Where do I begin about our fabulous experience with Lauren and the Regal Beagle? Lauren and her team treat your pet like they are part of the family. They are reliable and trustworthy. We have had Lauren walk our dog since he was 12 weeks old. Her walker has helped train him and socialize him. It's like having a nanny for your dog. We also trust her team when traveling. We know that Lambeau is always safe and cared for when we are away. Her rates are reasonable and Lambeau is always exhausted after his day with his friends. I've been home a few times when he is being picked up, he can't wait to get in the car. Lauren and the Regal Beagle is a top quality business that truly cares for your dog. Lauren takes great care of my dog. She is always so thoughtful, nice, honest, and always on time. her prices are very reasonable and her communication is alway clear, and very responsive. She is also incredibly flexible so if I am able to be home last minute to take my dog out, they she has no issues if I call them off for the day. My dog comes home exhausted from the running around that Lauren does with her. she has also helped me with training my dog as well and whipped her into shape and far as listening to all the commands. I'm going to try and keep this short and sweet, because I could go on and on about how wonderful Lauren is. We live in Needham and Lauren has been walking our 11 year old Siberian Husky/Black Lab named Soebe for over three years now. Lauren is a fabulous dog walker AND a wonderful person. She truly cares about our dog, and I am positive this holds true for all of the dogs she walks. When Lauren first started with us about 3.5 years ago it was very important to us that the same person come and walk our dog every day because we wanted to be able to establish a routine for Soebe so that she knew what to expect. We also felt more comfortable with the fact that only one person, whom we had met personally, would have access to our home. We trust Lauren implicitly and if she is ever not able to walk Soebe personally she has wonderful alternate walkers that step in whom our dog also adores. Our dog's physical and mental well-being have both changed dramatically since Lauren first started walking her. She lost a few excess pounds, increased her energy level and has become more socialized with other dogs. We come home every day to a very happy and very tired girl and we usually know why when we read Lauren's notes and hear about where she went and/or who she played with that day. Lauren also runs a very professional business. Her rates are very reasonable and she gives you plenty of notice if she needs to arrange an alternate walker. If you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and overall wonderful person to care for your dog you cannot do any better than Lauren. She will treat your dog as if they were her own. read more

My husband and I started searching for a walker to supplement the current walker we have. Our current walker is going to school and there are days she is not available. We figured we should start looking to fill in the days she was not available and once she graduated from the transition from old walker to new walker would be easier for our puppy. We found Regal Beagle online and after reading the good reviews on Yelp decided to call. I spoke to Lauren and we had a good conversation about how she worked with other dogs and families. I scheduled for her to come over to meet us and meet our puppy. The meeting went well and we asked to have a trial walk to see how our puppy did with her and the dogs she brought along. The day of our trial we worked out a time for the first walk with our puppy. Lauren picked her up at the time she mentioned and took our puppy out. She gave us updates on how our puppy was doing and how the puppy was getting along with the other dog/s. Everything seems to be going well and we figured we would continue working with Lauren, until I check the video monitor of our security system. Lauren had returned from the walk, to bring puppy back home, with a male friend. This male friend of hers, who neither my husband nor I have ever met before, proceeded to walk around the house with her and taking photos of it. He even opened our fridge! As a pregnant woman who husband was traveling that day, it was completely unsettling to see a complete stranger in my home walking around and taking photos. This was the first day Lauren was in our home to walk our dog and she figured it was ok to bring someone over into our house. Maybe she was having an off day but this is something I do not expect from a professional. We confronted Lauren about the situation and she explained her friend was a builder who wanted ideas. I don't know why she thought it was fine to bring him over on the first walk she did with us and without asking us if this was something we would let her do. We told her we would not be working with her going forward considering the events that took place. I'm still bothered by the whole thing and had to note her unprofessional behavior here. Take away what you will with my review but unfortunately I did not have a good experience with Lauren and the Regal Beagle. read more

Lauren is the best, that's all there is to it. Our dogs love going out with her for their weekly runs as well as boarding with her when we're out of town. They get excited (really, really excited) whenever they see her pull up in front of the house. And, she also happens to be a most excellent human on top of being an incredible professional and great with our dogs. There's nothing not to love about The Regal Beagle. read more

Lauren and her team are prompt, friendly and most important- dog loving. Smokey always returns with a big smile on her face and then sleeps the rest of the day away. We have a sweet-but-strong dog that is gentle on the leash but squirrels are fair game so watch out. I never worry that Smokey's or any of the other dogs safety is in jeopardy. I find dealing with Lauren is pleasant. When our paths cross we have nice conversations. What might be my only criticism of the Regal Beagle is in the standards in place for giving the run down of her time spent with our dog. My preference is a service form with check boxes and that cute logo of The Regal Beagle's but the system we have of writing in a notebook works OK too. read more

My husband and I moved to Needham in August with our black lab and found Regal Beagle online. We couldn't be happier with Lauren and her team. When we first emailed, Lauren came for a visit to meet us and our dog. From that first meeting it was obvious how much she truly cares about her clients (the dogs and the humans!). In the months that our dog has been in their care we have been nothing but satisfied. Lauren communicates so well...promptly responding to any questions or change of schedule we may have. She gave us some advice when our dog was spayed and even emailed (unprompted) to check in on how she was doing during her recovery. 5 stars doesn't say enough. Lauren and her team are amazing! We moved to Boston last year and heard about Lauren through word of mouth. Grace, who works with Lauren, not only became our dog walker but part of our family. Our dogs got so excited when she came to get them and always returned tired. Grace looked out for our house and went above and beyond to help when needed. We have had dogs for many years and a few different dog walkers. None have come close to their service. Lauren (the owner) does it all. She walks them, runs them, they always come home tired and happy. Lauren has boundless energy. She communicates with us via email and text. She also takes pictures of the dogs while they're in action, and sends them to us. I love the fact that Lauren is an athlete, so she works the dog out much more than I ever could. I watch Ike when he is home (via webcam) and he is is so excited when Lauren picks him up. When he comes home he goes right for the water dish and then he literally passes out. I have referred her to friends and they've all been very happy with her services. I believe the Regal beagle covers Needham and Wellesley, which is great for those towns and too bad for all the others. She's great, I can't say enough good things about her. She's dependable and VERY trustworthy. She even fed my fish for me while I was out of town for an overnight trip. A+ read more
