I've heard this place had the humongous cinnamon rolls and I knew I had to get one. The small could feed 3 people easily and the family size is HUGE. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and bacon. The bread was fresh made and the gravy was delicious! Coffee is always piping hot and service cannot be beat! This place gets busy and I can see why. The food was great, service was outstanding and the homemade bread, cookies and cinnamon rolls are the stars here. If you're ever by Millington, stop by here. Overcooked to the point of being dry. Too few grilled onions and melted cheese. The menu mentioned portabella mushrooms - they were very thick cut and hindered the sandwich. The bread is two thick-cut slices of a rye, grilled, but insufficiently crispy resulting with too much chew and poor mouthfeel. The fries were excellent! Very crispy. Very potato-y. Unsalted, thank you very much as I prefer my fries very, very lightly salted. The wet burrito was a hit for my buddy. Will I return? It is 2.5 hours away and the food is not worth the drive, but my friends are worth the drive and I will happily return.

I thought the portions were a little smaller than what I expected. My fajitas were good but they didn't come with any cheese which I thought was strange. Not even two steps inside and we were greeted and seated. Our server was super friendly and informative. I always ask the server popular and what they like personally. First evening, I opted for the fish since the turkey tacos were sold out. The fish was seasoned great. Not too salty. The sides were perfect. Couple that with the great customer service and price value, returning the next day was a no brainer. I'll definitely look forward to return to Sarah's Cafe whenever I'm back in Saginaw.
