, we don't sever lunch now. And I said sense when, and she we ever have. And the next table by us next order chili fries right after us. So we order breakfast. My daughter order 1 pancake and 1 egg, and she want order bacon with pancake, She said they can't make 1 pancake that have 2 pancakes. Wanted to eat here for years looking for a great hamburger experience, so disappointed. I ordered Roza Rancher Deluxe w/cheese, fries and an order of onion rings. First was the onion rings, so soggy with oil it was un-edible. Second up was the fries, barely cooked and soggy. Thirdly a nice looking burger, no flavor. The only way I could tell it had bacon was the texture of the bacon itself. My wife had the taco salad. The shell was soggy and lacked any taco flavor. Our order was over $35. The only thing that was actually edible was the burger which I had to add my own condiments and salt to have any flavor. $35 failed experiment. I'll stick with McD's. At least I know what I am paying for. read more

We happened upon Roza grill while we were down in Prosser running a few errands. Monday was the day that many of the other restaurants were closed so we were happy that this place was open. But we found was a very quaint old-school diner that had some lovely surprises. Upon walking in there was probably seatingfor 40 people and at least a dozen of the seats were filled with folks that looked to be regulars. Not the type of regular where they come in there every so often, the type of regular where the waitress knows what they're going to order and if they order something different and asks if they're feeling OK. It lends itself to a nice vibe! My better half was in the mood for a burger and dined on the mushroom and Swiss. Pretty standard burger, but the mushrooms looked to be real add the cheese was good, so it definitely fit the bill. In looking through the menu one item caught my eye very quickly... The chicken waffle club. As the name would imply this is literally a club sandwich with bread made out of waffles and then topped with layers of chicken, egg, cheese and bacon. I really appreciated that there was cheese in between each slice of waffle, it made for a delightful experience! I really appreciated that the waffles were ones that had actually been made on a waffle iron rather then frozen ones. A+ for not doing the cheap route. The thing won't strike you as a culinary masterpiece, but it's definitely something unique and worth trying out. Our little gentleman shared a kids meal which came with ample fries and a couple chicken strips that were quite good. For five dollars it was well worth it. All said and done, the creativity gets them the five star bump. This is the sort of place that you step into and immediately love. First of all food was above fair, and reasonably priced. The people pleasant. My waffle chicken club was great and ample. Don't recommend. I ordered eggs Benedict and it had no hollandaise sauce and they put sliced melted cheese on the thinly sliced ham under my eggs. I'm dairy free so I couldn't even eat half the meal. They didn't even season my eggs. And the eggs were not poached they were just fried eggs. I guess I shouldn't expect much from a small town. read more

The food was good but our waitress was rude. The newest person there was the nicest and had great conversation. My husband and I knew and felt our waitress did not want to serve us. Fun little diner right across from the airport. It's as busy as it can be with the Balloon Rally Happening across the street but they are HUSTLING! Spanish omelet was great, as was the ham & cheese. Fun crowd and loved sitting at the counter to watch all the magic happening. read more

The food is always good and so is the service. The only issue is that the cook/owner feels the need to constantly verbally berate her employees loudly. This place is a tradition for my Highland games competitors for years. It is always great to come in here and feel like one of the locals, and that is what you will see here on a Saturday morning...trucks lined up and local guys standing around chit-chatting waiting for the place to open at 7AM. These are the old-timers..the ones with great stories who have known each other for decades. One guys dad was chief of police in the 20's, another couple guys went to high school in the 30's. There is even a cool older guy who will eat mustard by the spoonful and you can watch (mustard relieves cramps by the way). So yea, the atmosphere is what makes this place. The staff have ALWAYS been super friendly, the food is traditional fare for a diner..plenty and hearty. Nothing fancy here and that is the allure of it. Like you are still in small America in the 50's just having breakfast with friends and family. Visit them..watch the crowd..talk with people...and don't be afraid to get your own coffee if the staff is busy but if you do, be kind and offer to refill every ones cup. read more

