Excellent donuts, guess that shows why they've been open since 1978. It's a small little shop but the staff are friendly and efficient. The donuts are delicious and they have a great selection, even some amazing looking vegan donuts. We tried the white Kinder and cookies n cream and they were tasty.

11/10 recommend stopping here for all your donut needs!! They have amazing vegan donut options as well as regular donuts as well. We tried a few of them and couldn't decide which was our favorite because they were all so delicious. It is hard to come by good vegan donuts and let me tell you these did not disappoint whatsoever!!! They also have great coffee and tea options to round a great breakfast stop :)

Stumbled upon this place while walking around and so happy we did. They specialize in sourdough donuts which were so good! We ordered one plain sugar, Oreo and biscoff and they were all delicious. Super moist and the flavors were amazing! They also sell some coffee and teas. Inside they have four seats, and they have two small tables outside, but its right across the street from the river so we sat there. Line moves quickly and they're well worth any wait.

Great find in a tourist area. Smells and tastes like sugar Heaven. Donuts are soft sourdough, not overly sweet. Makes for a good base against sweeter glaze and fillings. Lots of flavor options. It would be very dangerous to have this shop close to home.

We were about 50/50 on the donuts we purchased. The Kinder Bueno donut was AMAZING! Get this one! The custard with chocolate icing ("The Dub") was not very good. The apple crumble was a solid middle. Fun and worth trying. I think the sourdough lends better to some flavors than others.

The Rolling Donut ended up being our choice lunch in Dublin - hey, vacations are for indulging, right? My husband and I split two donuts - red velvet and chocolate orange. There were so many options that it was hard to decide. Both donuts were huge and filled with the most delicious creams. I'm so bummed that this place doesn't exist in the US - although I would probably be about 300lbs heavier!

Wonderful texture of their housemade sourdough doughnuts.. And the flavors are so unique! We did not have a single bad doughnut, and would love to come back. There are so many more that I want to try.. Highly recommend them!

Rolling Donuts As I am writing this review back in America , I'm dreaming of having a Rolling Donuts location here! I really love the concept and the variety of unique flavors that are displayed as soon as you walk in. Oh and yes, there are vegan flavors! Lots of vegan flavors. Because ordering all of them would have been very unhealthy, I opted for just one raspberry donut. I mean that's kind of healthy right? It has fruit as an ingredient? But wow! The bright yellow theme of the restaurant and plethora of options, including ones for vegans is what made me very happy. The raspberry donut I ordered was so tasty and slightly tart. It tasted the same as a non vegan donut would have typically tasted and I know because long ago I ate donuts made with animal products. Anyways, I am dreaming of having a rolling donut right about now. But if you are ever in Ireland you must visit a Rolling Donuts, I remember seeing a few different locations. As always, go vegan! (Or at least try!)

Best donuts of my life!!!! we had a long layover in Dublin so we decided to check out the city a bit. We came across this place and it was heavenly. It makes me sad to think about it because I don't know when I'll be able to have it again. seriously airy donuts and the toppings are not overly sweet and sugary. Just so much deliciousness I cant even describe it. If you're in Dublin, go have a donut or two or a dozen and eat one just for me.

Located across from Saint Stephen's Green. Who wouldn't want to go eat some donuts after a day hanging out on the beautiful green lawns of Saint Stephen's Green? Popped in and saw these beautifully designed vegan donuts and I was in awe. (See photos) Oh and don't worry they're not all vegan but they did have some cute names like Unicorn Magic, Coffee Lover, Chocolate Orange Surprise and Coco Loco to name a few. These super cute donuts didn't just look good they tasted good. Definitely a place you'd pop in to get a few donuts & coffee and off you go. It's quite small inside and not somewhere to sit down and hang out.

I had a craving for something sweet and found this as a main attraction in the inner streets of Dublin. We set sail on foot to find this infamous place only to find out that they had sold out on their doughnuts for the day and closed up shop as they usually do when they sell out. So the next morning I made it a mission to get there bright and early to get my sweets fix! I arrived bright and early and to my surprise there was a variety of selection of doughnuts and the flavors were all enticing. As you know I am a chocolate a Holic so I had to get the classic chocolate and I also decided to get the red velvet. On to the tasting. So I decided the chocolate would be first surprise surprise right? The real surprise was that the chocolate was not good to me. The doughnut was on a different type of bread and I didn't like it at all. I was disheartened thinking that the red velvet would have the same outcome but I decided to try it anyway. After taking a bite of the red velvet with cream filling I was literally in heaven. The doughnut was covered in chocolate then sprinkles with red velvet and a chocolate heart on top and the cream was to die for. The red velvet is the best red velvet doughnut I have ever tasted. Beyond amazing. If your ever in Ireland Red velvet doughnuts is the way to go. Give your sweet palate a taste of heaven!

