I understand they have closed the 1889 old lumber office building and opened in the old Pavillion spot on Main just north of Angler's. A local told me they have no food service as of yet, but I have not gone in this new location yet. It's a shame they closed that old historic building, I'm thinking they still make the beer there tho.

Food, atmosphere, staff and patrons were all amazing. I marked this place as one of my favorites so I can remember to stop here again next time I drive through.

Decent craft brewery. I've had their beer in cans, but this was my first visit to the actual brewery. They have a full bar, including cocktails and a kitchen. The brewery in on a basement level that you can see from the gift shop. Good service. Historic brick building. Nice bathrooms. Off street parking behind the building. I'll be back when in the area.... Beer flights available. And samples

Located in a 19th Century lumber office, Angry Minnow is a fun place to visit. The food is always fresh, delicious, and has great eye appeal. Their spent grain pretzel rods are awesome. While they have a full bar, having their own craft brews on tap is a great draw. Whether inside, or outside on their brick patio, the ambiance is enjoyable. The staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming.

A popular hang out for both visitors and locals. Rustic bar with a pub vibe atmosphere. Tasty selection of beer which include seasonal favorites like Belgium Blonde. A must stop if visiting the Hayward area.

Belgian Blonde is a very good light beer. Perfect for spotted cow lovers. Love the views of main street too.

We were fortunate enough to spend my grandpa's 103rd birthday here and enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly patrons and staff members. I'd like to thank the staff for allowing us to place our own tablecloth down and be so open to us serving cake to those near us. What a lovely evening we had! The signage is great & the property is fantastic. Staff are welcoming, energetic and plentiful. There are a variety of products available for purchase, such as soap made from the beer... pretty cool. Add in the very reasonable pricing. We had 2 pints and pretzel bites for $10 after our discount. So, the 3 stars come down to a brewery is only as good as its beer. While they do have some decent guest taps, the in-house brews are lacking. Finish on the summer wheat was like alka seltzer, and the porter was only a touch better. Worth a visit? Absolutely! Though I'd likely choose a guest tap offering instead

I can wax poetic about wandering around the building but, that can be for another time. The brewhouse is a cool place to hang after you've become weary of hitting all the shops on Canal street. Nestled in the old brewery you will experience first and foremost some solid beers (take some crowlers home with you), and some decent food. I think we at lunch here three times? I think one kind of gets tricked into eating here. One starts with a couple beers, then an appetizer, and the next thing you know, you're onto an entree without giving it a second thought. Honestly, I don't think I had anything or tasted anything that was bad. My favorites here are: 1. Poutine: fries, cheese curds, bacon and gravy? that is always a winner. 2. Elote Dip is super good. I'd fight somebody for the last scoop of the dip. 3. the Pretzels are good. Love the cheese sauce....I would ask for mustard too, but that is just me. 4. Pimento Cheeseburger is a favorite like the little bit of kick it offers with the Jalapenos, and it was made medium rare for me to boot I did try a bit of the Wild Rice burger. It was OK, non-meat options are not my gig for a burger. the person who ordered this, truly enjoyed it. I also want to mention the their beer is fresh, well-made, and there is usually a taproom only beer available. I have missed it the last few years but, they had a barleywine that was outstanding. I hope that comes back. If you're in Duluth it is totally worth the stop. Eat some food, drink some beers, buy some merch and support this local treasure.
