I just wanted to let everybody know what my experience was and has been here at the Rose featherwood, I got my mammogram in June of 2023, I have been trying to get an ultrasound Bob seed review since then and had been unable to had been getting the runarounds. I have no idea what made Maria o. From the rose call me out of the blue this woman called me and when I explained to her what had been going on, within a day I had got all my reports imaging and everything all together and submitted them to the Rose for a biopsy review this was less than a day people. I cannot express the gratitude that I have for this lady helping me as a matter of fact the whole staff at the Rose is so much on top of their assignments, things that they have to get done with their patients and everything else every single person that I have came in contact with have been such a blessing to me. I don't know if anyone knows but it is so scary when you have been told that you have a mass in your breast and can't get anyone to listen to you. Thank you Maria O. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Rose. I was told I needed an imaging order before scheduling, so I went through telehealth to obtain one. After getting that, I was then told the order had to be worded a very specific way. I corrected that and obtained the updated order, only to be told AGAIN that it still wasn't acceptable because it did not include both breasts--even though my concern is in one breast. This process has been confusing, inconsistent, and unnecessarily stressful while I am trying to get evaluated for a breast mass. Clear, accurate instructions should have been provided from the beginning instead of repeatedly changing requirements and delaying care. For a facility that serves patients dealing with serious and time-sensitive health concerns, this lack of clear communication is unacceptable. Patients should not have to navigate multiple barriers just to get an appointment. read more

On April 20th, I called this location to make an appointment and spoke with Esther who refused to help and wouldn't make an appointment for my mammogram even though I informed her that I was having pain on the right side. I then had to call back 3 times to leave a message for the supervisor Katia Sanchez. Katia eventually called me and I made an appointment for April 24th. I arrived for my appointment on time at 1PM and about 16 minutes later I asked the lady in window No. 2, she had brown wavy/curly hair pinned up and I believe she's Latina but not wearing a name the or didn't see a nameplate on her desk. I said excuse me do you know how long the wait is and before I could finish my question she interrupted me rolled her eyes and said you need to wait until I call you. She seemed bothered that I asked her anything and she didn't have anyone at her desk but she was too busy on her personal cell phone to be bothered with my question. I said okay you don't have to be rude and she replied well you need to wait. I went back to this same RUDE unprofessional lady and told her just cancel my appointment and I left the office. I rearranged my workday and I'm in pain and need a mammogram and this is how the Rose treats their patients. Omw back to work I called and left a message with Deborah for Katia Sanchez to call me and that was at 1:30PM on April 24th and still no returned call from Katia. I have now wasted a few days with the Rose and hopefully find a place this week to have my mammogram. The Rose needs to do better and they can respond to this review but actions speak louder than words!! read more

I needed a mammogram but don't have insurance and don't qualify for free services. It cost me $235. Everyone was friendly and professional. This place is a Godsend for those of us that aren't fortunate enough to have health insurance. read more

I am so glad others have had better follow up than me. Bar none this has been the most stressful operation I have ever encountered. It took a week to get an appointment by phone. No answer, no call back and disconnected twice. Finally get to appointment and was sent home due to no records. However the records were shared 3 days ago and these people after rescheduling me now have found the records. A circus. Changing providers. The record department obviously didn't even look for the images shared. Took me coming back to have them download records. read more

Although I have health insurance, my insurance does not cover preventative health procedures of any kind, only diagnostic. It's difficult to get health care providers to understand this. Every time when I speak to doctors offices they question if I really know what my insurance covers. It leaves me in a position to have to pay a cash price for a necessary mammogram. I had spoken to two different people at the Rose who gave me two different responses about the amount I would be responsible for paying. The first person told me I would not have to pay anything, a second person later called me and told me I would be responsible for paying 354.00 which I could not afford currently. I called this morning to cancel my appointment for tomorrow and was fortunate enough to reach Michaela Washington. She was extremely kind, listened patiently to me and said she would look into some things and contact me back this afternoon. When she called me back, she had a more reasonable price for me and even informed me of an option to split payments over 3 months. This makes all the difference to me, because I cannot proceed with my other health care treatments until I have my mammogram. Thank you Michaela Washington for taking the time to listen and helping me find an option that can work for me. You truly went above and beyond. You have amazing customer service skills and I can hear your thoughtfulness through the phone. The Rose has an asset in you as an employee and I am very grateful that you answered the phone when I called today. read more