Waited for just short of half hour in the car for our order. Got our food and drove somewhere else to eat it. My monte Christo was soaked all the way through with rancid tasting grease. So much grease that it was dripping off the sandwich. Probably weighed 2 lbs, and had very little meat filling. We also got eggs Benedict that was swimming in an inch deep of water-thin sauce . It spilled all over when I went to open it. The food was so bad that we drove to another restaurant , threw it all away in the garbage and ate at the second place. My dog wouldn't even eat it, that's how bad it was. I've never ordered a $30 meal and then just thrown it straight in the trash like that. :(. The cook was the only good thing about this place, and the only reason we got any service at this restaurant. The waitress didn't give us menus, napkins, or waters, and threw our check down in front if us when it was time to pay. After I tried to pay she's Walks in front of us many times before she finally picked it up and let me pay for the food. Once she was giving me the receipt with the option to put a tip in, she was literally staring at me and the receipt while I was deciding what to tip her like she deserved anything. WOW, a small town restaurant "diner-like" place serving up GREAT BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FARE. Kind of took me back to my younger days. Three of us, just visiting Prosser area for a few days at their many wineries had looked unsuccessfully for a good breakfast place the first two days, then.....we FOUND IT HERE. Nice, bright, many windows, friendly environment. Some outdoor seating too. Chicken fried steak and eggs plate with a biscuit and hash browns was great and my wife loved their pancakes and bacon. Our friend had some sort of croissant sandwich plate with 'tots that she liked. (The omelets at other tables looked good too.) Food was delivered promptly and hot. Our attentive waitress was super friendly as was the other staff that we interacted with. This has to be the best breakfast place in town....and they open at 6AM, I believe. :-) read more

We are passing through and this place was recommended at the nearby wine country RV park. Nice salad bar and great fruit cup you can get with a meal or alacarte. Pile up fruit cup if with the meal because it is not refillable and the bowl is small. Croissant breakfast sandwich and French toast eggs, sausage were very good. When I walked in, the place was FILLED. We were able to snag a couple seats at the bar counter. The waitstaff had a lot going on so I didn't expect immediate service, I only saw one cook so I didn't expect top notch food(especially because the prices were so cheap!). My oh my, did they exceed my expectations! My daughter got a fruit cup. They had a little salad bar area where you can choose the fruit that you prefer! I LOVED THIS! Being that my child is extremely picky, having the option to select just strawberries and watermelon definitely made her a happy camper! I got a Western Omelette with hash browns. Not only was it delicious; but it was so quick considering there were many tables ahead of me, I was prepared to wait much longer. I recommend! She even buys Dr Pepper just for my husband and mother-in-law. They take the time to get to know their customers. I would give them 10 stars if I could. They know everybody by name. It is sometimes hard to find a place open for breakfast in Prosser so we figured to give this place a shot. 4 eating, two adults and two children Adult 1- eggs and bacon. Bacon was ok hash browns needed salt. Ordered eggs over medium and yolk was solid. Left disappointed. Adult 2- eggs and bacon. Everything needed salt. Child 1- waffle with strawberry and whip. He liked it. Child 2- pancake and eggs. Only took a couple bites. Pancake description said buttermilk but it was very thin. After we ordered for the kids they then told us they had a kids menu which was never brought to the table. Will probably not return. This is my first visit . I ordered chicken fried steak breakfast. The food had a unusual smell when I received it and the food tasted exactly as it smelled. The food was a bit over cook for my liking. For a $17 breakfast I did not get as much as I thought I should have received Plus The Taste was not very good. I was hungry so I did complete the meal. Coffee was good and waitress was very helpful. The bathroom could use a cleaning. Other customers were enjoying Burgers there and commented how much they enjoyed them. Just had one of the best breakfasts of my life. I've been stuck in bed all week with the flu and just starting to feel better with a need for real food. Had a hankering for pancakes with bacon and eggs and this place did not disappoint. The pancakes were hot and fluffy and generous proportions. The coffee was hot, strong and a bottomless cup. OMG.
