The food & drinks are great, especially the seasonal ones, just kind of pricey for the serving sizes. I'd go there more often if the prices were lower, but it's still a really good place to get a treat and chill out.

Wanting to try a coffee shop while in Hammond Louisiana I stopped by Luma Coffee Roasters…read more I ordered the two drink specials from Luma Turns Five! I had the Max's Cake and the Ruby's Cake (I swapped the matcha for espresso). I also tried the Chantilly Coldie, an avocado toast with a fried egg, and two jerky links. Out of everything I ordered, my favorites were definitely the Max's Cake and the avocado toast. Both were really good and tasty. I'd actually come back to try two other items I was saw on the menu. The baristas were sooooo sweet, friendly, and informative. The ambiance was also spacious, with high ceilings, and plenty of room to move around without feeling crowded. If you're in Hammond, I'd definitely recommend stopping by.

Lots of sugar free options, which is nice to see as some other locations have very limited flavors. The drink was a bit heavy on the half and half, so I would've asked for less of it if I had known, but it tasted good and they had it ready for me within a minute. Very fast! I can see why they had several cars in both lanes and would be eager to try some of their other flavors.

The bathrooms are clean even if one of the doors doesn't latch well. We tried the chocolate Bavarian cream stuffed beignets and the regular beignets and the cafe au lait. The beignets are the best I had anywhere. They were a nice size and they were light and fluffy and covered in powdered sugar. The cafe au lait was just ok, I think we liked it better the cafe au lait mixed half and half with the French roast coffee for a stronger coffee flavor. The service was great. Very friendly and helpful and we don't wait too long to take our food with us. You can sit and eat in also but we were on our way through. We loved how coffee house is tucked into a little antique shop Cajun village. It has Cajun country music playing and there are stuffed gators around and lot of interesting antiques. I wish it were closer to more things to do, but if you're on the road from Nola to Baton Rouge it is a definite must! I really hope to go back with more time and try more interesting things.

Nice and smooth, without the slightly harsh after taste you get from so many other coffees around. It's amazing! The service is far above average! Always friendly and extremely helpful. You don't feel rushed to make a decision and they always help you out with suggestions if needed. It feels like... You're at a friend's house. The volume is usually low on background music & customers talking, which adds to the mellow feel. Honestly, I can't find one thing wrong with this place. There's even a bagel menu, full of choices of your hungry. Great place to hang and work, read, chat, or just chill. I'd highly recommend it! Love this little place! Very eclectic and cool. The Staff is friendly and helpful. The crepes look delish (Although I didn't try one this time), and the coffee was amazing! Freshly made to order and served in cute sky blue cups. WiFi avail and low music in the background. There is also a small courtyard in the back and a few tables out front as well if you prefer to sit and enjoy the great outdoors. Lots of choices for coffee, teas, and yes Crepes (Which I'll be trying next time!!) I'll certainly be back! I'd recommend this little spot to all. I was glad to see one as I pulled in. In comparison, PJs might be better than Starbucks in my opinion as far as tastes, price and items to order. However, the only thing that Starbucks beats them at is they have an App where you can order ahead and pay within the App. Starbucks App has promotions too. PJs needs to build more stores and an App and they could give Starbucks a run for their money.
