The Punchline used to be located over in Sandy Springs but relocated to this Diner. It sits off Roswell Rd, near the Buckhead side of town & Felini's Pizza. There is ample parking if you're catching the first show of a series but plan to wait for parking if you arrive for any later shows. Entering is confusing. You actually need to enter the Diner main entrance, and you'll see the Punchline entrance on your left as you walk in. Or, you can be clueless like us, and walk up the ramp to the locked Exit door. Seating is tight in here. I recall this space being used in the past for stand-up nights and being very open with seating. Then again, these were mostly nobodies trying to start a career for themselves in comedy. Our table had about 12 people and drink service was slooooooooow. Assuming they might have been short staffed, but it took our waitress about 15 minutes to get to us, and she greeted the newer people that came in after us. I will say, they made my bourbon/sprite strong! The comic we came to see was HILARIOUS. Best performance I've seen. So this place draws top talent! Plus, the cost was not bad at all ($25/person and you do get an assigned seat when ordering online). We also got a photo with the comic afterwards While this isn't a place you'd pick for atmosphere or comfort (or fast drink service), I do recommend it for any comedian you like and want a more intimate setting with. We felt up close and personal during the performance, and that was priceless!

This is half of the Landmark Diner building. Nice intimate venue to see comedy shows. I like the visibility and proximity to the stage from any seat (there are no bad seats). It took a long time to get a waiter to our table even after going to the front and asking (after waiting for a while). We didn't get drinks until about 15-20 minutes into the comedy show. Everything else was good, and I'll be back!

We were lucky enough to have Michael Palascak & Jamie Bendall Wednesday night when I visited. They were excellent! However, food is served by Landmark Diner. Fair from bad but not top shelf dining. The club is intimate. Seating for the club could be more comfortable and table setting is cramped especially for bigger people. Besides opening up the room a little bit, this is a great place to see a set!

This was my 1st time at this location. I used to go to the old site all of the time. There is MUCH BETTER parking here (large lot) and a more extensive menu. It is connected to the landmark diner (hence the more extensive menu). The drinks were nice and strong & Alvaro was an excellent server. The wings & fries weren't the greatest, but the fried artichoke hearts were delicious! We appreciated the free slice of cake for my mom's bday. Every seat has a great view. All comedians were great (the first one in all previous shows wasn't always the greatest). I miss the coupon codes they used to leave on the table way back in the day cause I'd love to come back (without the $17 handling online fee). Overall great experience!

The Punchline is iconic to the comedic circuit and Atlanta. This was my first time here and it's in the basement of the Landmark Diner. The state of the building of the diner and the inside of the comedy club, you can tell this place is OLD. We had to wear masks when we visited on 08/22/2020, and when I took it off to take a sip of water, you could smell the "old" of the establishment. The club itself is draped in burgundy crushed velvet curtains and yet the seating was plain black tables and chairs - if they had designed this place with the esthetic of the drapes, this place would be a vibe. Service here was very nice and the food and drinks we ordered came from the Landmark Diner on the 2nd floor. Drinks we're good and not too strong but expensive. Food on the other was lack luster. I ordered a Monte Cristo and it was a soggy mess. The sweet French toast with the turkey, ham and cheese was just off putting. The fries were really good and had a crispy coating to them. Servers and staff wore masks and the room max was 60 people. Tables were taped off and everyone was spaced out okay. We came to see Jeff Heffron, impromptu as tickets were not going to be used.

If we come for an 8pm show, are we required to leave at 10 when the next show starts?

Yes. You would have to buy a separate ticket for the 10 PM show. At the show I went to, we all have to leave once it was time for the next show.

We arrived around 2:30 and was there until 9:00 pm for the taping of 2 shows. Not even a cracker was provided to eat! Cheap, ghetto and classless is what I call it! There is not even a vending machine. I never saw on any correspondence that taping would be that long and nothing to snack on available. Tyler Perry, Steve Harvey and Family Feud bring in toooo much money for not even a small pack of peanut butter crackers, a granola bar or even a 25 cent bag of chips to be served!!! I was totally disgusted and turned off by this because although it was a free taping----you wouldn't be able to do it without a live audience!! A little bit of appreciation for 7-8 hours of your time would have been nice. The staff seemed mean, over worked and underpaid. No smiles other than the production manager who had a curly natural fro ponytail. There was a heavyset black guy with a black winter beanie cap on that told my daughter the Smart Pop popcorn was for people who were there all day.! Well wtf do you call 2-9pm. Then to make matters worst, the staff and family members of the contestants are hot lunches in our faces. It was so classless! Steve Harvey and the hype man were so cool though and really provide for lots of laughs. Steve even left us on a spiritual note. He is definitely a natural comedian and speaker. Now that was a 5 star experience! Just Steve, hypeman, music, and the show itself 5 stars! The production company and the professionalism and hospitality of this place is a 3 and that's being nice. Overall, moving forward I would not recommend spending your precious off day setting around starving all day to see the show. I'll just watch from home but should you happen to read my review and go------ Eat a heavy meal before hand bc these cheap ass folks will not even provide a saltine cracker. If times are that hard they should just stop taping. I went to a few live taping and they at least provide light snacks via vending machine or free lay out. Despicable and changed the way I look at Tyler Perry Studios. Production company needs to get it together. Would never return and don't recommend!

