I like this coffee shop. I was happy that I came here this morning. I asked for a small coffee with cream and sugar. Well, they put just the right amount of cream and sugar in it that I liked. What I received was great customer service and the person at the drive thru was friendly. She even told me to have a great day as I left. Yes, this coffee shop does have a drive thru. I was looking online and couldn't tell whether it had a drive thru or not. I was glad to see one as I pulled in. In comparison, PJs might be better than Starbucks in my opinion as far as tastes, price and items to order. However, the only thing that Starbucks beats them at is they have an App where you can order ahead and pay within the App. Starbucks App has promotions too. PJs needs to build more stores and an App and they could give Starbucks a run for their money. read more

PJ's Coffee in McComb is a welcome reprieve from the rest of the coffee that this small town offers. The young lady working the cafe, was from CA, and understands the importance of recycling and composting from that store. We are both stunned that McComb doesn't recycle. She kindly let me use another brand coffee plastic cup to reduce waste and mixed two excellent drinks for myself and husband. We will be back when visiting again. read more

No one would answer the phone. It was clearly open at 5:00 on Saturday afternoon. I saw people inside enjoying themselves. I wish I was able to go inside too but I'm not. Came here for much needed caffeine after a long night. It took FOREVER to get a cappuccino! There were 3 people who came after me and got their coffee before I got my order. Message for management: Cadence is an unacceptable worker! I will never be back as long as she's working. I pulled up and immediately was greeted with "what do u guys want" at first no big deal, but still not a way to greet a customer. I ordered and said my points should make this drink free and she said "huh k" with a little rude laugh and an eye roll. I ignored it once again. Then she gives our order out and the caramel frappe is white as snow no caramel in it. I said I don't want coffee but anywhere I've went caramel frappes are always at least a tint of brown if mixed with caramel. so I said what's this and she said a "vanilla frappe" and I repeated I wanted a caramel one. she took it back and i said we have somewhere to go and running late already so I'll be back in 30 minutes to get it. Rudely she said "uh k" just bland, rude attitude the whole time. I come back she slaps the old frappe from 30 minutes ago melted into milk on the counter and said there it is. At this point I'm fed up. I said please make me a fresh one as to why I left this one in the first place. The other girl worked was sweet and fixed me a new one. So thank you! Just drove up to grab a tea at 8:55 when they are supposed to close at 9, and a guy loitering by the front door motions that they are closed. Starbucks and every other place I've been closes when it closes, not shutting everything down before. The only credit I can give is that all of McComb pretty much has the same attitude towards customer service in the food industry. read more

They're always friendly and quick about getting my tea out in the drive through. Their sweet tea is wayyyy too sweet for me. I do 1/2 unsweet in mine. Other than that it's good tea. I would definitely recommend giving them a try. Their "velvet ice" (frapuccino) is really good. I'd say their green tea velvet ice rivals Starbucks. read more

If you're a coffee-lover, you'll find this place hit or miss. When the coffee is fresh, it's pretty good. The roast is usually medium to dark. A cup of black coffee has enough flavor to enjoy it plain and black. The iced coffee is really tasty and not too acidic. In both cases, the coffee isn't very strong, but the flavor is enjoyable enough to appreciate the roast and brew for what they are. HOWEVER, when I'm in town, I make 1-2 trips a day for coffee. Half the time, I get coffee that isn't fresh and that has clearly been sitting out for a while, either in the pot/dispenser or in the refrigerator. I don't really do sugar-y drinks. I enjoy and appreciate coffee for what it is; PJ's, a coffee shop, is expected to have top notch basics all day everyday, in my opinion. The baked goods they have always look fresh. The service is friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. This PJ's has a lot going for it! It's just the baseline, simple part of it -- coffee -- lacks as often as it satisfies. read more

I always stop at PJs on my road trips. I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried. My favorite is the granita, a delicious frozen coffee beverage that can be flavored with your syrup of choice. This location is about a half mile off the freeway so perfect for a road trip coffee stop. Service was fantastic, the girl working was super nice and made sure I liked my drink before I left. Great cappuccino and Most of the staff is friendly BUT the morning service is exceptionally slow sometimes. The line runs all the way back to the street. If the woman working this morning wouldn't have been catering to her rude family/friend, whatever they were, the service would have been a lot better and faster. I go here almost every morning and it always the same worker that has the line backed up Every Time. I believe the morning staff should be reevaluated. read more
