After browsing over the different flavors, the attentive donutarian bagged my order of a single Lemon Poppyseed donut. While on layover in Frankfurt, I finally decided to roll into the lemon poppyseed donutiness... The donut was OK, it had a bready texture, which made sense, because it was a sourdough donut. The glaze on top of the donut was really thick, and it wasn't overly sweet to my taste buds. The glaze also had a light lemon flavor that provided some tartness, and just a few poppy seeds on top. As my friend had mentioned, their donuts are kind of big and filling for one person to eat alone, so I would definitely recommend sharing the love! (and calories)

I also had a specialty coffee which they make on the spot. There is a great selection of fresh and delicious speciality doughnuts and a "Donut of the day" but we were too late for that. We left and continued our walk only to stop for a minute and use a pail as our table. These donuts are good.... I mean really good. The Bueno Kinder had no flavor to speak of, and I found myself separating the "icing" from the dough, creating a pile that would eventually find its way into the hungry gullets of the birds brazenly walking towards us as we tried to eat the donuts we'd just paid for.
