The staff was very welcoming and the restaurant seemed clean. 5:00 on a Thursday and there was only one other table with people. As to be expected from a small-town eatery. The salsa was a tad spicier than we normally find for table chips and salsa, but good. The chips weren't very big and a lot of them were broken up. I had a burrito asado with a horchata and my wife had a chicken chimichanga. They are both fine. Not great, not bad. I did like the whole beans though. The portion sizes were huge. The horchata tasted a bit more 'watery' than I like. Not a bad experience for a small town.

Ordered carne asada fries as an appetizer, it came out after several entrees. Fries were crinkle cut (from frozen?) and were not crispy. Meat and toppings were tasty. I got through less than half when my party was done eating. The menudo was clean and fairly spicy (I love spicy food and added their chili oil), overall good flavor.
