If I could give this place zero stars I would but unfortunately I have to give at least one star to write a review. Where to start? Sat down immediately and was greeted by a sweet waitress. Family of 4. Placed our drink, appetizer & food order. Ordered 2 appetizers, 3 dinners and the fourth person in our party only ordered a side of fries. Also ordered a shake. Our waitress told us the shakes take longer than the food so she'd make sure they get started on it immediately. Drinks(no shake) came out relatively quickly. Our waitress came to our table FOUR times with other tables food - she literally had no idea what was going on. One of our appetizers finally arrived - about 20-25 minutes after ordering. About 10-15 minutes after that the second appetizer finally arrive along with 2/3 of the dinners ordered. Still waiting on 1 dinner, 1 side of fries and the shake. About 10 minutes after that the final dinner and side of fries came out - after everyone else had finished eating. Still no shake. We had to ask two more times about it before finally giving up and telling them to cancel. They gave us 50% off the last two items of food to came out - only $6 off. Also gave us two gift certificates in the amount of $8 each that'll probably never get used because I would never go back to a place that failed on so many levels. As for the food? Meh. The chicken sandwich that was ordered was constructed in a way that makes it impossible to eat as a sandwich. The burger was paper thin. The fish in the fish n chips was overly breaded and the portions were small. We were told that there was only one cook tonight for whatever reason - and the owner was helping in the kitchen. No excuse. If you aren't staffed to accommodate your less than half empty restaurant don't sit more tables Poor executions on every level. read more

So the building is beautiful and the outside views are refreshing, but be careful on the top floor of the sun is out, it's blinding. Servers were good, I wish they would've warned my wife about how spicy their "pepper jack cheese" was, it was Monterrey Jack with tons of crushed red pepper on it, she wasn't able to eat it. We ordered the loaded fries for an appetizer, they were very good but they don't give you very much for $10 (was about the size of a Medium fry from a fast food place) the nachos and chips/queso looked like a much better deal. Their pizza was a tavern style . Stromboli was good and was a pretty large serving size. My wife and Mother-in-law swore by the Mac n cheese and said they'd highly recommend it. Just a side note, the fries by themselves are absolutely delicious. I'd suggest those with any sandwich. Also, we went on a Saturday so we ordered from the weekend menu, I don't know what the regular menu has in it. read more

So my wife and I decided to give the rooftop a try today even though I was Skeptical due to the mixed reviews the following is our experience and rating. Parking D- They have a few spaces in the rear of building but no signage directly you there. So we parked got out and tried to figure out which door or stairs to enter the business. One again no signage from the parking lot on where to enter. We finally made it in as initially we had wanted to eat on the roof, our girls 10, 7 and infant had wanted to do that. We were informed that the roof area wasn't open (no biggie) so we decided to sit outside seating. Our hostess was nice seated us and brought a high chair we had asked for. A couple of minutes later or server arrived gave us menus and walked away. Seeing we has 2 kids probably would have been wise to atleast take a drink order or ask....nope about 5mins later she came back and started bussing the table next to us once again not stoping to ask or take a drink order. We waited another 10 mins still no waitress and which I don't know if it was a manager or owner was walking around to tables (only 2 other were occupied) ask how things were going. When he stopped at ours and asked us we realayed or frustrations of waiting to get drinks. He did apologize and said he would take care of it, but by this time the kids were too hot and cranky so we decided to go to a different restaurant down the street. As we were trying to leaving the parking lot an SUV pulled up and parked right in the middle so no cars could pull in or out. And a large group of people got out dancing and running around ( note they did see us walk by with all the kids and baby to get into our vehicle) we had to wait an additional 10min until I started honking until the SUV moved. The restaurant seemed more like a frat house bar then a place you would want to take your kids. Never got to try any food so I can't rate it but or overall experience is a F and we won't return again. It's said because we like supporting local businesses. read more

