There were several inspection issues that needed to be addressed. Joe himself answered the company phone number, he came right out with a couple of guys to give us an estimate, and he fit us into his schedule right away. He doesn't use salesmen; he looks at your project and gives you the estimate himself. His quote was very reasonable. He replaced over 100 feet of rotten fascia wood and all the gutters on my son's house. He painted the new wood, added more downspouts, installed new gutters and even painted the downspouts to match the blue siding of the house. I don't even know how he matched the color! In addition to the gutters, he created a new chimney cap that went OVER the siding up the chimney, instead of under, which prevents water from seeping behind the siding and causing rot. He also painted all the thru-roof flashings. We couldn't have been more impressed with the end result. In short, Joe is a good man who does really good work. Capco has an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, they have been in business for 42 years as of 2025, and they do so much more than roofs and gutters. Replacing the roof was very important to me and a significant financial undertaking after both the hail storm of August 2023 and May 2025 that I deliberatly put off until a leak from the attic I experienced in the latter half of the year. The price was reasonable for class 4 shingles and solar panel removal on a 3-story roof. The roofing work was done on schedule. All planning previous with material delivery and removal were on schedule. The workers were diligent and thorough with removing the fallen nails after cleanup per my request. I also appreciate Daniel's office staff with scheduling and documentation with insurance working between me and one other decision-maker in the quote process. I really appreciate the work done and willingness to warranty inspect after a year.

I have recommended Marks Builders to many of my family and friends, and they've all had great things to say too.  Read on if you want the whole story! I had a leak in a wall between two bathrooms, above the kitchen.  Just to set the scene, my wife was pregnant and we had a baby due 3 weeks after the start of the construction.  My kitchen had a dropped ceiling and was original to the 1970s house.  Dustin worked with State Farm (my insurance carrier) to bring the adjuster's repair estimate up to a par. He and his team worked with us to order cabinets early (we were getting custom cabinets so they had a long lead time), then they gutted the kitchen and bathroom, raising the ceiling to 8' (reworking the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical lines in the process).  They pulled up all of the tile in the downstairs while we were out of the house (and in the hospital having the baby).  We asked for a few days at home without construction when we came home, to which they agreed. They worked hard to make sure that the house was ready for cabinets when they would be delivered. The cabinets were delivered without issue and installed the same week, with the trim taking longer than any other single step because they wanted it to look just right - and it paid off! The finishing touches make all the difference! The granite crew came in and did their thing. Like all of Dustin's sub-contractors, they were on time, professional, and courteous. They did their work well, quickly, and cleanly. We opted for granite counters and granite backsplashes, with different edge finishes in different places, corners, etc. to work around. They did it all well. Our kitchen looks fantastic, even a year and a half later. Through the whole 2-month process, Dustin's crew was on-site 4-6 days/week, except when we asked for the break. We made a lot of changes midway through, and Dustin didn't nickel and dime on the little things (moving an outlet, changing from a 2 gang to a 4 gang plug, etc). He was happy to work with my attention to detail (which can frustrate most people I know) and he did it with a smile - his attention to detail was similar. His crew was always fun to have around, and I never once worried about them being in the home, whether I was there or not. They worked hard to make sure we felt safe with them in the house at the start of Covid. All said, I strongly recommend Marks Builders. They're honest, smart, hard-working, and fun people who care about the work they produce and their customers' experience.
