a pepperoni pizza in a box

I'm a foodie who is always looking for a good meal and heard the pizza was good! My review can't comment on the experience itself, but can help you decide if you wanna eat here or grab something prior to coming to hang out! On that note, I'd say this pizza is below average and would recommend eating beforehand. I expected better out of a wood fired pizza. The crust is thin, cardboard style. Tasted alright just didn't meet my expectations.

A little crispy!!!

Pepp pizza was a LITTLE crispy! can live with that! what I can't live with is a place that serves apps pizza and wings runs out of ranch!!! who runs out of ranch and says "we were busy"! prep more ranch or go to united down the street and get some!

Love this place!! The atmosphere is very laid-back, but still very fun! I love how it's sorta out of town and rustic, gives me all the small town feels! #smalltownkid Great way to do something fun and also enjoy the gorgeous spring/summer nights in Lubbock! Also, I love Tyler Childers and the Texas Country that's always playing inside!

This is some good old fashion Lubbock fun. Very Unique. Picture a laid back one level shooting range a little like Top Golf. They have plenty of space here. They also have corn hole, the ring game and Crusty's Pizza, not to mention their full bar. The twinkle nights at night really set the mood for a chill evening with friends and chatting. The drinks are cheap and the bucket of balls are too. Bring your own clubs and have a ball. The bartenders and staff tend to all be high school students that are usually most helpful, but I have had a few misses. Nothing that will keep me away!

Ran out of golf balls 3 hours before closing. It's a driving range, I didn't expect them to run out.

Great atmosphere and great place to hang out with friends. Driving range and other games to kill time. Sometimes they have live music.

Once inside, we decided to buy the largest bucket of golf balls (there are three sizes), got drinks at the bar, and a pizza!

The service and staff make you feel welcome, they're friendly, quick - all the things you could ask for to enhance your experience. They offer it. The location is nice if you're anywhere near the Tech campus area. It's right on Broadway. Parking can be tough if it's busy. There is street parking and a lot, but neither are the most plentiful. The food is the real star though. Their wings are incredible, and they don't mess around with the spice. They can be hot! I love the jalapeño poppers. Where else gives you a real popper and not just a frozen and deep fried version? As for the pizza...I'm pleased to say it's the best part of an already awesome place. It doesn't matter what kind you get, you'll be happy with your choice. The Last Call Pizza deserves it's own paragraph. I think I can confidently say it's my favorite pizza of all time. And the second time I had it, confirmed just that. Look at this description - "Homemade smoky pizza sauce and alfredo sauce, topped with cheese, bacon, sausage, sunny-side-up eggs, and drizzled with our sriracha sauce". It's INCREDIBLE! Can't recommend this place enough, if you're in Lubbock get over here!

I will start off by saying sometimes the wait is excruciatingly slow for dine-in, whether it is almost empty or packed. However, takeout is usually pretty on top of it. Capital wins out if you like your crust a little doughy. There is this intense softness to their pizza that it is almost like tasting a cloud. It is legit. Some personal favorites of mine are their Hot Honey pizza, but this last time I ordered a Classic Margherita, and I loved it. It is really like no other pizza place I have been to, and I always find enjoyment in their immensely doughy crusts. It used to be only order over the phone, but it is nice to order online using Slice now because you do not have to preplan and prepare for a phone call. You just pick your pizzas and order. It is great. I enjoy dining in as well. The place feels pretty small, but there is a big overflow room in the back on busy nights. They have a full bar, which is pretty cool for keeping the party going. You do have to pay a little more than at your typical pizzeria, but I think the tradeoff is worth it. Capital Pizza, you have my heart. RIYL: Dough for days.

One Guy From Italy Family Restaurant - Sad pizza

What...was that?…read more Perhaps that's the issue. I remember what One Guy's used to be. It was formerly a place that I'd recommend to anyone visiting from out of town as a local favorite. It was a place I went when I cared less about convenience and using a coupon for some chain pizza and instead wanted something absolutely delicious. Sadly, it's not that anymore. The salad out front was decent enough, albeit pretty basic and definitely nothing special. The calzone was watery. Yes, watery. I don't even know how or why, but there was an excessive amount of watery liquid coming out of it. The pepperoni pizza was decent enough, but definitely no better than you're going to get from a chain, or (I can't believe I'm saying this) frozen. The sauce was particularly off-putting and gave me a different kind of nostalgia than I thought I would get eating here. It reminded me of eating Chef Boyardee vlin microwavable bowls as a kid. I was told that after taking the leftovers home and trying them the next day, they were even worse reheated. I didn't have that misfortune myself as I was done with it after the meal. The service was adequately good, but there was no crowd like I would have expected, and it's easy to see why. I'm fully aware of the reasons things may have gone a different direction (specifically downhill) at One Guy's and that there are now more options in town. I just hoped that this location still had some of that pizazz that made it special. Sadly, I was disappointed.
