Omg, I've been having this restaurant on my must visit list due to all these reviews and it did not disappoint. The space is a lot smaller, hidden, but worth it. Focused on southern comfort food, we found the menu to have a lot to offer and the staff was amazing. Their biscuits are to die for. We loved the food. We want to come back and try more, def more during lunch. Can't imagine how packed it is for breakfast
Ordered the biscuits, banana brûlée French toast, omelette, and rooster egg sandwich. The egg sandwich had very fluffy eggs. French toast was too sweet. Service was average-paced. Ice coffee was good 4 stars because too many flies. Even the kitchen looked like there were a lot of flies.
Rooster was amazing! We had shrimp & grits which was very tasty and filling. We also had the peach French toast. So very well made. We loved it and will be back.
Wonderful! Fantastic food, service and ambience. I had the Rooster Benedict and hubby had the pimento cheese toast with eggs. Our server Abigail was top notch! If you do nothing else, or just take it home, the homemade hummingbird cake is to die for!
Fantastic place for lunch. I had their renowned brisket and better than I even expected. The meat was good but also great combination of sauce and cheese. Lots of great and interesting flavors. I also substituted the cole slaw for fries, made it much more manageable and it was good slaw. I also enjoyed the fried green tomatoes, nice remoulade and well prepared.
A little hole in the wall located in a strip mall with parking being a little tough. There is a disabled parking space right in front however maybe a litle challenging given the slop of the space. This restaurant is very cozy with limited inside seating, there is additional outdoor seating available. I arrived mid morning and was able to secure a 2 top table indoors again - seating is very close together and you can literally reach over to the next table. Complimentary biscuits are served but we declined - we didnt want to waste food since we do not eat a large breakfast. Our breakfast tab was over $40 and felt it was a bit expensive since we only ordered - the Rooster Waffle, the Two Natural Egg breakfast and 2 beverages. The waffle and egg's are average at best but the noteworthy item was the Hashbrown Tater which is like a Hashbrown muffin and very good. Friendly staff even though our server was not that great ( even over heard another table tell her that her service needed work) Coke proucts are served but sadly no Coke Zero and the Root Beer is IBC
Of course I was brought here by Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and it was amazing. We got seated very quickly, which I was concerned about because the place is on the small side, but no problems. Our server was super fun and friendly. The place is small but very well decorated and there's a lot to look at, which was cool. We ordered the Texas Reuben and a Curried Chicken Salad. The curried chicken was delicious but the Reuben was to die for. It was so delicious. The fries were also incredible. Then we made a very wise decision to try the Hummingbird cake. It was like carrot cake had a baby with a pumpkin roll and that baby weighed 100 pounds! I was so full it hurt but it was a great meal. We even picked up some homemade dog treats! If I could change one thing, I wish they had fountain diet drinks. They have a few fountain drinks but the diet ones are in cans. It's absolutely not a big deal and I would go back any time!
I think I have eaten out at every brunch place in Naples as a dear friend lives there and we meet up for brunch often. So imagine my delight when she says, "let's try the Rooster" which has been on my list for awhile now. We went on a Friday morning. It was a chilly Florida day but given the size of the place we decided to sit outside. Our server was over in a flash suggesting things and then he tells me they don't have a liquor license . . .and just as I was groaning about my lack of a Bloody Mary, he says they can make one with wine as the alcohol and I won't know the difference? Really? Well you know what? he was right! We had a large sized group so we got to taste a wide variety of the menu. I had the chilaquiles with shrimp that had the fluffiest scrambled eggs on them that I have ever eaten! I would go back for that dish alone. And ask for a side of bacon as you definitely get your money's worth! I bet there were 5 pieces of bacon on that plate! We also decided to share a sweet dish so we all got a bite of the Banana Brulee french toast which was heaven on a plate! Be still my taste buds! Others at the table at the avocado toast, shrimp and grits, eggs Benedict, sausage and gravy and the chicken and waffles. Everyone said at the end of the meal that The Rooster was now our fav place in Naples. Know before you go that this place isn't fancy. If you want to use the restrooms you'll be hiking around the building to the one seat restroom in the back of the place, but that's just part of the charm! I will definitely be back! What a find!
This place is a the end of a strip mall and it's a cute little restaurant. The biscuits are delicious. The jalapeño sausage gravy is soooo good and the fried green tomatoes were amazing. I think they could do a couple things better like my son said the strawberry French toast was way too sweet. Maybe because they say it in a plate of caramel sauce. And the fruit was not fresh or it was soaked in something sweet as well which made the bread soggy. I think the savory dishes were better than the sweet. The shrimp and grits were good as well. I didn't care for the blueberry lemon pancakes either. Our server was nice. Overall pretty good experience.
I cannot say enough good things about The Rooster Food & Drink in Naples, Fl. When we first arrived around noon there was a line of people waiting to be seated because the restaurant is just that good!! In the scheme of things, we ended up not having to wait that long to be seated. They have an extensive menu of feel good food and many menu items can be made gluten free if they are not already and it is not a gluten free restaurant. They also have both gluten free biscuits and non gluten free biscuits and both incredible! I have to be gluten free and I was able to order The Rooster Benedict on a gluten free biscuit. Every morning they make their own lemon hollandaise sauce, in addition to, all of their other menu items. It also came with a hash brown muffin that was so delicious! I was in heaven that I could eat something like this and have it be so delicious at the same time!! My husband who is not gluten free ordered the biscuits and gravy breakfast and also ordered a side of brisket. He absolutely loved his meal too! I was also able to have some of the brisket which was so good as well! Our waiter was fabulous too! Not only was he so patient and kind but he was so knowledgeable about gluten, in addition to the chef, being very knowledgeable about what gluten was and what menu items I could have! It was so comforting to go to a restaurant and having this kindness and knowledge and deliciousness!! I loved the ambiance, decor and "warmness" of the place too!
Solid. Great food. Great service. The chicken and waffles with a side of bacon, damn, it was good. Leave the pepper jelly sauce on the chicken. The place is packed. The speaks to the food and service. The place is small, very limited parking. Worth the wait. Make sure you don't need to go to the bathroom or you'll have to walk around the whole building to get to it.

