I went into the emergency room with severe abdominal pain and the staff got me in with 30 minutes even the ED was full - they recognized that I was in severe pain. I was the admitted to the surgical unit and prepped for surgery. My surgeon showed up at 11:00PM!! And I was in the operating room within 15 minutes. They saved my life! I would recommend this hospital to anyone in the Southeast Harris Co area and beyond. Everything the medical center can offer, they can do as well, except heart surgery.

Thankfully, she placed a referral and when I arrived for my appointment on a rainy morning, I was greeted with all smiles and a quick check in. I was given a white bracelet and sat in the less crowded lobby watching Bobby Flay on the television. Within 30 seconds, I was being called out. I met with sonographer, Arianne, she was extremely kind, personable, knowledgeable, and put me at ease. She explained everything and couldn't tell me the outcome, despite knowing it. The procedure was quick and I was out in a jiffy! I was told that the results would be posted immediately on MyChart. Low and behold, they were and it happily I wasn't diagnosed again with a double whammy health condition. I didn't want to be, but I definitely want to be more safe than sorry. The clinic is immaculate and organized. A huge parking lot with plenty of slots. It is attached to the UT Health building next door.

Both will blame each other shamelessly. Over to my case- My PCP asked me to do a CT (with couple of years of liberty) and Memorial Herman imaging (MH) called me saying that they got my imaging request from PCP and asked for insurance details. I provided and next thing happened is got a call from them to schedule the appointment by saying that " Cigna has Verified and Authorized this scan and you don't have any financial commitment". Poor me believed this and went to the scan. Scanning day same dialogue after verifying my medical card. All good and went to scan. After 3 weeks i got a shocker bill of nearly 1K plus another radiology bill of around $100. WTH.. Now the mafia started their blame game. I talked to the MH Billing and preservice center and came to know that my insurance denied bill partially and hence the due. When I called Cigna they says MH very well knows that there would be patient's part on payment and they are not sure why MH mentioned "No financial commitment". Immediately, I raised a dispute claim with Cigna and you know what - after a week onwards I got "Silent junk call" with voice message to contact MH (4 times) plus multiple bills due reminders both from MH and radiology. I again contacted MH and Cigna and same blame again and again. Though MH is the culprit which I believe to make my scan at their center with false commitment, they are not even ready to even make any talks with me. Completely FRAUD firm. Cheating everyone to get their business. Eventually I need to make the payment.. Not recommended to anyone!! BE always careful in dealing with this mafia firm..

The best part of the experience were the sonographers. I enjoyed chatting with them and the conversation they held was perfect for keeping your mind off of what was going on. I found myself still wanting to chat with them as I was leaving but my appt was over and I had to go, lol. The front desk staff was also super polite and helpful. Everyone had great temperaments for dealing with a diversity of patient health issues.

The pain is so bad in my head that I'm shivering to death and there are no blankets, no pillows, no way to control the TV , and no way to control the lights. And I'm paying for this?....WoW!!! I have no idea what made Maria o. From the rose call me out of the blue this woman called me and when I explained to her what had been going on, within a day I had got all my reports imaging and everything all together and submitted them to the Rose for a biopsy review this was less than a day people. I cannot express the gratitude that I have for this lady helping me as a matter of fact the whole staff at the Rose is so much on top of their assignments, things that they have to get done with their patients and everything else every single person that I have came in contact with have been such a blessing to me. I don't know if anyone knows but it is so scary when you have been told that you have a mass in your breast and can't get anyone to listen to you. Thank you Maria O. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Rose. I was told I needed an imaging order…read morebefore scheduling, so I went through telehealth to obtain one. After getting that, I was then told the order had to be worded a very specific way. I corrected that and obtained the updated order, only to be told AGAIN that it still wasn't acceptable because it did not include both breasts--even though my concern is in one breast. This process has been confusing, inconsistent, and unnecessarily stressful while I am trying to get evaluated for a breast mass. Clear, accurate instructions should have been provided from the beginning instead of repeatedly changing requirements and delaying care. For a facility that serves patients dealing with serious and time-sensitive health concerns, this lack of clear communication is unacceptable. Patients should not have to navigate multiple barriers just to get an appointment.
