Came here for their Bentos, as per usual they are served with miso soup, fresh fruits side salad, cucumber sunomo, steamed rice and ice tea. Their bentos are fairly basic in package, but the less than stellar refinement leaves the value short of good, not bad, just underwhelming since you can spend a little more and get subjectively double the quality and satisfaction at Seryna at Little Tokyo. To be fair their market leans toward the afterwork crowd looking for a nice place to drink with good service.
Salmon Shio Yaki Bento (380 PHP)
Grilled salmon seasoned with salt and pepper served with French beans. Simple to make and mistake, our nicely grilled salmon was unevenly salted leaving some parts peaking and other parts lacking in salt.
Chicken Teriyaki Bento (300 PHP)
Grilled chicken thighs basted with teriyaki sauce served with French beans. Among the 3 we tried this is the set that's somewhat agreeable, but aside from the main dish the rest of the sides are all the same.
Buta Kakuni Bento (320 PHP)
Braised pork belly served with daikon and onsen tamago. Sad to report that my piece was dry and fatty beyond a good time, luckily Reyjohn was in-charge of consuming this belly fatting meal.
