This place is cute. Came for a late breakfast. Food was good. My husband got the country fried steak I believe it was, my son got the burrito, and I got chilaquiles and we all enjoyed it very much. First off how can you not love good food on the river after a day at the river! That being said .. this is really way better than river food. Cool spot with boat dock and widow views, outside seating and great food. Wait staff was on point. Very cool and helpful staff and even had some laughs with kitchen staff as I was hanging out back there lol to use the restroom.. all good people! Ordered up a legit bacon cheeseburger and fries. The menu is really pretty awesome. Of course Sandwich options , burgers , pizza and some really good looking entrees ! Saturday night it was full of people having fun and a great vibe. I can't believe we didn't find this little gem on the river earlier! Hubby and I were out on the river just floating on the boat and instead of going down river to the other joints on the water, we decided to stop at Riverfront and give it a try. So glad we did because they have the best pizza in the area. We had half pepperoni and half BBQ chicken and both were equally tasty. The dough was a perfect thickness, not too thin to where the pizza is floppy, but just thick enough to absorb all the flavors and be filling. The crust is soft, well seasoned and is even better if you ask for a side or marinara to dip it in. The BBQ was was a bit on the light side so we'll ask for more sauce next time but other than that, it was a perfect meal. We had the pleasure of being served by the owner Cindy-what a friendly and down to earth soul. Very genuine, and you can tell she loves her restaurant, and patrons. Great service! They also have a huge dock that is very sturdy, well maintained with plenty of buoys for watercraft parking. We loved it so much we came back the next day (and had pizza again)! read more

Driving through Needles and needed a break so checked on Yelp. They had a very high rating so we decided to give it a try. We were seated immediately with a great view of the River. Penny was our perfect waitress! I ordered an impossible burger that was cooked perfectly and my boyfriend had a regular burger that was a bit undercooked (since hamburger should be well done). They were both very tasty. My fries were thin cut and great. BF's cole slaw was good. It was kind of strange to find this restaurant in a trailer park but what the heck. It's a casual place. Nothing fancy. A great place if you're on the road or looking for an easy spot for some yummy food. read more

I have to say seeing 160 or so reviews and 4.5+ star rating I thought this spot would be a welcome respite after a too many fast food stops during our road trip from the Bay Area to the Grand Canyon. How exciting if we found a gem in what felt like the middle of nowhere! Read a few reviews and owner seems attentive with her replies. First thing to note, you drive through an RV/Mobile Park to reach this cafe, but what a gorgeous view of the Colorado River and the beautiful homes across the River! This is their best selling point and after being in the car for 10 hours with 100 degrees F weather, being along the River was amazing! We brought our dog down to the beach and water was clean clear and cooling. The cafe building is older, interior is dark and it also is a bar. Reminds me of the old bowling alley in our town and the food is exactly comparable to most bowling alley menu, style and quality. We sat on the outside patio to enjoy the food (we had our doggo and well, COVID). All the patrons were kind and friendly! Our server was slow to reach the table, but apps came out pretty quickly. We ordered the pizza and perhaps because we're from the Bay Area with amazing pizza choices this pizza was nothing to get excited about. It was just pizza, hubby compared it to Dominos. I'd say it was as good as Costco. Good enough. Husband ordered margaritas and sodas. Bartender forgot to make the sodas and hubby told the hostess to re-request. These did not get delivered so had to go back and get. Napkins were never brought to table so hubby asked hostess for them to which they were never delivered. Had to retrieve ourselves which was a pain since fingers and face were unwiped and had to mask up. Ordered a water instead of another marg and it took at least 10-15 min for it to get delivered and requested our check at this point since everything was moving as slow as honey! Restaurant seemed understaffed because of this. Hostess could've picked up some slack and brought drinks out/napkins. I did not see a line of customers out the door waiting to be seated to prevent this. Server was also bartender. If she had said she was busy everything would've been more understandable or if they communicated the patio was for take out and we had to go back in to get our food and drink it would have made for a more pleasant experience. But our expectations were that it was outdoor service to which they didn't measure up to, I think, anyone's standard. Definitely do not come here for the food or service. If I was a local to the area it may have been different but coming from the Bay Area, our expectation for a 4.5 star restaurant style and quality was just too high. But that view is epic. read more

