My family and I went for lunch after a kayaking trip. We sat pretty quickly (they don't take reservations) and sat outside. Everyone working there was super friendly and the service was excellent. Bloody Mary was very good and so was the chicken sandwich. The omelette where you choose what you want to add was great. I thought my avocado toast was excellent. It was my nephew's birthday and we were visiting for the week, staying at an Airbnb nearby. Came on a weekday for brunch... let's read that again and let it sink in... brunch on a weekday? We ended up ordering 2 more orders for the table once we were done with the first round! I am a big fan of fried green tomatoes and once I saw it was offered as a benedict? I knew I wanted that to be my entree... happy to report that too, was amazing!! I couldnt get to the hash brown on the side but I would get this every time. The tangy flavor and crunch of the tomato complimented the poached egg so well. I was greeted again with half a biscuit, or maybe an English muffin? At the bottom... whatever it was, this dish deserves a rave review cus it was so simple yet fantastic. I usually go for a meat based dish like a chicken and waffle or traditional benedict but I was not missing the meat at all. As if the food wasn't enough to make our birthday celebration special- Amy was just an amazing, down to earth and patient server. We loved her and would recommend her to anyone! She surprised the birthday boy with a slice of hummingbird cake but when we told her he was allergic to nuts, she told us to keep the slice and brought a slice of a 3 layer chocolate cake right out, which he enjoyed so much. Above and beyond! My husband and I were visiting Naples, and we went to The Rooster on Thursday around noon. We were quickly greeted and seated outside. The service was very friendly! We ordered the biscuits (good!) and two specials (poached salmon Benedict and blackened grouper sandwich). Both were amazing and expertly crafted. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced. The restaurant is small and you must walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom (not an issue for me-the staff was friendly on the walk through). Highly recommend for delicious food and nice service. My one "complaint" would be their soda comes in a can instead of being free refills. read more

I found a gem in Naples. They make everything from scratch. This quaint little restaurant serves great food. No wonder it popped up when I searched for good brunch spots around this area. The restaurant is cute. It has a nice colorful outdoor sitting area with plants all around. The inside is cozy with a nice country charm. The place is located in a plaza, in a corner. Just look for the red umbrellas I ordered the Biscuits with Jalapenos Sausage Gravy. Boy, this was good. The homemade biscuits are excellent and that sauce, delicious. I then ordered the Pork Pelly and Grits. That was another good dish. I don't know what was on that grits but it was good. I would order it again. I found it hard to pick from the menu. I was watching the plates around me and the combinations all looked good. The service was good and friendly. I do wish they had more of those chocolate chip cookies I saw in the back for sale. What a cute little diamond in the rough. We walked in and luckily there was a table. The restaurant is small and very cutely decorated in country motif. We sat ourselves and we're quickly approached by the waitress. The menu was great with lots of scratch items. I opted for the salmon Benedict. It was delicious. It was a huge portion. It was not as hot as I would've liked. The homemade bread it was on was really good. I would've liked a little more lemon in the hollandaise sauce. The hash brown muffin was delicious! I went on a Sunday at 8am. This place is always busy and it's because the service is great and food too. I paid $60 for two coffees two biscuits and two entrees and tip. The service was great the server gave us recs since it was our first time. They place great music while you eat. I highly recommend this place. Just ate there on October 2, 2025. I was the first one in the door and had a ham and cheese omelette, which had what they said was like prosciutto but not prosciutto for the ham in the omelette.