I took my dad here for Father's Day brunch and it was great! The interior is tiny so there is very limited seating but we went around 1pm and were able to sit right away. It was a little bit warm inside so you might find it uncomfortable if you spent a while waiting outside in the heat before sitting down. I had the crabcake benedict and it was amazing! The hush puppy muffins that come with the meals are delicious as well. We also had a pancake which was really yummy, but keep in mind the pancake style here is more thin and crispy than fluffy and moist. Also, the standard pancake batter is lemon flavored. There were a few issues with our order (brought over orange juice instead of apple juice and brought the wrong pancakes to our table) but they fixed both of those immediately and were apologetic. My dad also didn't like that his hush puppy was well done and they had no issues at all giving him a new one. Overall the service was great and the food was delicious! I would absolutely return.
My husband and I stopped in for breakfast while in Naples. The location has nice decor and we were greeted promptly. We started with the homemade biscuits and everyone should. The biscuits had great texture and they came with local jams, which were absolutely delicious. For my main, I had the pork belly BLT. The pork could've been a little bit crispier but I enjoyed the flavors and the bacon helped bring more texture. My husband had the shrimp and grits and it was very tasty. Shrimps are well cooked and the sauce was really good. It was a great breakfast would definitely go back. read more

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast outside this morning. Shared the short rib Benedict special and the lemon blueberry pancakes; both to die for!! Server was fun and so knowledgeable, such a great little spot! We will be back! read more

I previously stopped in for a breakfast sandwich to-go on my way to work. It was SO great that I decided to return and dine in. I started with their infamous biscuit with homemade strawberry jam. The biscuit was so tasty, I didn't use all the jam, but instead took it home with me for toast at home on a later date. I then ordered the lump crabcake Benedict topped with poached eggs and a side of their homemade lemon hollandaise. Again, the crabcake tasted so good so little hollandaise was used. My ONLY complaint was the chunks of bell pepper in them, but everyone had their own preference.... Service was provided by Taylor, which was exceptional ! If permitted, I'll request her every time I return. She is very attentive yet not distracting (other than her attractiveness) I've heard they're going to be featured on TV on Jan 24,2025 so I'm glad I was able to come TODAY (the day before) to beat the crowds I'm sure will be filling this small place up for quite a while afterward read more

Love the ambience at this place. We sat outside. They offer mimosas with different flavors. However, they should add a bit more flavor. To me, it was more like champagne with the dash of flavor. The bloody Mary was pretty tasty. I ordered the regular expended. The shaved ham was a little too salty for me. Otherwise I was a delicious meal. The biscuits with gravy was absolutely delicious. We came for a quick lunch based on the yelp reviews. "Quick" didn't happen because the place is so popular; delicious did. We started with a homemade biscuit with strawberry jam. Yummy! I had a blackened grouper sandwich and fries. My companions had the eggs benedict, two eggs scrambled and an egg white omelette. All the food was fresh and tasty. Particularly unique were the accompanying hash brown biscuits, french fries and smoked bacon. Apparently the bacon rivals another place in town that is known for their bacon. Service was good despite the crowd. And the place is cute with tables very close together. We got to know the women at the table next to us as a result. We will definitely come again! read more

First time here, quaint little breakfast/lunch place, plenty of nice outdoor shaded seating & the inside is adorable! Everything is made from scratch & you can tell. I had the chicken & waffles, wonderful, hub had the jalapeño sausage gravy over the biscuits with an egg, I tasted his OMG! Service was amazing & when in Naples will be back!! read more

Absolutely the PERFECT breakfast place. Eclectic, homey decor. Vintage folk tunes playing, it's like you're in a different time and relaxing is all you want to do instead of the normal chaos that is morning dining.Mariah was a great server as she clued us in to the made from scratch biscuits, house cured meats and how everything is prepared creatively and from scratch and you can tell. I loved the beautiful dishes , the service, the food, the decor, the music, it was perfect. They also have an awesome outdoor patio. Don't miss out on the best breakfast or lunch you will ever have ....And breakfast cocktails too because everyone loves a good mimosa.. Check this place out , you won't be disappointed. read more

My family and I went for lunch after a kayaking trip. We sat pretty quickly (they don't take reservations) and sat outside. Everyone working there was super friendly and the service was excellent. Bloody Mary was very good and so was the chicken sandwich. The omelette where you choose what you want to add was great. I thought my avocado toast was excellent. Above and beyond! My husband and I were visiting Naples, and we went to The Rooster on Thursday around noon. We were quickly greeted and seated outside. The service was very friendly! We ordered the biscuits (good!) and two specials (poached salmon Benedict and blackened grouper sandwich). Both were amazing and expertly crafted. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced. The restaurant is small and you must walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom (not an issue for me-the staff was friendly on the walk through). Highly recommend for delicious food and nice service. My one "complaint" would be their soda comes in a can instead of being free refills. read more
