Easy to find via Google Maps. Parking is in the communal area (strip mall parking lot). Place was 40% full 6PM on a Wednesday and there was an oilers game at 6PM which it looked like at least half those people were there to watch the game. Good big TVs to watch the game on. A variety of seating from bar stools to chairs with those really long legs, chairs with short legs, and booths. Bathrooms were clean, men/woman rooms and there were 2 stalls in the woman's room. Waitress was fine - mostly friendly but never offered us a refill on our waters. Food took just over 20 minutes to arrive - likely because we ordered the chicken sandwich and it needed to be fried fresh. Friend 1 got the Nashville Fried Chicken Sandwich but asked it not be tossed in Frank's Hot Sauce. He found it really spicy and thinks they either forgot to leave the Franks off OR it was pre-dipped/in the breading. He liked the crispiness and chicken though. He ordered the new Cajun fries and liked these. They were smoking hot right out of the deep fryer which was awesome. Good spicy flavor too. He really really liked the dill mayo to help cool down all the hot food he ordered. Friend 2 got the Turkey Club House Sandwich. She was disappointed it wasn't a club, just a regular sandwich with 2 slices of bread instead of 3. She thought it was good and really liked the house salad dressing (vinaigrette). I got the Smoked Meat Sandwich. I liked the amount of meat on it - tasted more like corned beef which is something I really enjoy. There were No vegetables on it - literally Just meat and mustard. That was a little disappointing as it was kind of a flat flavor and texture. I really liked the marbled rye bread - it was so fresh and fluffy. I also got the house salad and was really happy with it. I liked the veg mix they chose and the vinaigrette as it wasn't too spicy, too sweet or too sour. Overall a decent place for some decent grub.

I was there with a large group of people, who have been to this establishment several times on Wing…read moreWednesdays in the past. The past experiences have all been fantastic and with a standard wait time for a large group. This evening was a completely different story. I am not sure the young woman's name, but I was with the group at the back of the restaurant. I got my ice tea with no ice in a timely manner; however another customer had to ask twice for his root beer, which in the end after an hour, I went up to the Bar and grabbed. As well, another customer had to ask twice for his beer that he ordered and when it didn't come out, he too had to go up to the bar to receive his beer. During this time, several other customers have arrived and been helped with drink orders and food orders being taken. My food order was taken shortly after 6pm, and at 720pm the waitress was told to come deal with our table as we were still waiting...... that was when we were informed, she hadn't put our orders in as the "page" was missed. I told her to cancel my order and that I wasn't paying for my drink at this point, and to bring the manager over. The manager was highly unprofessional and arrogant. I was pointing out that we had people order drinks twice and still not received them until we went up ourselves to get them. That is when the manager came back and said it's due to the fact that the large group was allowed here tonight, as the policy is to not allow large groups on Wing night. Which I find funny as I have been to three other event nights with this group on wing nights, one earlier this year. He then proceeded to laugh at myself when I said I was a server and was informed by him that he feels sorry for anyone who deals with my energy in person. Your server never once came to check on my table, we had to grab her each time. She was more focused on the larger tables around us, as they all were getting refills of their drinks, their food in a timely manner and their bills. I can understand large groups are harder on the staff, but when people who came in after yourself are getting drinks, and food..... when you ordered before them, and then you have to have someone else not from your table ask the waitress to do her job and take care of our table as others are noticing we are all just sitting there. That is horrible service and not only will I be sending this email, but I will be copying it and posting it on google and yelp, as well as Facebook. Not sure what happened, as like I stated before, the past times I have been there with this large group, everyone has been handled in a timely manner, but to have a full table forgotten and then the waitress to say she forgot to put the food orders in, as she "missed" the page but it took over an hour for her to even stop at the table plus she had to be asked to check on us by other customers, that's not right.

The staff were getting busy when we arrived after a show at the citadel but they were quick and made sure to still check on us frequently. Waters were never empty and our food came out promptly after we ordered. I was immediately drawn to the fermented purple corn drink (Ponche De Chicha) which was so delightful! Fruity but not over powering. A nice amount of ice and an interesting pineapple garnish to go with an interesting drink. We were also very eager to try the brussel sprouts, which were absolutely amazing! Brussels Sprouts Elote: honey glazed Brussels sprouts and drizzled with that chipotle lime aioli, and so much feta cheese. Plus I believe a portion of sales of this dish goes to the food bank. Always love supporting a good cause while enjoying good food. To finish it off we had to dip into the dessert menu and get the Sticky pudding. The sauce divine and I wished for a smidge more. A touch over salted but still delightful. I still stand by my review 7 years ago this place gets the full 5 stars!