I came here as part of my annual well check and as recommended by my PCP. I got in about 5 mins early and there's a bunch of ladies sitting in the waiting area. I wrote my name on the check in sheet and sat back. I got called about 5 minutes after and sat with the billing. I filled up some papers and this lady sounded like a robot. Anyway, i was told to sit back in the waiting room again. I guess insurance covered this visit because she didn't charge me anything. Another 5 mins and I was called in to get settled in the facility. The lady walked me up to a dressing room with lockers. It's pretty neat they have lockers to store our clothes and stuff while they're doing the mammogram. I sat down for another 5 mins and I got called inside the room where the machine is. The lady asked routine questions she ALSO sounded like a robot - seriously!! What the heck is wrong with these people?! Then the scan started. My oh my... I don't remember having my boobs squeezed freakinly hard I felt like she's trying to squish the life out of it! Good thing it didn't last long! But man, my poor boobies. I was literally screaming and cussing in my head! But I held it in knowing I needed to get over this QUICK! As y'all would've guessed, as soon as this was over, I left the place in a hurry! read more

My experience at The Rose was a positive one from start to finish! I love the fact they offer free valet parking! It's a shame more medical offices don't implement that as well! Make sure to tip the valet! He was very friendly and professional! My doctor sent over a referral and I was called the next day to schedule an appt. The appt. was for the next week and not a month away like most doctor appointments. They suggested I arrive 30 minutes prior to my appt. Upon arriving, I was checked in through a hospital like registration process with chairs on one side of the main desk and individual cubicles. I waited in the main waiting room about 5-7 minutes then was called back by a tech that provided a locker and changing room. I then waited in another waiting area about 10 minutes before being taken to the mammogram room. The two techs performing the mammogram were very caring, gentle and professional! I waited for around 5-7 minutes after the mammogram before the ultrasound. That tech definitely could have been a little friendlier. She seemed cold but still professional. The doctor on staff is a nice addition! No waiting around for weeks after the tests to hear results from your doctor. You are able to learn the results during your appointment! The doctor that read my results to me was friendly and seemed to have a sensitive bed side manner. I was back in my car a little over an hour after arriving. I never felt rushed and was made to feel comfortable throughout the entire experience (except with the ultrasound tech). Overall the experience was pleasant. It had always been good in the past. The last two years I had it done in PCP's office. I asked my new PCP referred me back to The Rose and I had been put on hold forever for the third time. I have insurance to cover all my visits in the past and could go anywhere else but I thought this would help the clinic and others so I opted to come back. I had my annual mammogram in November 2020 unfortunately there was a suspicious area but to have diagnostic testing I would have to wait until February 2021 before I could be tested. I contacted my PCP to refer me somewhere else. I am thankful I did because it was breast cancer. I had surgery prior to February 2021, which is the time The Rose would have seen me. I am currently having radiation and other procedures needed. I still gave The Rose three stars because they did find the problem area. I am just disappointed that they could not do the follow up for over two months. Please if anyone cannot get diagnostic testing go somewhere else. I understand with Covid everything has changed at all facilities but I expected better at The Rose. **This shows I am in California but I am actually in Pasadena, TX. read more

Up until today I've always loved The Rose! It is time for my annual Mammogram but they REFUSE TO SEE ME unless I pay for a diagnostic mammo and ultrasound. My last test last year required a diagnostic and ultrasound after the regular mammogram was inconclusive. So I went, got a bill for $600 dollars shortly after. The results of that test were fine, no issues. They wanted me to come back 6 months later and do it again FOR ANOTHER $600. I didn't go!! Now it's time for my annual and they refuse to see me unless I do all of it again for another chunk of change. I don't understand this! Why not give me my mammogram covered by my insurance and THEN, If necessary do the rest? read more

