I recently attended an event here as part of a family activity. The tickets were purchased online and stated that we needed to arrive early and dress in business casual. I believe there was also a minimum age as well. At ticker purchase you select your dinner option and can list the people with whom you wish to be seated. It is located inside of a hotel so parking was free. The event begins for you pretty much as soon as you check in and are shown to your table. Everyone with a name tag is a suspect. Some instructions are available at the table and it is an interactive event. You are given some time at the beginning to mingle and gather clues for suspects. The actors perform their skit while incorporating various members of the audience. The audience is given more clues and you have to do your write up on who the kill is and what happened. The winner gets a prize at the end of the show. The dinner consisted of rolls with a salad with 2 dressing options, an entree of vegetables or vegetables with choice of chicken or salmon and a slice of cheesecake for dessert. It was just ok, nothing to write home about. Water, unsweetened tea and coffee was included. They offered a cash bar or you could purchase drinks from the hotel lobby bar. The whole thing lasted about 3.5 hours with a few breaks/intermissions. It was decently entertaining, I had several good laughs. Overall it was an OK event for a new experience. I enjoyed the entertainment but found the food to be lacking. Thus, I feel the event was a bit over priced. The experience is going to be more or less what you make of it. In this case, I'll have to leave you to decide for yourself if you'd like to try it. read more

The person in charge was ride from the beginning. The salad was wilted (think it was on the table for hours before we arrived....not fresh) ...never had our water refilled...fish was cold and was meant to be served warm. If the experience Is meant to be a hazing...they did a good job...but probably should advertise it as such. Not a fun experience. read more

POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FALSE - PEOPLE JUST GETTING A SHOT GLASS This was the worst waste of time and money in my life. There was nothing fun about it. You are placed at a table of strangers, and told to chat. Well, the people at our table didn't feel like chatting. Everyone just sat there quiet. You have this a long list of questions you're supposed to ask each other, but the questions have nothing to do with any sort of a mystery. Nothing was mysterious about it. It was absolutely stupid and very boring. The only reason there are any positive reviews anywhere online is because if you write one while you were there and show it to them, they give you a "free" shot glass. I can't tell you how many people were so excited just to get a free stupid shot glass, which they already over paid for! The dinner was atrocious. Absolutely disgusting. They call it an amazing four course meal. Well, there were three, and they were all disgusting. Even the iced tea was disgusting. There were two people there from Georgia and they said it was the worst tea they had ever tasted in their lives, and none of us even drank it. It wasn't that it was unsweetened, it was just disgusting. I don't know what they made it out of, but it was not tea. They want you to buy alcohol, that makes them even more money. We got the chicken. It was inedible. It just tasted like black pepper. Like you were licking the pepper shaker. It was so disgusting. To make matters worse, it came out an hour after all the other meals. So at first the people who got fish or vegetarian were just sitting there politely trying to wait, but we told them go ahead, eat it while it's warm. It was literally one hour later when we got the chicken. There was a woman at her table who was diabetic, and our meals came 15 minutes before the end of the event. I won't even call it a show, because it certainly was not one. She was literally collapsing into her lap - I sought help several times and asked could she please get her meal before anyone else; they were completely unsympathetic and did not help her. I didn't even know this lady, but it was very sad and unacceptable. I had paid extra money for my friend to be part of the show. Basically being part of the show just meant that they came over and talked to her and said "you're a person of interest." She just stood there looking uncomfortable, and that was the end of it. She was not involved in any way. It was such a boring stupid "show" that really only had two "actors." Please please please do not waste your money on this horrible, horrible scam! Oh, and by the way, the vegetarian meal was just a pile of side vegetables like green beans. It was nothing like an actual meal, like eggplant parmesan, vegetable lasagna or vegetarian chili. It was just steamed vegetables. Everything was so disgusting. Even the dessert was disgusting. And there was no fourth course. Everything was absolutely inedible. I left the room about a half an hour before it was over, since I still had not received my meal, and tried to get something at the hotel bar. The bartender was very sympathetic. He had no food, and sent me over to a little shop where I bought a granola bar. He came and found me there and he stuffed three bags of peanuts into my purse and he said, "Don't tell anyone, I'm really sorry, I know it's terrible." read more

