i forgot to mention on my first review that try power roofing shingles are buckling, dont know…read moreif it is due to moisture or poor installation. when i aske the roofing guy from try power , as i had called him to view the roof and problems , i asked what it would cost to fix this, he said about 100 dollars. i will get the roof repaired but as i told him and i am telling you, i need someone i can trust to do the work, in my last review i mentioned that i bought 15 sheets of 3/4 plywood to go on the roof, when i came home the roofers had left and the ply wood was gone, and it wasnt on the roof. i cant believe in such a short time i was gone before they finished and i returned that someone came in and took fifteen sheets of plywood. try power denied taking the wood, but i had been warned that they do stuff like that. seriously i cant give any stars.

We hired Radical Design and Construction to do Hardie siding, windows and door installation on our…read morebuilding. They did a very disgraceful work. The siding needs to be removed, dumped and reinstalled with brand new materials. The windows and the door are out of plumb. No flashing was installed anywhere . The window framing is missing from inside . We asked Dwaine to come up with some solution but he refused it. When we asked for reimbursement, he became verbally aggressive. When we reported Radical design and construction to BBB and Attorney General, he answered with lies and accusations without any proof . We don't recommend his service.

They were going to start our roof in about 4 weeks when a wind storm blew of a good chunk of our old shingles exposing large gaps in our roof. One call and Bill rushed right over to put up a quick patch. That was such a huge relief. He then decided the roof couldn't wait, even though our financing had not been finalized yet. They completed the roof in 5 days. Just before another huge February storm. I would highly recommend them.

I was actually given his name by another business owner I have used recently whom I trust completely. They were here bright and early left the place looking better than it did before. I really liked how quiet they were and how they all worked together. I'm so happy I was given his number as I will be using him in the future for other projects. I did notice that if he isn't happy with something he will fix it to make it just right. Thank you Rob and crew! You certainly have a great team! Highly recommend

We recently had our roof and three skylights replaced by Phelps Brothers, and they were - in a word…read more- excellent. Jamie was efficient and responsive with the initial estimate and follow-up questions we had and promptly provided us with both samples and addresses of customers where we could check out their work. Within a half-hour of starting work on "day 1," the workers realized our roof was one of a rare 2% of roofs built in a particularly solid way "back when," but one that would make the roof replacement work more challenging. The project director, Tony, consulted with Phelps Brothers' owner, and within minutes they agreed to proceed as originally planned. This initial roadblock was handled in a transparent manner and quickly resolved. The work was done quickly and efficiently over two days, with a special focus on not damaging flower beds all around the house (the job was done in mid-April, so a lot of new growth, none of which was damaged!). On the back of our furnace chimney, Phelps built a cricket, or diverter, to lessen the impact of rain on the actual brick. This was done because it was needed, not because we had requested it, and it wasn't included in the original, approved estimate. Just an example of Phelps Brothers going above and beyond to provide high-quality work. Tony was a real pleasure to work with - pleasant to deal with, super patient and direct with answering our questions. He even came back weeks later to patch/glue a bluestone chip that had been slightly damaged. Now that's service! His team of roofers were super hard-working and friendly. All in all, every person we dealt with at Phelps Brothers was friendly and professional. Our roof looks great; a real upgrade to our home. We would enthusiastically use them again and would recommend Phelps Brothers for any roofing needs.

Rob was a perfect fit for the project being a solo-craftsman where he had ultimate control of quality; no subs to chase around and no need communicate the scope and details through multiple parties. Rob being a solo contractor was certainly not limiting either; the project had a mix of structural floor framing, new and replacement windows, exterior door and trim modifications, and many interior finish details to execute. I can't emphasize craftsman enough. He knows how to achieve high quality results with his process. He has solutions and tricks-of-the-trade for any issues and 'head scratchers' we had along the way.