I have nothing negative to say about the food and our service at this place. It was all fantastic. However the woman who appeared to be the manager was horrible. She berated our server so loudly that the whole restaurant could hear. Our server was brand new and will likely not last long if she knows what's good for her. We tried to advocate on her behalf but received only excuses along the line of "it's hard to get good people to stay." Well duh. I wouldn't last long either under that kind of childish scolding. Consider adopting some positive reinforcement in your management style. read more

Met Cindy and her husband last night when we came for pizza. It was just okay, compared to three other pizza locations in Needles. Pizza was over cooked, and the price was higher then the other three locations. It was empty when we arrived at 5;00 Pm on a Saturday. It fit busy while we got are good. Waiter. Cook, and guy working has too much to do. Waitress showed up, and helped every one else, but us, the first people to finish food, and ready to leave. Need to bring prices down, before we will visit again. $16.00 for a double burger, is too high! Soft drinks $2.85 with refills ( Ouch)! We left Laughlin to escape the crowded restaurants on our way home to California. We passed a sign with an arrow for The River Front Cafe as we made our way to another restaurant in Needles only to discover it closed. We drove back to The River Front Cafe not knowing what to expect. Off the beaten path and inside a trailer park is this hidden gem with patio and restaurant tables overlooking the Colorado river. The owner, Cindy, who playfully says her name is Cinderella is very thorough, informative, and quick. The menu consisted of items you might find in a diner with something to please every hungry traveler. The food was as good as any popular diner and the service was quick and attentive. Restrooms were very clean. We'll definitely make it a point to stop back in on our next trip to the River. read more

My wife and I recently stayed at a RV park close by and on our way back from taking a bike ride to downtown needles we decided to stop by. We arrived just in time since there was no one eating outside, that changed quick and more people showed up. The tables and chairs were dirty, and I was a little surprised with all the crap going on, that they weren't cleaned more often. We ordered a pizza and it was very good. The meat on it was plentiful and it had good flavor. It was a good size, and they only had one size to order. That is ok, because we used the left over to make pizza eggs the next day!. They seemed to be short staffed and I noticed that people that came after us was getting frustrated because of the wait. The view was really nice and I am glad that we stopped here. read more

Feel like homemade pizza? This is the best place in the tri state area. Nice chewy crust, generous toppings. Specials every night they are open. I usually go for the spaghetti. Great meat sauce but the noodles are a little soggy. You get a nice salad and some terrific garlic bread though. River front view and service can't be beat. read more

Location is awesome. Food is average. Waitresses were less than par. The cook had to serve us because waitresses were in their own world. My salad sat on counter for almost 20min before it was served to me. My best friends Chicken Philly also sat on counter for approx 20min and was served cold. Poor cook was getting yelled at by waitresses but he was doing more than them. We tipped the cook 20% and our bill was over $100. The waitress got a tip of $10...for just showing up for her shift. Good food and great views. The ambiance is more "snack bar that pretends to be a bar at night" but the kitchen knows it's way around a deep fryer and pizza oven. Possibly a little pricey, but given the surroundings and friendly staff I don't really see anything out of order with that. 100% VEGAN REVIEW HERE! Super cute spot right on the river! Inside and outside seating. Beautiful view of the Colorado River. Nice local place with lots to choose from on the menu. Photos of menu posted! Not a lot of Vegan choices but there are a few. We had a veggie pizza with no cheese which was delicious. Dawn was our server (and also trying the Vegan lifestyle) so she fully understood. She confirmed the pizza dough had no dairy in it and made sure the pizza wasn't brushed with butter before it went in the oven! We also had a nice big salad with a side of French fries. We were driving the back way to Vegas from the Coachella Valley. We always stop in Needles to stretch our legs & usually go the the franchise fast food options located right off the 1-40.