Dress code says to dress up although several people weren't. It was more of a dramatic theatrical experience than I expected and the food was just ok. They wanted you to put on name tags with an alias name and get up and go question the other guests. It wasn't what I expected. The actors were loud and it was kind of cheesy. The bar was overpriced! $5 for a can soda is robbery! You can buy a whole 12 pack for that price. They take your picture at the beginning but want $35 for it. Cruise ship professional pictures don't even cost that much! I felt like the $60+ tickets plus $15 parking plus any bar drinks and tip they ask for actors made this an expensive night which wasn't worth it. I fell asleep towards the end. Upon arrival to the Marriott-suites- hotel in midtown, we joined a long line of guests waiting for entry. During check in, the ushers gifted us with mugs in exchanged for our print out groupon/living social vouchers. We were asked to write down our alias names on our name tags. Some opted for "Sherlock Holmes," others went with "Farmer Joe." ;) We were seated 10 to a table . The conference was full to capacity. It must have been at least 7-10 tables in the room. We were given a table number to our designated dinning area. The waiters were already there waiting to serve tea, coffee & hors d'oeuvres. The servers brought trays of hors d'oeuvres with the following selection: Roasted Garlic Hummus with Grilled Pita Bread House Made Pimento Cheese with a Bacon Marmalade Served with Toasted Crostini Deviled Eggs with Ham, Swiss and Tortilla Slivers There were also house salads. For dinner: we had Entrée Selections of: Grilled Breast of Chicken with a Parsley Butter and Drizzled in a Garlic Cream Sauce Accompanied by a Single Vegetable Lasagna Roulade Seared Lemon Tilapia Filet Served with Rice Pilaf and Grilled Seasonal Vegetables House Made Vegetable Lasagna Roulades Stuffed with Fresh Seasonal Vegetables and Cheeses During online reservation, you are asked to make your selection of the entree. Throughout dinner, there was the interactive show of "whodunnit?." Before the show began everyone was asked to mingle and ask questions to gather a list of potential suspects. Some of the actors were embedded to be part of the guests. So the suspects could be just about anyone! Once the main actors entered, dinner also began. We were given clues to read as the actors play out the storyline. The clues were given so that you can put together the story, find out the motive & narrow down the suspects to find the murderer. I've always been intrigued with the idea of a mystery dinner and playing detective. In theory the concept has the makings to inspired my inner Nancy Drew. In reality, it was...awkward. I had imagined the atmosphere to be more intimate & mysterious. Just enough guests to surround a large dinner table. Because it was such a large conference room, the room was packed. So depending where your table is located, it's hard to see what the actors are doing most of the time. The acting is overly dramatic at time but I understand it was meant to be funny & entertaining. The jokes are a little short in coming but they do try. It was an interesting experience overall but not something I would do again. However, i do feel if it was a smaller group then it would be easier for everyone to interact and really become part of the story & mystery. read more

I also went on opening night and I had a great time. The bar was fast and took credit cards. The show was very funny and entertaining , like a dinner murder mystery should be. The crowd mingled well amongst each other and seemed really enthused with the instructions they were given. We were so suprised when the 1st victim was actually sitting at our table! We never saw that coming. I think this company did great for their opening night and will only get better at what they do... If you haven't done something like this before, grab a date and go!! We went to the dinner show last night and really enjoyed ourselves. We have been to 2 other mystery dinner theaters before and this is our favorite so far. While the food is what I call "good conference food", the show was very entertaining. The staff was very friendly and the cast was awesome. One of the best spent 3 hours and $60/pp in Atlanta we have had. While there is a list of things I would improve, we (as Atlanta) need to support businesses like this that are trying to bring new and different to the ATL. Very disappointed in this purchase. The show was basically the characters asking people what they did for a living. Had a "talent show" with people twerking... Really cut into the "show time". Wanted to solve a mystery not see this kind of behavior. The "intro" lasted into about 2 mins before show end. The appetizers were cold bread with cheeze wiz and bacon bits. Location was great, we parked in parking lot next door to the hotel, easy and inexpensive, the checking in to the event was fast and easy, hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they has a bar set up with all kind of drinks, we had 1 drink and sat down to wait for show; they started putting out yummy appetizers, food was absolutely amazing, we got the chicken plate; service was great, the show was hilarious, entertaining and very very well put together, actors were sharp and spontaneous... A complete waste of $59 dollars plus the $8 I spent to park in the parking lot next door. This was not what I was expecting at all. This was more of a 'comedy' show performed primarily by two lame 'detectives' and the audience. There was no reenactment of the events that led up to the murder or the murder itself. Unless you count the audience members they asked to run in the room, scream and then fall on the floor and pretend to be stabbed. We read clues off a handwritten note, newspaper article, and obituary at our table. We also have an opportunity to walk around the room and ask questions of the guests. The food was just okay, typical hotel meeting/conference food. The only positive of the night was the waitstaff who were very attentive. read more

GREAT DATE NIGHT! Very fun time! The Detectives were high energy and quick on the spot with audience give and take. Very funny and incorporated several audience members in the show. We were at a table with several others and it turns out that a cast member was at our table in cognito but I won't spoil it. The clues were kinda hard so you have to do a little bit of work to figure this out but I was glad that it was challenging to solve. It was also a great way for me and my date to get comfortable with each other without just the normal awkward 1st date conversations. And, no...we didn't get it right ! They had a small bar available and dinner was good (chicken or salmon). The chicken was very moist and a large portion served with wild brown rice and green beans. The only negative is that there wasn't any ice in our tea or water and the servers were only in the room between scenes to help with things like that so as to not disturb the show. My mom and I had a fabulous time! If you get there early enough, there is a happy hour downstairs in the lobby. We love FREE WINE! The whole evening was full of fun. You get to be someone else for the night. They make you pick an alias before you walk in. Then, the real fun begins. No spoilers, but they picked my mom to be a part of the show.
