I would have recommended this place the last time I visited…read more But I I totally different bookstore by the employees. The employee at the front store was great and helped me at my friends. If the book table employed employees like the people at the front, I would recommend this place. The employee at the "candy part" of the store was so engrossed with talking with her family/friend that she didn't even recognize there was somebody there wanting to buy something? I only had it limited in the amount of time because I wanted to get something for someone and I only had a few minutes to get something and run it over to them. After about 510 minutes of the employee talking to their friends/family member they gave each other a hug and the ones that I hope things go better for you or something like that. The employee asked me if there was something that they could do and I said not anymore. the time was spent. I wanted something earlier. Plus, part of their store had mold in it. Could tell that water had fallen through and landed on the carpet. I could not even look at that section of the bookstore because of the mold.

I am a former employee of this useless…read moredisgusting establishment where I was treated like garbage from day one and was fired illegally ( which they do on a regular basis ). they treat their people of color employees and non Mormon employees like they aren't even people. The value of the stuff they put out on the sales floor is absolute garbage compared to the stuff they throw away, they throw away over half of the donations they receive so don't even bother donating to them. they hardly have any selection that isn't Mormon approved or just is a Mormon product, I can't tell you how many good things I had to throw away because It didn't fit the Mormon image. They bully employees in front of customers even if the customers threaten to go to the state about, they refuse to put out chairs for cashiers that have arthritis or any other medical problem. They will purposely under staff the teams during Saturdays and refuse to help out when we get slammed fully knowing Saturdays are our busiest day of the week. They make fun of customers who don't speak English like it's their fault for not speaking English and found it absolutely insulting to have to translate everything back into the customer's language. To the awfull managers Dave, Natalie, Matt, Chris, and Pajmeena I hope you know how much I hate you, you made my life hell while working there especially you Matt. I mean, I do take fault in the situation because I knew the moment I walked in there that everything was way overpriced, but being that it's an uncomfortable thing to shop for I just kind of trusted them. I even had a conversation with the sales girl about how uncomfortable I was spending so much money on such an item, but that I needed to learn to treat myself once in a while. After using the product and realizing it was a piece of garbage, I looked it up online and they charged me five times more than what it is worth. It is a $20-$30 item online and I paid over $130 for it. And of course there's no returns. I mean their point of sales system is so out of date. It literally makes 90s modem sounds. And beyond my situation the place is so ghetto. It feels like you're shopping in a trailer. There's no sound in there. It just feels like a really scary, lonely yard sale. I do not recommend.. and I also don't ever use Yelp or make comments about places so yeah, I'm kind of pissed.
