It takes alot for me to give a poor review. My wife and kids went to this store to buy dance shoes. The lady was pushy and rude. She was pushy to get you to buy shoes. She commented you keep asking me to bring shoes so you can buy somewhere else. My wife called me while i was in the car and I told her to leave and not buy a single item. You need to try on shoes before you buy. That explains there was no one in the store. For her lack of customer service she lost a $500 sale. read more

DO NOT!!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE. They are rude are very unhelpful. I love shopping at small store likes this. But, I highly recommend either shopping online or at Dancers Barre Dancewear in Sherman Oaks. I bought a pair of tap shoes for my son here not even a month ago. He wore them 2 times and they broke. We called to get an exchange, as he only wore them 2 times and they are brand new (and still have the receipt) and they won't exchange. I understand it's a small store, but if you sell a faulty product, exchange it! I called to ask them about the exchange and they kept saying 'has your daughter worn them?' I kept having to repeat 'MY SON.' And only 2 times and the whole metal part fell off. They didn't care, wouldn't work with us. I have bought a lot of dance wear from this store and loved helping a small business out. But I won't be helping this store anymore... When I spend my money somewhere, I expect to at least get help if they sell a faulty product and not have a rude owner. But not here. Do not shop here. read more

What happened in the previous posts about the owner forcing you to buy is very true. I took my kid there to get dance shoes. And the shoes she tried on she was in between sizes. The lady wasn't very helpful and didn't know much about the shoes. I told her I'll think about it first and then she totally guilt tripped me about "taking out all these shoes, and that I'll just go buy it online". I understand the struggle of small business and people just buying the cheaper one online. But you can't treat your customers that way. Also the store is unorganized and looks like a storage room. Basically if you are unsure of what you're looking for and need some help finding a product, definitely do not go there. read more

The lady basically forced me to buy what we tried. Their rule is " if you tried, you must buy it". My daughter tried it but it seems too narrow so I asked her other kind of shoes and they did not have sizes so I said let me think about it. This is definitely a hole in the wall location. Driven by hundreds of times and never seen it. We went there for our class' assigned leotard and they had her size and color readily available. Such a tiny store but packed with dancewear. We also purchased shoes and tights. It's a convenient location that we will definitely be frequently going back to. read more

Ballerina dance where is the best dance place to shop. It has everything you need from shoes, to leotards ,skirts ,bags ,tights even hair products. I personally recommend their skirts, leotards, and shoes and much more. They have amazing prices. And they sell the best quality stuff. and their products last really long so you don't have to throw them away really quickly. They have a whole bunch of different sizes from adults all the way down to kids. They also sell some jewelry at the front counter which I think it's really cool. And you're probably thinking "oh it's called Ballerina Dancewear it's probably only for ballerinas" no they sell a bunch of other stuff they have shoes for tap dancing they have shoes for Latin and others . They even have their own dressing room where you can go ahead and try on anything you like. I also love the hair products they sell bobby pins, hair nets, and other stuff. they also sell legwarmers which I think it's really convenient during the winter. That pretty much sums up my review I love ballerina dancer and it's my favorite dance store I've probably ever been to. read more
