We love this place!! Alice was so kind to take us through the store looking for just the right color blue bag for my daughter's tap shoes she found there. It's such a cute spot and really reasonable prices. I love that it is family owned and nestled in S. Pasadena. We'll be back!

Performing in Iowa, the dance shows worked great on the strange surface.

The service is always great. I buy dance shoes as well as the most AMAZING, long lasting, nude fishnets there. There is literally no comparison. Please support this wonderful local business. They're prices are better than their competitors.

I have never been to a store like this, but my daughter just started ballet and needed pretty much everything. They were very helpful and didn't make a fuss when I needed to exchange her shoes for a larger size. They even stayed open for me because I was running late. I can't say much about pricing because I have nothing to compare them to, but I didn't feel like it was outrageous and everything seems high quality. From what I gathered through trusty Google, the brands that they carry are the popular brands so I'm happy... So is my lil one!

Got cheat on a pair of tight $13.11 NO EXCHANCE in policy.

Prices are great. The owner is most knowledgeable. My daughter and I love to shop here for all of our ballet needs.

Do not get fitted for pointe shoes here. I'm an adult "beginner," and just got approved for pointe…read more I went in for my first ever pair 3 weeks ago. First, the girl tried to give me children's toe pads (from the borrow box, mind you) and the other girl came out and had to correct her. As a beginner I didn't know what to expect but I was so excited. I thought I found a pair and took them home. I should have waited to sew them but I was so excited. I took them to class the next week and my teacher was stunned that they sold a first- time pointe dancer R-Class shoes. She said those ones notoriously twist (and that beginners usually start with Bloch or Capezio), but hopefully they'd be ok enough for now. The next week I had finished sewing them and tried to wear them for class. My teacher had us do ONE exercise and immediately asked me to take them off, she was afraid I was going to hurt myself with how much they were twisting. She took a picture, I asked her to send it to me and I'll post it when I get it. I tried to go back to see if there was anything they could do. I didn't expect a full refund but at least something. The same girl that gave me the children's toe pads told me there was nothing they could do (pretty rudely, actually), but a different girl called a manager or owner (not sure). Btw there was another customer in there who also had an issue with their shoes, and the original girl looked at the new one and asked if she knew the answer to the other customer's question and the new girl was like,"uhh idk?!" So neither of them knew what they were doing apparently. Anyway, the new girl talked on the phone for a bit and then asked if she could see them on. Of course, so we all went to the fitting area and I put them on. They both looked at the shoes and tried pushing the twisted shank back in place (by now I had put them on enough to feel it, and since my teacher pointed it out too), but the original girl said they "weren't twisting too bad." She also said, "I remember you, they looked great when you bought them so for them to be all of a sudden twisting means you sewed them wrong" (even though my teacher helped me??). I also pointed out that the first fitting, both girls kept trying to push them into place but since I didn't know any better I trusted them. She then replied that it's standard practice to "check" for twisting by pushing them into place and again gaslit me about what happened that first day. This worker was snarky and rude the whole time, like she thought she was better than me (maybe because I'm an older beginner? Idk). That was her energy at least. I wish I had gotten her name. To be fair, they did eventually offer a discount on a new pair but by that time with the snark, obvious lack of knowledge, and gaslighting there is no way I'm getting fitted by them again. Steer clear for sure. Now I'm out $135 and have a pair of pointe shoes I'll never be able to wear.