We spent a couple of hours waiting for the Kenny Chesney concert to begin at The Rooftop. Beautiful sunny day for drinks and a late lunch. The table ordered burgers which were very good. I must say that the fries are uniquely delicious, so much so that we ordered an additional plate to munch on! It was an event weekend so we were on a limited menu so we were disappointed not to get to try some of regular menu selections. The staff was attentive and hustling. Small inside bar area but made great drinks with good food. The Old Fashion was properly made by bartender (Tori I think) and I had the chicken beach pizza, an odd but good pizza I really enjoyed. Went to the Rooftop march 8th before a concert with friends. They were all double charged and the Rooftop said they had passed off all the transactions to whomever processes their credit card transactions. The manager explained this to us in a very rehearsed way as well as our friends during different calls. More than 2 weeks later, no refund. One of their employees is saying to dispute the extra charge with our bank now. We were never offered anything and were told it wasnt a big deal to be charged an additional 50. To top it off the food was terrible. I'd be careful going here as it may result in surprise charges with no assistance or concern from their manager. read more

Been a couple times. This would have 5 stars because the atmosphere is one of the best! Friendly staff and weekends has two levels and live music on both levels. The 3 star is because the food is not great! I have had multiple items there and it's real salty and low flavor. The best item is the Buffalo MaCN Cheese though. It's good! Drinks are watered down and served in plastic cups not glass or in recommended mugs, i.e. any Mule should not be served in a plastic cup! Will still go for the atmosphere but not a first for the food and drinks. read more

Came here for brunch on a Sunday. The food was good, but it is all extremely filling food and basically nothing light. The main issue we had was that when our tickets came out all the items were more expensive than the menu. There was supposed to be $2 mimosas (this was written on their chalkboard inside and they had posted it on facebook) but they were $3. Everything else was priced $1-$3 more without tax. The server said that bc of Covid prices had to be raised, which is totally understandable, but please be like other restaurants during this time and give out a menu that has the CORRECT prices on them. Our server told us your restaurant had a sign that said "prices may be higher bc of covid", Which we did not see and is very vague. When you don't correct your menu prices you drive people away. Myself and those that came with me said they will not be back bc of this. Feels like you were tricking us for a couple extra $$$. read more

The atmosphere is really cool. This is a place to go for drinks and apps ONLY! I would only order food from the rest of the menu if you are really hungry or if you are fine being disappointed. Whoever they hired to write up the menu needs a raise because they sure make everything on the menu sound amazing. But, there is a huge disconnect between what is described on the menu and what comes of the kitchen. I've given this place several tries because I want this place to be great, but my experience has been the same each time. In sum, this is a really cool place that has a lot of potential. Visited before elite 8 game. They were busy but food was terrible. I ordered a gyros. The pita was hard and stale. There was no cucumber or other veggies normally on an gyros. Only lettuce and a bit of mint. Hardly any meat. My wife ordered a philly cheese steak with onions and peppers. There was no cheese and no peppers. Just a sliver of onion and meat on a huge hoagie bun. We ordered blue moon beer and after 10 minutes still didn't have it. Another waitress stopped to ask if we needed anything. To top it off the bartender thought it would be a good idea to stir my jack and coke with his finger and then lick his finger off and tell me to enjoy my evening. Went in for brunch on a whim, was seated right away, staff was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and fresh. Only reason it did not get 5 stars is the building is what appears to be an old house that not fully finished. There is a steep stairwell to get to the actual rooftop making it not elderly, handicap, or stroller friendly. read more

Four of us went for an early dinner last Friday evening. We ordered drinks, and when he delivered them we ordered apps and entrees. After 30 minutes our apps were delivered...and at the same time our entrees arrived. Everything was lukewarm, at best. The loaded fries were a plate of about 15 cold fries with a thin layer of cheese, sprinkled with bacon. We hadn't been here in a couple of years, and were super disappointed in this visit. Terrible service!!! Called before going to the bar. They advised their kitchen was open till 10 and bar open till 11. We arrived around 8:45. Just to have someone wait till after 9 to come to the table and advise the kitchen had already closed.. we advised this is not what we were told earlier in the day. all we received was a response of "who ever you talked to should not have told you that". Have been here several times and this place is fantastic. From the service, ambiance, friendliness of the owner down to the wait staff, cleanliness, and food...everything is 5 stars. Not sure why anyone would complain about the prices because they are less expensive than most downtown places. I have had the club, stone-baked pizza, fish and chips, and the Reuben. All have been excellent and great quality for price. The homemade chips are worth the extra upcharge. Look forward to trying the breakfast. Richie and his father (the owners) are great and you can tell they want your business and are very accommodating, unlike some other downtown restaurants. Definitely look forward to the rooftop dining as this will be amazing and hopefully busy all the time! Keep doing what you are doing! read more