Arrived an hour early. We weren't sure how long it would take us to get here from the Willowbrook area. The last time I was here was in 2000 and I really don't remember much about that visit. Pulling up I can tell you the grounds are well kept and welcoming. Very pleasant to look at. Peaceful even. I need that. I hate these annual mammograms. Does anyone like getting their boobs flattened to pancake size? We signed in, expecting a long wait since we were so early. The waiting room was crowded, but no, that was not to be the case. Even though the VA Hospital had screwed up and NOT sent over the paperwork authorizing my exam (which the staff at The Rose quickly took care of for me), I was called back within 10 minutes of my arrival. The technician must've sensed my trepidation. I mentioned to her that I had had some previous abnormal mammograms in the past so she was very thorough in her exam. I was out of there before my scheduled appointment time. The staff was caring, attentive and everything you would hope that someone you go to for something as uncomfortable as a mammogram would be. read more

The best experience for my first and way over due mammogram. The doctors were the most caring and sincere I have ever encountered. I enjoyed my whole experience there. During my pre exam and education time, I learned a lot and never felt scolded or guilty, just cared about. This is the place to go for breast health. read more

I have been coming here for the last 5 yrs and have had only one bad experience. Implants. Mammograms. Not a good combo anyway BUT today I had a tech named Donna, best. Experience. Ever. I am very disappointed that I am been trying to collect my refund check since September 2020. My appointment was back on 7/30/2020, they collect the money right away. My insurance told me I over paid for this service, so I am been calling this people and they are giving me many excuse and excuse for issue my refund check. I don't understand why this is so difficult or what is the intention.(keep my money?,or me to give up and forget about it, so they keep it). I offered to fax over my insurance documents and at the beginning the lady Veronica said by law they need to wait for the documents arrive to them, then she said: we need to wait at the end of the year, then she said: I see the notes: I don't know if they issued the check or they are going to. I will have them to call you. I called on 8/1/2020, 9/14/2020, 11/20/2020,1/12/2021, 2/25/2021. I spoke to Veronica, Jacky, Angie, Carrie. Nobody is doing anything about it. I want my money. They were kind enough. However, if you go to this location WITH insurance, they will add exams and tests you don't need in order to charge your insurance EXTRA. That's how they make their money and pay for others who have no insurance. Which to me, is robbery and a scam. read more

It's breast cancer awareness month and The Rose at Featherwood and Galleria location is known for the place to go for breast exams and cancer screening. They claim for every woman who has insurance they will help another woman who doesn't have insurance nor the money to pay. I have seen them discriminate they choose who qualifies for that program. Please don't go to "The Rose". It's not the place to go for service since they discriminate. Please go somewhere else to have your mammograms and ultra sounds. read more

I arrived at The Rose today at 12:35 for an 1:00 appointment for a mammogram and bone density test. I signed in and took a seat in the waiting room. As I sat there I noticed other women arriving and they are given clipboards and forms to fill out. I wasn't given a clipboard. After about 10 minutes I was called to a side area and they asked me questions and I completed a couple of forms, I went back to the waiting area where I was called for my appointment after about 5 minutes. I was escorted to a dressing area to change into a smock and to lock my clothes and purse into a locker and then I took a seat in a waiting area with the other "smock-clad women". After about 15-20 minutes it was my turn for my mammogram. The technician was very nice, asked more medical history questions and explained the procedure thoroughly. After the mammogram I went back to the to the dressing area to wait for my bone density test. That wait was about 10-15 minutes. The bone density test took about 10 minutes and then I changed back into my clothes and went back to the front desk as instructed by the staff. When I got to the front desk they asked for my name and checked their computer, then I was told "that's it, you can go". I looked at the clock ... 2:08. Not bad for a 1:00 appointment and 2 tests. The facility was nice, plenty of seating in the waiting areas and clean. The staff was very polite and smiling the whole time. I really liked that both technicians told me what they were doing and what the machines were doing during the tests. The Rose has complimentary valet parking, free of charge. I wish I had used it because when I came out of the building it was pouring rain. I got soaked to the bone getting to my car. No problem ... I've dried out ... but I'll probably valet park next time. read more

I went to the Rose center on SW fwy S. Arrived on time, but waited an hour before being seen. No magazines or TV available in the waiting room. Not the equipment I was to use but other equipment was malfunctioning and those people who needed that were waiting even longer than I. The person who did the procedure seemed competent and lovely, but the whole experience left a lot to be desired. Will seek a different facility for my next mamogram. read more
