Honestly, the facility is fine. It's exactly what you would expect from a medical facility. The counter cannot help you make an appointment. You must now do all of those things online however, the receptionist was helping people on their personal phones to make appointments online. It's a fully automated check-in processis also accessible to blind people. This facility seems to be completely slammed all of the time after talking with my nurse. There were people in the lobby who I've been waiting all day because they had no appointments. I had an appointment at 12:20 and I did not go back until 12:50. Once again, the staff at the Fairmont location in Pasadena, TX, were outstanding. The tech, (I think her name was Saweta?) was able to painlessly and quickly draw blood from my notoriously difficult left arm, which even the pros at MD Anderson have never been able to do. I was in and out in minutes. Harold greets everyone at the door and monitors check-in with excellent customer service. He puts everyone at ease. The facility is clean and comfortable. I make appointments online, so I never have to wait more than a few minutes. I don't understand the low overall score for this location. Everyone has always been friendly, professional and courteous. Compared to the other two locations I had to drive to today, this one was the worst. No staff present despite it being a ghost town. The locations doesn't offer urine drug tests, but there's no indication of that anywhere posted on the website or at the building. You have to drive there and waste your time and fuel, check in, and THEN discover they can't help you. They just refer you to scan a code or visit the website which says THEY DO offer urine testing... how does a company have so many inconsistencies? Terrible place my 2 year old needed to have blood drawn and yes I understand it's hard enough on a small child but when a second nurse comes in and get the job done right away makes me feel like the staff isn't trained properly and can't do there job correctly. I only scheduled at the Fairmont location because the Space Center is not showing up on the app most of the time, even though it's closer. We had a scheduled appointment and since there was no handicap parking I had to drop off my very, elderly mom. She was having some difficulty logging in on the iPad with no staff to assist the elderly, and by the time I parked and got there, she was a couple minutes late. The nice male phlebotomist did help us and the lady behind the glass then logged my Mom in, but then we ended up #6 on a waitlist. After waiting 45 minutes, I could not keep my Mom in her late 80s fasting any longer, and we had to leave. The wait room was packed with people, coughing and barely any of them had masks on. There was no social distancing due to the very limited space in the waiting room, and you know some of those people were there to test for Covid. Ridiculously bad, especially for elderly people. Also, a lady brought in a patient and a wheelchair, and there was no automatic door to let them in, and they were crammed in the waiting room as well. Very bad experience. read more

This place has a black woman at the front desk that is so disrespectful and unprofessional, she screamed at my wife because she was demanding un to return to our doctor so she could have the lab request she had lost. It is overrated by 1.5 its more like a negative 1.5 stars read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever had. Here for blood work. Not busy at all. While staff looking at phones and talking I asked a question the front desk person rolled her eyes and raised her voice. Unprofessional and lazy. Have been here multiple times recently and this lost recent time was the final straw. Staff was incredibly rude to everyone walking in including an older lady who could barely walk. Waiting on some important results and realized they ran 1 out of the 7 tests in the doctors orders. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. read more

I could not wait on my husband's blood draw even though the chairs were half empty and spaced out. He allowed another lady to wait on her husband. He said ma'am you have been serviced so you have to step out. I felt like cattle being herded! I was going to give 5 star but the way I was treated in waiting room blew it. Rude staff. They don't answer the phone even when not busy. "The most experienced and gentle nurse there" ruined my arm for weeks when drawing blood. She gave me a huge bruise when piercing through my vein entirely, and then moved the needle around a lot within the vein. I can't move my arm now and it hurts very much even when just resting it on a pillow. Never go here to have blood taken. read more

I made an appointment online days before I was going in. It was important I get a specific test done between 7:00-9:00. I got to the place before my 8:30 time slot. Of course there was a long social-distance line. I stand in line and it's moving slowly. I watch the lady letting people in one at a time. I tried to call Quest wondering if, since I had an appt, do I need to stand in line. No answer. I looked on the website. Nowhere does it say "appt go to the front". I get 10 people from the door and notice a lady gets out of line to talk to person letting individuals in the building. Sure enough, appointments go to the front. When I tell her I had an appt she says, "Didn't you hear me asking for appointments?" NO MA'AM! I am in a 25 person, social-distanced line and you're wearing a mask and face shield! Sorry I didn't hear ya! Yes, I missed my 9:00 test and have to reschedule. read more
