In addition to being incredibly talented, she is also incredibly welcoming. I generally consider myself a subpar conversationalist (awkward, bad with eye contact, sweats a lot), but I have NEVER ONCE felt awkward while getting a haircut from Michelle. She has an incredible ability to keep a conversation flowing naturally and every appointment is so pleasant! I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt people should see what $110 got me here…read more I had to stop the service mid-appointment because basic nail prep was not being done. I work with my hands for a living, and my nails genuinely needed proper cleaning and prep before tips were applied. Instead, I found myself having to repeatedly ask for basic prep work while being made to feel uncomfortable for speaking up. The tips were then applied with excessive glue/product underneath the nails, leaving thick chunks underneath that make the nails difficult to properly clean. When I expressed concern, I was told the glue "had to be there" to make the nails strong. I have been getting my nails done for decades and have never had a technician argue with me for not wanting large globs of hardened glue underneath my nails. When I said I wanted to stop the service, I was told "let me fix it," but the issues were never actually corrected. The nail lengths and shapes were inconsistent, the filing/shaping was uneven, and there were visible imperfections, debris, and rough edges throughout the work. I also had concerns about sanitation. The UV lamp being used appeared dirty and damaged, and the drill/e-file bits looked visibly unclean between clients, which made me increasingly uncomfortable during the appointment. I've attached photos so people can judge the quality for themselves.

Marina was so friendly and welcoming, as well as very detailed about what it was I wanted. I felt very comfortable with letting her do her thing. She absolutely impressed me! Arax helped with my face framing, and another lovely lady (I missed her name) did my blowout. Everyone was so nice and supportive. They hyped me up after everything was done and made me feel absolutely beautiful. The salon itself was very cute and intimate. A warm, welcoming, clean setting, and everyone in there seemed very sweet as well. I will definitely continue to have Marina do my hair from here on out! Very pleased!

Gabby for the win! My first time here. Was feeling very…read morelazy, but wanted to straighten my hair for the day. I looked up on yelp for blowouts in my area and this place came up. Gabby was the only Stylist available last minute, but it worked in my favor. I was lucky to get an appointment within two hours for a blowout. I kinda miss the turn, so ended up parking on the street, but there is parking in the plaza lot that they are in. But otherwise there is plenty of street parking for free along Olive Avenue. Gabby is so sweet, and although I don't mind a heavy-handed Stylist, she is very gentle. The whole experience was very relaxing and satisfied with my end result. My only complaint and the reason I gave only four stars is, I didn't love the shampoo bowls. They don't have the rubber neck support in the bowls, and I just felt like I kept sliding down in the chair and it made me think too hard and not be able to enjoy the shampooing experience. I will definitely come back to see her on these days that I am feeling lazy. I just want to be pampered a little bit. I ended up having her flat iron as well. Blowout alone was $65 and with flat iron was $80 total.

My wife had a frustrating experience at Color Lounge with her service. The initial consultation…read moreseemed promising, but the actual appointment turned out to be a massive ordeal. She was quoted a 6-hour timeline, but ended up trapped in the salon for a grueling 12 hours (9 AM to 9 PM). The real shock came at checkout when she was hit with an astronomical bill of $1,800, which came out to $2,300 after a 20% tip that she felt completely obligated to give because of the pure time spent by the stylist Sai. Worse than the price, her hair was severely damaged by the aggressive process. Her natural curl pattern was completely stripped, and the hair began breaking off any time she touched, brushed, or styled it. When we asked the owner, Sai, for guidance on professional deep conditioning or repair treatments to help recover from this, she simply told us to buy a retail bonding line and offered zero actual support or follow-up assistance. For thousands of dollars, you expect high-end expertise and client care, but my wife left with ruined hair and no support. We will not be returning.