I came here with my best friends to celebrate my birthday, my friend's birthday, my other friends newly published devotional and my other friend's promotion at work. This was probably my 4th time here. Parking is behind the building and they have a ton of spots with gravel parking and paved (directions might lead you to the front). The lobby has two rooms, with comfy seating, restrooms, bar (beer and wine), ticket area and a place to take group photos. Things have changed on seating here due to Covid but for the better. You can now buy a table for two, table for 4 and VIP seating. Cost ranges from $70-$90, but comes out to about $20-$45/person. Any table purchase you make comes with all the tickets. Most shows are about an hour and a half long, with one intermission for you to use the bathroom or grab drinks. A majority of the improv depends on participation from the audience, so be ready to give direction on what the skit will be like. One of the best portions of the show was when my friend Keni got asked about her Hot Air Balloon she did recently, and the Improv Actors did a "fortunately, unfortunately" sketch on it. One of the funniest things I've seen. It's always a great time when you go, and you're going to get something fairly new and unexpected every time. Some actors are much more entertaining too, as they can create comedy out of thin air. They also hold Improv classes for adults and work with children too (the host mentioned something Nickelodeon themed). Highly recommend! This was purely a friends outing, but this spot is perfect for dates too or any type of celebration.

It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Water, unsweetened tea and coffee was included. They offered a cash bar or you could purchase drinks from the hotel lobby bar. The whole thing lasted about 3.5 hours with a few breaks/intermissions. It was decently entertaining, I had several good laughs. Overall it was an OK event for a new experience. I enjoyed the entertainment but found the food to be lacking. Thus, I feel the event was a bit over priced. The experience is going to be more or less what you make of it. I told my granddaughter we were going to get heckled for coming in late but gratefully- a guy on the other end of the room was the target of the comediennes jokes! #whew. Happy to dodge that bullet. My granddaughter liked her food and drink. It was dimly lit so no pics of food and a flash would have DEFINITELY put a target on our heads lol. The club has a large lobby area that unfortunately we didn't get to check it out because of our tardiness. It's seemed cool. Large artwork of comedians lined the walls and a step and repeat for picture ops. Our seating was a comfortable four top. The tickets were accessible through my Apple wallet and worked without any issues. I arrived about 10 minutes prior to what was noted as the start time of 7pm. We were seated quickly. This place still packs the place! Note that you will be in the building like a can of sardines! They are getting all the money they can !! NOTE : there is a 2 item order minimum or a $15 surcharge per person. I would highly recommend just paying the $15 surcharge . The food and drinks are over priced for what you get . A bottle of 500ml of FUJI water is $7- Yeah that's right! The website notes you can get another bottle brand for $4, however, they automatically sell you the FUJI! I also ordered the wing basket that comes with fries. My friend ordered the quesadillas. We both agree the food was basic and nothing to recommend. As noted in my review 9 years ago- the show did NOT start on time! I would say there is no need to arrive on time . The show will not start on time. The only saving grace is that this border theater attracts the best talent! It is the only reason I will continue to patronize . Check it out knowing the following: 1. The place will be packed. You will not have any personal space 2. Food and drinks are over priced - and average at best 3. If you don't want to waste your money on the food and drinks just pay the $15 surcharge 4. If you order water, ask for the $4 water

Parking: There are some parking lots in the area and then some on street parking (but limited). We parked in a garage, smells like piss, and sewer water. AND literal bums using the floors levels as their bedrooms. It's Atlanta what can I say! If you aren't familiar with the underground - it's a section of plaza like stores 5 floors down. The elevators don't work so you'll have to walk down and walk back up! The comedy club is on the lowest level. Staff: They are good at moving people out of your seat if they are sitting in the wrong seat but that's about it. Your table server never comes back - they want payment upfront and they don't bring you everything you order. I was thirsty almost the entire time. I personally think it's crazy not to bring people out waters as a courtesy first! They pack you like sardines. It was so tight you can barely turn around. Like a literal can of sardines I felt like. The seating is much tighter than it shows for the online seating chart so just know to pick whatever seat you want. The food was okay! Nothing spectacular and I did not order a drink. One other thing to note, with that being my first time - I had no clue where the bathroom was. It just wasn't present and wasn't obvious! They also have a sign on the door that says there's a "2 item minimum purchase or a $15 surcharge". How dare you force me to buy some of your food and I don't even know if I want to? Then they say stuff like take care of your folks in the underground! I am not a fan of "supporting black business just because it's black". Please have decent customer service and a great experience!
