He has a huge passion for his work and overall health of the patient. He's done the practice and seeing lots of patients but wants to give better, overall care to the body. I think we have all had experiences when the doctor wants to see you and get you out to see the next patient, I would be surprised if some of them even know my name. What about the cause of the problem, sure my back may hurt, but why? Is it due to bad posture, stress, other symptoms may be present as well, but so many doctors are so narrow minded and forget to look at the big picture. Plus I would rather eliminate the cause than treat the symptom. Rob is very in tune with the body, medicine and overall well being so I tink that this type of service is not only a great idea and opportunity but a great way for him to reach out to a wide audience.

But each appointment took roughly at most 10 minutes and he never laid a finger on me. I don't think it's right to pay a $20 copay each time just to be shown exercises. He is very friendly and his exercises so far have seemed to help my muscle atrophy, but I've had way better physical therapy treatment before. I asked if he could ice my neck before I leave and he said it wasn't part of insurance. I am currently in search of another physical therapist since my original physical therapist pre-surgery has relocated to Seattle. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's completely useless. I'm sure he knows what he's doing, and he is friendly, but I think a $20 copay + whatever he is billing my insurance deserves some ice pack or something. I've never even laid down and had him turn neck, actually I don't even recall him touching it. The two times he showed me virtigo and neck exercises from a regular chair. They are helping but I need someone more hands on, so I can feel relief when I leave not more pain. A simple ice pack was a no??? just wierd to me.

I can honestly say, without hesitation or exaggeration, that Dr. Connie Burns saved my life. Further, she has been treating many of my friends and family members as well - I trust her implicitly. I was referred to Dr. Burns in 2007 and after a lifetime of being quite unwell. One Western M.D. after another told me there was no medical evidence for my ailments, or they told me I was crazy. However, they did not hesitate to prescribe me a series of medications designed solely to address my symptoms. So when I was introduced to Dr. Burns, my mind was open to taking a different approach to my health and wellness, and to doing my part to get healthy once and for all. By the time I was 35 I had been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, migraines, irritable bowel syndrome and polycystic ovarian syndrome with infertility, and I had lost the vision in the center of my right eye, among other things. Within two visits, Dr. Burns had a cause for most all of my ailments: food allergies. No other doctor in all those years had bothered to even test me for food allergies, despite the fact that I had asked several times if food could be a contributor. Dr. Burns explained to me how homeopathy works, how she works and what I could expect from her. She has never, ever let me down. She returns all phone calls within 24 hours, she is prompt for all appointments and she has made herself available to me outside of her normal business hours when needed. Dr. Burns really listens to what I have to say and continues to guide me and my family towards increasingly healthier lives. In fact, she diagnosed me with a thyroid infection that was mirroring the symptoms of a heart attack when my general practitioner and several specialists told me that I had a clean bill of health. If that infection had progressed much further, I would have been hospitalized. By the time I started working with Dr. Burns my body was so worn down by the food allergies that I was on death's door at least twice; since working with her I have only experienced improvement. I now live a very healthy and happy life, with much credit going to Dr. Burns. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Because she was totally *obsessed* with chiropractic and health. Really. Totally. Obsessed. So I go in to see her, and she hasn't changed one bit in 20 years. Except now all that nerdiness (in a good way) is translated into helping me, her new patient! Very powerful. Even before she has me on the table, I completely understand what is going on with my alignment, back, hip, and foot. She is talking in words I understand, giving me exercise options, and thinking about other aspects of my health too. And then, the massage and manipulation before the adjustment feel so great! She spends time moving my body, applying pressure, flexing me, warming me, and even stretching my little fingers that are over-used on the computer at work. My favorite part was the adjustment. But Allison doesn't know that, and she is so sweet that she asks how I feel about adjustments first (I guess some folks don't like the cracking). She is an excellent chiropractor, with an excellent comprehensive approach to body and mind. And yes, Allison was an excellent roommate too :)

My wife (girlfriend at the time) was coming to Allison for regular maintenance after her recovery from a car accident. X-rays found that she had a Spondyosis and needed regular adjustments. Occasionally, I would accompany her to sessions. And eventually, because I sit in front of a monitor every day, they convinced me try it out. Truthfully, I never liked the sound of all that cracking so it did take a lot of convincing on their part. I especially recommend adjustments for new parents who are still carrying their kids. I've got a 2-year-old who, while I'm carrying him, likes to lunge at shiny stuff that he wants at random times; thus causing a spastic reaction in the attempt to prevent the dropping of said 2-year-old. It's murder on my lower back. My regular adjustment relieves the tightness from the excessive awkward body movement. Lastly, as a long distance runner I've noticed a lot of benefit from regular adjustments. After hours of the high impact it's a monthly relief of compression. Feels good.
