You'll never want another DJ! I have been part of multiple events where the Quake was the DJ and to each one he brings an incredible amount of enthusiasm, positivity and professionalism. I have booked him multiple times for my company events and I'll never use anyone else. If you're an event planner you'll know how great it is to have one important piece of your event that you don't have to worry about. Efren comes in on time, quickly sets up everything in place and is ready on time. He always knows what music to play to cater to the crowd and I usually have to chase everyone out of the event because they don't want to stop dancing. In addition, his fee is quite reasonable. If you want your event to be memorable, I recommend you add the Quake to the mix! read more

From start to finish, Efren was very trusting and professional, and gave me advice on everything that really matters when hiring a dj. His expertise is unmatched and I will absolutely hire him again, should I ever need dj services again ( I have 3 more daughters that are unmarried right now and I'm sure I will need a dj when the time comes). His dj service charge is very reasonable and can't be beat. My daughter and brand new son-in-law were very pleased, and the guest enjoyed EVERYTHING he played. He read the party so perfectly, that there was never a song where no one was on the dance floor. Mahalo Efren for the FABULOUS evening. Whoever hires you will be very happy and pleased, as we were. We met with Efren and from the beginning we knew that he would make our wedding day special. He is really passionate about music and his job. At the first consult, where we discussed our music likes and dislikes, he really listened to us and was able to tailor our wedding play list to represent us as a couple. People could not get enough of the music and were on the dance floor the entire night. We even had some of our family members that never dance on the dance floor! Efren was very easy to work with and was always just a phone call away whenever we had a question. He made our special day stand out from the rest. You cannot go wrong with The Quake Mobile DJ's. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Don't apologize for the rain. I loved that it rained. But it was not raining when you butchered the song I was supposed to walk down the aisle to. It took way longer than 20 minutes for you to "move to safety" from the 5 minutes of extremely light sprinkling. Own up to your numerous other mistakes you made before and after the rain and don't sound so calm and level headed in your responses because that sure wasn't how you were that night. Focus on the music, leave the planning to the people who are paying for everything, including your over priced "services." The rain didn't ruin a thing, you did. read more

I can't thank this business enough they helped me with all my concerns not only about the music but keeping my wedding party on the correct timing. They did a beautiful job and went above and beyond by always answering every question I had and helping out my photographer half the day. I had the Efren do my reception when my husband and I returned from Hawaii after getting married over there. He was very professional and caring. I also saw the show "Jersey Boys" here. Every year they do a Broadway series of around five or six shows, and then they have other entertainers come in as well. It's definitely an asset to the community. It's a great venue. They have two theaters. The larger theater holds about 1200 people, all of the seats are good, they are comfortable, with a great sound system. I haven't been into the smaller theater, but that holds about 450 people. The theater is well kept, and all of the employees are friendly. Street parking is limited, but there is a big garage only about a block and a half away, and the best thing is, they only charge five bucks for parking. They don't check your tickets when you first walk into the building , because they have a ticket office and a will call desk in the lobby.. They check your tickets. Once you head into the theater. Prices are typical for what you would pay at other venues. Of course, it depends on how close you are sitting to the stage one thing. Be sure that you buy tickets from the official Gallo center webpage. Several ticket brokers. Make it look like they are the official page, but they are not, and you will pay a pretty penny more They have a decent concession area, with beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks., the only thing is, if you want to take your drink into the theater, , and you don't have one, you have to buy one of their "souvenir cups" with a lid for an additional three bucks. Just keep it and you won't have to pay that again. The show I saw this time around, was "Mrs. Doubtfire, the musical." as strange as that sounds, it's a wonderful show. No, you are not getting Sally Field or Robin Williams, but the people who played the roles were absolutely fantastic. The kids were really cute too. I had seen the show on Broadway, and when I saw it was coming to Modesto, I just had to see it again. Just an overall great evening, well worth the drive down. Thank you
