Crème brûlée!
B W.

This is an excellent establishment! Do not miss this place if you are in NW Wisconsin for a visit. We drove nearly an hour to get there as we are staying near Webb Lake and it's worth every minute. We had New York steak, salmon, and fried cheese curds with sautéed brussel sprouts. Dessert was the crème brûlée. The cookie served with the dessert was outstanding! All were worth it and delicious. Best of all was the staff. Great job to the ownership in hiring quality people and obviously keeping them happy. That is hard to find lately.

Desserts: Salted-Caramel Bourbon Brownie and Creme Brulee - A layered dessert parfait with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and a spoon in a glass, served on a dark table.

Best Valentine's meal in years!!!! This was our first visit to The Ranch Supper Club, but now that we've had the experience we'll keep driving the 1+ hour to get there. We were seated at a comfy table by the fireplace and our stellar waitress, Julie, kept the flow of food and drinks moving at just the right pace. The meal started off with a cocktail shrimp appetizer that had plump and delicious shrimp, cocktail sauce and a lemon quarter. After that, the relish tray arrived with crisp veggies, pickled herring, pickles and cheese spread for the assortment of crackers. Our salads and dressings were also fresh and flavorful. My hubby and I both ordered the queen cut prime rib, his medium-rare and mine medium and each was cooked perfectly, had the right amount of seasoning, and was extremely tender. For dessert, he went with the maple bourbon crème brulee and I chose the salted-caramel bourbon brownie. Everything was so amazing that we made sure to buy a round for the kitchen (an option on the menu) and we left with smiles on our faces in a major food-coma. Many thanks to owners Nathan & Haley Bochler for the fabulous Valentine's dinner!

Service v good to excellent, lovely decor, beautiful views. Really enjoyed the relish tray with my meal.

Ribeye - A grilled steak with grill marks is served on a metal plate alongside roasted potatoes and carrot curls, with a knife and fork nearby.

Classic supper club atmosphere & fare. From the relish tray to dessert, the food is good and the service excellent. Highlights were the herring in the relish tray, clam chowder, the half & half (broiled & deep fried) cod, the Brandy Alexander, and 8 layer chocolate cake.

Menu

The food was very good. A table of 6 and the orders were: chicken and ribs, seafood trio, shrimp, braised chicken and walleye. Great portions and a great atmosphere. One thing though. The menu is HORRIBLY outdated and the prices are significantly higher than what's been posted here before. These pics are from today. Updated with pics

Love me some old WI supper clubs with and old fashioned.

Went fir our anniversary dinner while away for the weekend. You HAVE TO MAke A RESERVATION! We sat at the bar because the place was full, there were no tables available for walk ins. We had walleye and steak. God was good, old supper club style. Drinks were good, bartenders were very nice. Fun fact- my brother in laws first job in high school was a dishwasher here. He's been in the restaurant industry ever since!

Relish tray and old-fashioneds!

It is a bit of a bittersweet story about my first Pine Ridge experience. My grandma grew up in this…read morearea, and this was her favorite place to get fried fish. She always talked about it and would eat here any time she was back in the area. I hoped to visit with her someday. She was supposed to go in July 2025 with some family, but was sick and not able to make the trip from her home in KC. Unfortunately she recently passed away, and our family gathered in Wisconsin for her memorial service. Pine Ridge was so gracious and accommodating and opened early for about 30 of us to visit and have grandma's favorite fried fish experience after we had her service. It was unbelievably good, and I now know why grandma loved coming to Pine Ridge all those years. Nothing better than being with family enjoying amazing food. The staff was so kind and accommodating, the restaurant was beautiful, and none of us left hungry. Until next time!

Hands down - best fish fry experience in WI. Maryanne was the sweetest server I think I've ever…read moreencountered. Start to finish -- our expectations were exceeded. We started and finished our meal with fry bread, which was absolutely delicious. I appreciated that the fish fry was family style, and included broiled and fried fish AND fried chicken. All was absolutely delicious. The place itself is amazing. From the lake views, to the outdoor bar, it's a true up north gem. If you're in the area and don't visit, you're missing out. Tip - Arriving at 4pm guarantees you just enough time to enjoy an Old Fashioned before your table is ready. Get there 30 minutes later and you'll likely be waiting. Thanks, Pine Ridge for a wonderful experience!!

The Boulevard - Have you tried our Antipasto Skewers?

My family goes to Hayward each July 4, and while we have our favorites in town to eat at each…read moresummer, I always like to try something new. So my family asked me to pick a new-to-us spot. I chose The Boulevard after looking at the reviews. But overall, it was a meh experience unfortunately. I got a reservation for our large family group, and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. Besides us there were just a few more parties dining in. But while we were seated quickly, out experience then went downhill. The biggest problem: We had to wait nearly 90 minutes to get our entrees. We had to ask a few times what the hold-up was, and the owner (I think) ended up providing free desserts for the table to compensate. This helped, but still ... 90 minutes. And our entrees were a bit hit or miss. I got the shrimp alfredo, which didn't have much flavor. A couple of our other entrees were cold. My husband's pork chop was delicious, though, he said. It overall felt like The Boulevard didn't know what it wanted to be -- either more high-end with its entrees and prices or casual. I would be interested in trying it again, but hopefully our dinner won't take as long as it did on our first visit.

As I scan previous reviews-like the one from 2 years ago, the experience my Wife and I had was the…read moresame. Our table had a nice greeting card to make you feel welcome and appreciated, but it went down hill from there. We got our drinks quickly, placed our dinner orders-we both tried the "Nut Crusted Walleye, thinking we should try what you'd think was a Northern Wisconsin "specialty. Mind you, the price is $38 per dinner, so you'd expect the food quality to match the price-NO WAY. First-the owner misrepresents what comes out of his Kitchen by using Stock Photos you buy for advertising. I'll get back to the food quality in a bit. We got our salads quickly-probably because our Server plated them, but they came with our salad dressings in packets you get at places where the menu is behind a fast food service counter. Honestly, this is insulting, lazy and cheap for the cost. We then waited 25 minutes after the salads to get our Entree's. They were not busy, nor understaffed and we were the only seated table in the entire place, everyone else was at the bar and there we about 10 people who had already been there, so they hadn't ordered before us. At the 20-minute mark for getting our food, I asked our server about our meals, nicely, she proceeded to lie to us that our orders came in AFTER several others and it would be a few more minutes. When our food arrived, it was ALL beige, and the fish was obviously low-grade Walleye with fishy-tasting blood line inherent in low-grade product. The Lonesome Pine in Deerwood, MN has a $36.00 Walleye dinner to die for. The only thing good on the plate were the baked potatoes, which we smothered in butter and our second experience that night of "squeeze tube delivered" Sour Cream. In summary, I see the owner takes offense to criticism. He never said boo to us, but he looked over at us more than a few times as he and his pack of Bar regulars yakked and looked over their shoulders at the "strangers" in their watering hole. Just me and the Wife, looking for new places in the area we thought we'd try. We came with normal expectations, set by how the place is advertised, and it's nothing of the kind. People vote with their dollars. The owner should understand it makes no difference if the patrons aren't your long-time crew and you'd think that it would be a chance to get out from behind the bar, walk over to our table and just say "Thanks for coming in-we hope to see you again" Our bill was $110.00 BEFORE tip for a server who lied to us. She must be related to the owner.