Well presented nicely branded place image. Good that the shop has a few stools. Staff are friendly. Good choice of doughnuts. About 13. I like the usual flavours. The apple cinnamon doughnut was the nicest I tasted. It was the best value as it was heavy and had lots of stuffing inside. They where rather expensive. 3 euro each. You can order boxed of them and also drinks.

Whether you're in a hurry to work, coming from a pub or sauntering on your day off, the Donut Kiosk on O'Connell Street is an excellent pit stop. Inside the little glass hut, a single worker fries these fatty treats to perfection. There's only two options (sugary or chocolate) but that's all you need. Ask anyone in Dublin and they'll swear that this food stand has been around since they were a little kid. Prices are cheap too: 60 cents for 1 or 3 Euro for 6. You can't go wrong with these tasty snacks.

Best doughnuts in Dublin; truly irresistible. Haven't been in years, think I'll be paying a visit tomorrow. In fact, I know it.

Had the dub donut. Not much filling to it what so ever. Had a sweet tooth and it didn't help very much. €3 for a single donut is kinda nuts.

If you're from the states, do yourself a favor and try these because the ingredients are far superior to anything you would find back home. I'll definitely be back tomorrow for more. It's a small shop, like very small shop so seating is more than extremely limited. That was OK since I knew we would be walking away eating. It's also fun to watch them making donuts right behind the glass in the store. Since there are not to many people inside at any one time and two people behind the counter they are very attentive. I also had a specialty coffee which they make on the spot. There is a great selection of fresh and delicious speciality doughnuts and a "Donut of the day" but we were too late for that. We left and continued our walk only to stop for a minute and use a pail as our table. These donuts are good.... I mean really good. Our need for sweet was satisfied and later I was disappointed that I did not bring back a few more to take on the ship with me. They had so many flavors and styles. Stop in if you're in the area. You know that saying, "You get what you pay for?" Insert me pointing at this place here. This was…read moreour third and final Donut Dawdle stop, and wouldn't you know it was a fail? We passed by the Boomerang Donuts display on our walk up and back down Grafton Street, before our breakfast stop. We had agreed to get our final three donuts here, based on the pretty-looking donuts and the interesting-sounding flavors. The three donuts from Boomerang were the cheapest of the three stops. That should have tipped us off to something, but at this point, we were still oblivious. I went with the Bueno Kinder, my husband got the Boston Creme, and we decided to share the Salted Caramel. Box in hand, we crossed the street into St. Stephen's Green, hunkering down at a bench near one of the bodies of water. The donuts weren't worth the money we paid for them. They weren't even donuts, in the technical sense. The dough was way more dense than any respectable donut should ever be - all three had the consistency of an overly dry cake. The Bueno Kinder had no flavor to speak of, and I found myself separating the "icing" from the dough, creating a pile that would eventually find its way into the hungry gullets of the birds brazenly walking towards us as we tried to eat the donuts we'd just paid for. My husband's Boston Creme had a pathetic squirt of some kind of filling in the middle - he said it didn't taste anything like a true Boston cream, and he had to work through more than half the donut to even find the filling. By the time I got done deconstructing my first donut, I had no desire to even try with the Salted Caramel. My husband, ever the trooper, took a bite then promptly tapped. I took what I could from the base of that donut, adding it to my growing pile of dry crumbs to dole out to the birds, before standing up and risking my eyes to fling the crumbs at the mass of birds. (Note - I don't typically feed the wildlife, and honestly wouldn't have if my husband hadn't suggested it. I think it was a joke when he first mentioned it, but it blossomed into a real "let's do this" thing by the time we admitted the donuts were not meant to be eaten by humans.) I'd avoid Boomerang Donuts like I'd avoid gas station sushi. Just don't do it.

Later in the day we walked by this place and the mystery was solved! The donuts in the window looked so unique and delicious that we had too try them. It was hard to pick what we wanted because everything looked so good. We ended up getting the strawberries and cream, banofee, and apples and cinnamon. The strawberries and cream was not very good. The topping fell off when you ate it and it tasted like cough syrup. The apples and cinnamon and banofee were both good. They were very big yeast donuts that had filling, but not very much filling. They definitely needed more because only a couple of bites had filling. I liked them and would get them again!
